Today’s kids won’t agree with this statement as they haven’t seen what life looked like before Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram took over.

But 90s kids would definitely agree with me on this.

When the summer vacations start, the Facebook timeline gets flooded with holiday pictures. Back then, in the 90s,how did we enjoy summer holidays? It was a lot more fun to lick the mango pulp off our elbows than to click selfies and post it on social media sites. Here is how the 90s kids spent their summer vacations and made their holidays memorable:

Outdoor Games

The 90s kids had real friends and hence they played real games. Summer vacation used to be all about hanging out with the friends that reside in the neighborhood. Forget about evenings, not even the mornings and afternoons were spared. The kids used to go home simply to have lunch and dinner. Marbles, lagori, hopscotch, hide and seek were some of the common games.

Cartoon Networkand Pogo

There were no restrictions on watching TV during summer vacations. We could watch it all day long. Unlike today, 90s kids were blessed to have cartoons that were in true sense, FUN. Tiny TV also brought us great entertainment. Oswald, Noddy, Bob the Builder, and Pingu instantly became every 90s kid’s friends. When not playing out in the heat, we used to watch educational and fun programs on either Cartoon Network or Pogo. And how can we forget Rob’s M.A.D, the show that taught us a lot about music, art, and dance.

Super Marioand Duck Hunt

Xbox wasn’t a trend back then. The kids in the 90s enjoyed playing Super Mario and Duck Hunt on the TV. TV? Yes, we have had a blast playing TV video games. We did not connect with the strangers on a gaming site for multiplayer games. We always had our own gang ready to look for Mario’s girlfriend or to hunt the ducks.

Visiting Grandmother and other relatives

Summer vacation always meant visiting grandmother, especially mother’s mother. Even today, if the 90s kids are given an option to visit either Switzerland or Nani’sGhar, they would definitely choose their Nani’s house. The variety of dishes cooked with love followed by tons of mangoes was the best part of summer vacations. The most of the veggies and fruits that grandma served used to be farm fresh and organic.

No matter how advanced the technology gets, it will not be able to give us back those simple days full of love and warmth. The real human connection is something we will always miss. Fortunately, being born in the 90s at least allowed us to experience the real world and its beauty before it got replaced by the virtual world.

When you join one of your dream companies, all you think of is – climbing the success ladder by working hard. There’s no shortcut to success. So, hard work is certainly required.

But along with hard work, there are other skills you need to survive in the corporate world. No matter how good you are at your work, there will be people around who will hate you for reasons unknown. This ‘I hate you for no reason at all’ most of the times costs you your job.

If you are already part of the corporate world or are a Fresher who is all set to become a part of it, then keep these tips in mind which will help Surviving in the corporate world :

Surviving in the corporate world –

Be diplomatic

When in college, speaking your heart out is always appreciated. Your friends adore this quality of yours. But in the corporate world, you might just get kicked out for your bravery. As you step into an organisation, make sure you sugar coat everything that has even a minutest chance of hurting your colleague or boss’ sentiments.

Stay away from office politics

At times, it becomes difficult to not get involved in whatever’s happening around because there will be a lot happening around. Even though you are least interested, there will be a colleague or two who would want to share every detail of other people’s personal and professional life with you. When such groups are formed, even before you know, you become a part of office gossip and eventually, politics. As you are seen with a particular group, the other group will certainly attack you and you will start doing the same. It’s better to stay away from groups, gossip, and office politics.

Focus on building strong relationships

You might find this point contradicting the previous one, but it is not. You should learn to build strong relationship with every colleague while maintaining a safe distance. Good relationships take you far.

Make sure you are always needed

The moment your company feels that you can be replaced, you will be replaced. To avoid that, keep honing your skills. Stay updated with the industry trends. Enroll in new courses. No matter how good is your relationship with your co-workers, they will without any second thought replace you when needed (or when not needed).

