We succumb to the negative energy around us that affects our overall functioning and outlook towards others.

We have forgotten to love ourselves and are running behind money and fame.

But is fame and money everything? Can it buy you happiness?

Hell no!

While most of us relate to this, there are a handful of people who are always happy.

Have you ever wondered what the secret ingredients behind their happiness are?

Let’s see how we can find happiness…

LOVE YOURSELF

The key ingredient to happiness is to love yourself. You need to be happy in your own skin rather than comparing yourself with others. Accept yourself the way you are, and others will love you too. Don’t try to copy the looks of others. Be original, be yourself and happiness will knock at your door.

Trust me, being single on New Year’s Eve is the best thing ever. It doesn’t matter about what you did last year with someone, cause’ everything that matters now is “Enjoying being single and having a big bang like no one’s watching”.

Screw all that relationship shit because especially the New Year’s Eve should be all about YOU. So, just take a look at yourself into the mirror, dress up the way you want to and have fun in a wildest way possible.

Before these things blow your mind, here are some reasons that indicates why the perks of being single on new Year’s Eve is an absolute bliss.

You can go out and Partyyy

Now just picture this {You’re in a relationship and on New Year’s Eve your partner is convincing you to stay at home and enjoy the wine and dine} Ugh, how boring it can get, right? But if you’re single, there’s no one to hold you back and you can go wherever you want too. Isn’t that cool?

You can spend your money on things YOU like

Now, how