Grab opportunities without delay

As you work hard, polish your skills, and make sure you are on good terms with everyone around, you will be given opportunities that you might not even be ready for. Or at times, you may feel that someone else deserves the opportunity that has come your way. Whatever the scenario is, don’t shy away from grabbing opportunities that are presented to you. If not you, they might be passed on to a less deserving candidate.

There cannot be an adventure better than this. Your gang is the only group of individuals around whom you can be yourself while having all the fun in the world.

If your gang is among the ones who love to explore new fun places with each other and celebrate friendship by travelling together, then here is a list you should not miss:

Fun places where you should go with your gang –

1 – Chail, Himachal Pradesh

Matheran, Mahabaleshwar, and Manali are some of the most common hill stations that Indians visit every summer. Ditch these hill stations and head straight to Chail with your gang. It’s a hill station situated approximately 45 km away from Shimla.

Besides sightseeing, you can also opt for trekking. Chail is also home to the world’s highest cricket ground. Sadhupul, a river restaurant is another tourist attraction which is one of the best spots to explore with a group of friends.

2 – Bir Billing, Himachal Pradesh

If you do not go out an adventure date with your gang, you will be missing out on all the fun in life. Bir Billing is the paragliding hub of India and should simply not be missed. Do what friends do the best together – aim high and reach for the sky.

Himachal Pradesh is also one of the best places for trekking. You can also try Indrahar Pass Trek, DeoTibba Trek, Beas Kund Trek, Bara Bhangal trek when in Himachal Pradesh.

3 – Assam

Assam is for wildlife lovers. The place is home to the one-horned rhinos. The main attractions for animal lovers are DibruSaikhowa, Kaziranga National Park, and Manas National Park. You can also enjoy activities like boat ride while exploring the beautiful flora and fauna.

4 – Hampi

Hampi is for the gang who loves going back in time and exploring the remains of history. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site which had also topped the charts of the most searched place in Karnataka in the year 2014. 7th-century Hindu temple and cultural site, Virupaksha temple is a must visit in Hampi. Matanga hill, Achyutaraya temple, VijayaVittala temple are some of the other major attractions.

5 – Udaipur, Rajasthan

If you have ever wanted to visit Venice but couldn’t afford it, head straight to Udaipur. The city is rightly known as Venice of the East. The City of Lakes lets you experience royalty and luxury without burning a hole in your pocket.

Last but not the least, Goa. When it’s an outing with friends the place that tops the list is Goa. It is hence not on the list. But still, it couldn’t be skipped. One of the most fun and pocket-friendly places to visit. Roam on the beaches or party in the club; the place is peaceful and happening, both at the same time. So, team up and have fun.

I mean, our parents always told us about Dekh Bhai Dekh, Byomkesh Bakshi, Fauji, Circus, and what not. If not for Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai, this generation would have been left with no other option than to tell the kids about Sasural Simar Ka. We would havedied of shame, haven’t we?

Well, almost! The world has shrunk due to the Internet which has opened doors that were unknown to us earlier.

We now know that there are careers other than medical and engineering that earn you the same respect, and also, good money.

If you are a fresh graduate looking for Offbeat Careers, here is a list for you:

Offbeat Careers –

1 – YouTuber

Social Media has simplified life opening the door to a plethora of opportunities. There is no need to keep knocking the door of corporate firms till they realize your worth and let you in only to offer you work which you hardly like. If you have talent which is worth sharing with the world, then the Internet will welcome you with open arms. But yes, like other jobs, being a YouTuber too isn’t going to be easy. You cannot expect to become a star overnight simply by starting your own channel. You need to have good content along with hell lot of patience.

2 – Food Taster/Food Reviewer/Food Blogger

Being a foodie is a different thing, being passionately in love with food is another story. If you think you can smell the food and tell if it tastes good or not, then food tasting is a career you should consider. In case, food science does not interest you, you can choose the less complicated side of this career. There are websites and companies that offer you a job to explore restaurants and khaugallis in the city, taste the food and review the same. So, all you have to do is, keep a watch on the restaurants and thelas that serve you tasty food, try it out, and get paid for telling the foodies if the food is ‘Yay or Nay.’

3 – Ethical Hacking

If you love coding, technology, and unlocking the locked system, then you should definitely get yourself admitted to a reputed institute for ethical hacking. There are corporate giants who require ethical hackers for security purpose. But yes, you should always keep in mind that as companies hire ‘Ethical’ hackers for security purposes, one should not get involved in any kind of unethical practice.

If the company loses faith in you, you can lose your job.

4 – Rural Studies

Rural Studies is a career for people who want to understand Rural India and its needs. You get to subjects like forestry, farm management, animal husbandry, child development, community development, agriculture, and environment management. Once the course is completed, the student can join an NGO or organisations that work for the betterment of Rural India.

5 – Photography

Photography today is not restricted to birthday parties and weddings. From capturing nature’s spine-chilling realities to wild life’s best moments, there’s a lot you can do with your camera and get paid for it. Please remember that being able to click a good picture on a smartphone does not make you a photographer. If you love the art, train yourself to click a picture that stands out.

These are Offbeat Careers – Before choosing a career, ask yourself where your soul lies and then go where your heart takes you. The money will follow.

Each one of us has a fair share of relationships but none is ready to settle down just for the sake of it. We are ready to wait for the one who deserves our time and energy.

And most of us are ok even if the right person never walks into our lives, as we are happy spending the weekends in the company of friends, beer, and good movies.

So, here are some of the coolest celebrity quotes about singlehood that makes alone looks cooler and more amazing than it already is:

Celebrity Quotes –

Fall in love with yourself and you will never feel alone

This is something every single person, especially in his/her late 20s, has been tired of telling the world. Yes, I am single. And I am single by choice. But I am not alone. I am with myself and that’s more than enough for me.

Do you need another person to complete you?

When you are happy with yourself and in your own company, you truly do not need anyone else to fulfill you. You are enough all by yourself.

All the single ladies out there, do you agree?

The mantra to an unsuccessful relationship is this: Be in a relationship because you are afraid of being alone. Allow another person into your space only because you love them. No compromises there. Such relationships eventually turn toxic.

There’s lots of love in your life to be grateful for

There’s a difference between not having a relationship and not having love in life. A relationship is not always equal to love. That’s why they say that not everyone in a relationship is in love. And love does not restricttothe emotional bond between a man and woman anyway. Look for love in life, not for a relationship.

You are your own accomplishment, even if there is no man in your life

If you are a single woman who is successfully climbing the success ladder but still think that you haven’t achieved everything in life because you could not find yourself a good man, then here’s one of simplest yet powerful quotes for you from Halle Berry.

Girls who are busy writing their own ‘…And she lived happily ever after’

Girls no more need a Prince Charming to rescue them or for a happily ever after. They are writing their own happy endings. This quote from Katy Perry is for the ones who love their lives without a Prince Charming in it.

When you want to give all of your attention to yourself

This quote from Rihanna is for girls who are not ready for a relationship yet or who willingly don’t want to enter a relationship right away as they do not have enough time to invest in men.

Settle down only when you find someone who contributes to tour happiness

Do not settle down because you want a partner. Settle down only when you find someone who makes it worthwhile.

You love your freedom, don’t you?

Who doesn’t love to be a free bird? Well, the ones in a relationship, I guess.

We are a deadly combination of ‘Sensitive, Sensible and BADASS.’

We are the ones who do not mind wearing a sari to keep our in-laws happy, and we are also the ones who love to adorn the tattoo on the lower back (for the low-waist jeans days 😉 ).

We are the ones who manage the corporate world as efficiently as we handle the kitchen. We are today’s women – the ones who don’t disrespect the culture yet like to give the society ‘cultural shock’ time and again. We are the ones who now refuse to be Sita and proudly flaunt the Durga within.

To all the beauty with brains out there, here are some quotes that would remind you that you are magnificent, marvellous, and outstanding

Where humanity stoops to a new low every day, you are your own responsibility. You can no longer rely on another human being for your well-being. Unfortunately, not even on your family and friends, at times.

In an age where you cannot trust anyone or when there are rarely people around who wants only the best for you; Chanakya’s teachings come to the rescue. His golden words are what we need today to tactfully handle Kalyug and live life as smartly as possible.

#LifeLesson No. 1: Honesty is not always the best policy

Try telling your boss that he does not know his work. Try telling your mother that you do not believe in the institution of marriage but do not mind a live-in relationship. Try telling your father you spend the pocket money he gives you on beer and see what happens next.

I rest my case!

#LifeLesson No. 2: Look for the good in bad. Do not fall prey to fake appearances.

Nothing is what it seems. In Kalyug, there will only be poison around. It is your job to extract nectar from it. If you see the filth, wash it and check if gold has been covered in dirt. If you allow the dirt to trick you into believing that there is no gold for you, it’s your loss. Someone else will definitely wash the filth and take the gold away which originally belonged to you. And never ever forget that the fools teach you the most important life lessons. Pay attention!

#LifeLesson No. 3: Your secrets should belong only to you

Kalyug is the age wherenone has the best of intention for another. No matter whether the other person is your partner, friend, sibling, or a well-wisher, at some point in time, there will be jealousy. People may not always disturb your life intentionally but when jealousy is born, they may use your secrets against you. This can be anything – from a dream coming true, a relationship you do not want to disclose, or hunting a new job while already working for a company. It’s better to keep your secrets to yourself unless and until the plans are executed and dreams – fulfilled.

#LifeLesson No. 4: A serpent changes his skin, not his fangs

Even if you tame a tiger, you cannot guarantee that he will not eat you when hungry. The same is applicable to evil people. Gone are the days when love and compassion used to change people for good. In Kalyug, even love is misused and abused. When you see toxic people around, it’s better to walk away from them.

#LifeLesson No. 5: Do not lower your standard

Arguing with fools will only drain you, emotionally and mentally. It is alright to let them think that they are superior. They will never raise their intellectual standard. And it’s not your job to polish their intellect.

None of us are anymore interested in those Saas Bahu serials full of hamming. But what made us fall instantly in love with these Pakistani dramas? Here are a few reasons:

Real Characters

The characters in these dramas are real, unlike Indian serials. Every character is a mix of shades which make them more interesting. There are rarely any characters that either cry the whole day or try to become the ‘hero’ or ‘heroine’ of the show. Not even the lead actors are larger than life. Remember Mere Qatil, Mere Dildar? Yes, the lead was abused, but then if it would have been an Indian serial, the actress would have tried to keep the TRPs high with more tears, whereas the lead in this Pakistani Serial chooses Revenge. This is what makes them stand out.

Plot

They have a proper plot. The story never goes haywire. Throughout the journey, the story sticks to its plot. A proper start and a perfect end is what make these better serials than our Saas Bahu dramas.

Limited Number of Episodes

Nothing in excess is good. But our serials would never understand that. When a promo of a particular serial comes on a channel which has been running since ages, majority of Indians ask, ‘Is this serial still on?’ I do not understand on what basis these serials run? Because if there never ending episodes would have truly been popular, then Zindagi Gulzar Hai would not have been appreciated for its just 26 number of episodes.

Actors Can Act

Ahhh! That’s such a relief. Camera just doesn’t pan up and down and then right and left on the same expressionless faces a dozen of times. Actors in Pakistani dramas act. And they take their work damn seriously. There was a time when actor in Indian entertainers too could act. Take Dekh Bhai Dekh for instance. What natural acting. The class of our serials too was different before these never ending heroine-vamp stories took over.

100 Serials, 100 Stories

If they come up with 100 serials, they will have without any doubt come up with 100 different stories unlike our programs where 300 serials run on 1 storyline. Pakistan through serials tells their viewers a story, a different story with every new program. This is why they never bore us.

Zindagi has not only taken us back to the good television days by giving us programs worth watching, but also thinned the line between two countries by convincing us that we are no different.

I wonder when Indian Television will once again give us quality programs like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Dekh Bhai Dekh and Fauji.

And when it comes to these tempting items, we just cannot imagine a life without them.

Here you go:

Pani Puri

Even if you have been to the most exotic hotels in the world, have had the world’s best cuisine, but have not eaten Pani Puri on the Indian Streets, then you have not eaten the best yet. If ever this spicy, tangy chaat is served to the world, it will undoubtedly top the list of best food in the world.

Dabeli

Dabeli is the most loved street food of Gujarat. But no more! This cousin of Vada Pav can be found in most of the parts of India today, especially on the streets.

Raj Kachori

Raj Kachori, this family member of chaat is famous all over India. Stuffed with masalas and topped with curd, tangy chutneys and sev, you cannot eat just one. But! This Kachori is so filling that you have no other option than to stop at one.

Aloo Tikki Chaat

One of the simplest chaat recipes that can easily be made at home, anytime. Having said that, you will never get that street side taste of aloo tikki at home. Topped with curd, chutneys and sev, or chole; this street food will never ever disappoint you. It tastes heavenly in every way.

Pav Bhaji

With cheese or without cheese? How do you like it? With extra butter, maybe? If you accidentally pass a pav bhaji stall with a full stomach, I bet, you will still not be able to resist this street food. So, when you have no intention of eating out, it’s a strict warning to avoid streets that offer pav bhaji to you.

Vada Pav

Now what can I say about Mumbai’s jaan Vada Pav? Be it morning breakfast, a quick snack before running for the meeting, after office snack, or to fix a quick hunger pang; Vada Pav comes to the rescue anytime and every time.

Bhel Puri

The toughest question ever faced in life is – Sukha Bhel ya Gila Bhel? We love both, don’t we? This street food is not just tasty, but filling too.

Is there any other item that we have missed out, and you would like to add to the list?

Every relationship’s priority should be loyalty and commitment.

Marriage, I would say, is a system where two people make an official announcement of coming together because either they love each other or because they feel a need for companionship (in which case, they arrange a marriage). But then, the basis of live-in relationship is only love, there is no arrangement made that have risen out of insecurity. One second! If there is no insecurity and only love then why there is no marriage? Is it because it’s an institution that makes walking out of a relationship difficult? If the relationship is based only on love, then why don’t you feel like you can be with the person for a lifetime?

But then marriage has its own problems. The only difference between live-in relationships and marriage is that you cannot walk out of a marriage easily. Still, walking out or not is your decision which can be taken anytime.

Then what is this live-in relationship or marriage fight all about? Relationship, of any kind is an individual’s choice, and no one has the right to interfere in it, unless and until it does not harm any third person, as only the individuals involved face the consequences of their decision. Especially, in a country like India where no one says a word against child marriages, where there is no strict law against rape, where no one bothers to take any action against khaap panchayat; people should not comment on anyone’s personal lives. May people choose to be in a gay relationship, lesbian relationship, live-in relationship or choose to marry, no one has the right to not let them choose their own relationships.

And when did marriage promise you security, a life-long relationship, loyalty and love? If that would have been the case, marital rapes wouldn’t have existed.

It’s high time that we, as human beings, decide to live and let live.

And makaan? Ahhh… Just post a sentimental status and you will find it going viral in no time, with a long queue of houses, even luxurious houses waiting for you for free!

People are more interested in charity on social media than reality, you know?

Who would have thought we could have a technology that will allow us to text each other while in the same room, sitting right next to each other giving your mouth a complete rest.

When they said, Robots is our future, who would have thought that man is talking about reinventing himself?

How dull was life before Smartphones. People had no other option than to talk to each other at dinner table. How easy is life today! There are hundreds of agony aunts waiting on our chat list to listen to us and offer us expert advice with our parents sitting next to us waiting to hear how our day was.

How our generation loves Smartphones.

We do not have to go through all those relationship dramas these days. Who are we answerable to? An unknown person texting from the other side? No matter how close a friend he/she has become over a few days, if we can ignore our own family for this person, do you think we can’t ignore him/her for another stranger who texts me interesting things these days?

Falling in love has also become so easy. Whatsapp 24/7 and it’s true love. Want to break up? Stop replying to the person’s texts. For a few days the person would wonder what went wrong and then move on with another whatsapp member. You are answerable to none.

We think Smartphones is connecting us, but is it truly connecting us?

This is something each one of us need to ask ourselves. We are comfortable texting a friend or even a stranger, but are just not interested in communicating with the same person when he sits right next to us.

We then look for another green button in front of someone’s name to ping him/her.

Our egos have become high, but our heads have gone down.

Our options have increased, but the number of people in our lives has decreased.

Smartphones is without any doubt a necessity today. But food and water is more important, still we do not eat 24/7. We intake food and water only when needed. Eating 24/7 will definitely kill us. Similar is the case with Smartphones. We should know where and when to stop.

This advertisement of Skype says a lot about going from roti, kapda and makaan to roti, kapda and smartphone.

Fortunately, this is not true.

Even today, people with golden hearts exist who are just not bothered about what would they be getting in return, their only focus in on giving. I guess that is what self love is all about – doing what satisfies YOU, without thinking even once about anyone else.

I would like to talk about such stories that would restore your faith in humanity.

Mumbai’s Dabbawalas

Dabbawalas are Mumbai’s pride. Their work has been appreciated even across the borders. They have been getting blessings of the millions for serving hot, fresh, homemade food to people at workplaces. It looks like the community was in need of more blessings. Hence the initiative – Share Your Food!

I wonder how many money making companies actually think of investing into humanity and acts of kindness. 90% of the crowd is busy thinking of how to double their money. But the dabbawalas thought otherwise. They thought of investing into people. They thought of using their product (food) to solve the age old problem of hunger in the country.

The already busy dabbawalas gave their customers a sticker to stick on their tiffins with uneaten food. They then after collecting the tiffins took out time to separate these tiffins and feed the poor who sleep empty stomach almost daily. The volunteers later joined them and they together fed huge number of people.

Sindhutai Sapkal

This lady’s journey has been remarkable. From begging on the roads after being abandoned by her family, planning to commit suicide with her 2 year old daughter and then deciding to not give up come what may, to becoming a mother of thousands of orphans. Not just did she gave them shelter with immense love, but also established them in fields like engineering, medicine, law, etc.

Reason? She did not want any other human being to suffer from what she had suffered in her life. Salute!

Dr. Prakash Amte

This man’s talent deserved earning in crores. Instead of working for 5 star hospitals, this man chose to follow his father’s (Baba Amte) footsteps and settle in a village to offer medical treatment to adivasis, a community who had blind faith in things like black magic and did not even know what medicine is.

Dr. Prakash Amte (MBBS) has performed even eye surgeries by reading books without any proper medical arrangement just to save people’s life. Wait! If you think his services ended by treating human beings in need, then you are wrong. The man who couldn’t see anyone suffer started treating sick and injured animals to save their lives. For these orphan animals, Dr. Prakash Amte is their parent.

Now he is the one who I would love to call a Godman!

Yes, it is unbelievable that people like these exist on planet earth. But they are living examples that just a little love and one step towards kindness can make this world a better place to live.

I assume that those were the news that inspired to become a Journalist – Pure News and Ethical Journalism.

Whatever happened to that bout of inspiration that made you enter journalism, let me make one thing very clear today – India is more than Modi and Maa, if you know what I mean.

When 24/7 news channels were launched, the news lovers were damn happy as they would now not have to wait for the clock to strike 7 in the evening to get the news of the day, or they were happy about not having to read the newspaper with their breakfast to stay updated. Anytime, they switch on the news, they know what is happening in their country, and around the world. You have disappointed people who had high hopes from you.

All you are obsessed with today is Congress Con, Modi Government, Sunny Leone, Rakhi Sawant, Kids fallen in the borewell and now the latest – Maa.

What surprises me the most is being a journalist, you must have known each and every inside scoop since the very beginning, then why didn’t these become breaking news long back? Why did only during elections, did you realize how great has Modi Sarkar been in Gujarat?

How come you started running FILMY stories related to Sanjay Dutt when the verdict was supposed to be out?

Did you have no idea what kind of business these Godmen and Godwomen were running all through these years? And if you seriously didn’t, then it is time you quit journalism. And if you feel you were following up with better news and have better things to do then support criminals through your news stories, give me the news guys, give me the relevant news.

Your stories these days force me to think if Indian Media is paid. Because I cannot keep myself away from wondering what happens to those sensational stories that all of a sudden stop getting any footage. Remember, Hema Malini and the victims? It was bringing my faith back into journalism seeing you run a story that was not in favour of a parliament member.

Trying to get the latest update on the news, I realized that you no more feel the need to tell us if those victims were provided the treatment or thrown out of the hospital. There are many, many stories that do not see the daylight as you are busy giving footage to movie promotions, celebrity scoops or your ever changing views on the government – Paid, is it?

Must be, as I do not think you promote movies and run after celebs as their PR calls you for the goodness of Nation.

But there were days when people had no option of changing the channel and were forced to watch each and every advertisement that popped on the channel. Did we regret those days? No! Not at all! In fact, we miss those days, and we miss those classy commercials.

Unfortunately, we can’t go back to those days, but fortunately, we can go back to those ads. Thanks to YouTube!

Let’s have a look at the Ads That Will Make You Feel Nostalgic

The Jalebi Ad

AWWWWW is not a latest trend; this Jalebi ad started it. I wonder if the brand must be thanking its agency for this ad, or cursing for it. Why? Because who remembers the brand? Remember they were not endorsing jalebis, but the brand Dhara.

By the way, have you ever thought of falling in love with yourself? Believe me, it makes you a better person.

How? Let’s see how does falling in love with yourself make you a better person?

Boosts your Self Confidence

When you love yourself, you stop criticizing yourself. And the moment you stop criticizing yourself, you accept yourself. And with acceptance comes confidence. You become comfortable with your flaws. Instead of running away from them, you accept them and try to improve yourself. This keeps you away from fear of other people pointing at your flaws and you having to face them when you are just not ready. This self-acceptance definitely boosts your confidence making you walk with grace and poise even in a room full of crowd, because you fear none.

No Balaji Telefilms Drama in Life

A person who is in love with herself/himself is emotionally independent. This keeps him/her away from negative emotions like jealousy, insecurity, constant need for attention, envy, and fear. You start refraining from creating drama in your as well as other people’s life.

In Love with Your Own Company

Oh, how you need the other person 24/7 when you fall in love. You do not need anyone else. When with your love, you glow. Same thing happens when you fall in love with yourself. Alone will never mean you are lonely. You will never sit at home bored because you wanted to go for a movie and no one was available to accompany you.

When you start exploring the world alone, check in at all the happening places on Facebook, the world will automatically join you.

More in Touch with Yourself

Remember how you sit down when your loved ones when they feel low trying to figure out what is wrong and then come up with a solution? You will do this favour to yourself too when you accept and love yourself. You will never need anyone else to console and make you feel better. Instead, you will lock yourself in a room or go to a beach, ask yourself what is bothering you, and then come up with a solution. This will keep you away from depression, as well.

No Fake Relationships and Relationship Dramas

Person who does not love himself/herself needs someone to constantly make him/her feel loved. This constant need to be with someone makes the person accept anyone in life, fall in love often – most of the times with wrong people creating all the relationship drama as soon as you realize the other person is not the one you are looking for.

Falling in love with yourself makes you glow as only positivity fills you. You stay away from people who like dramas and who create dramas. With a better understanding of yourself and of other people, you choose your company wisely.

Loving yourself gives you the power to choose happiness, come what may.
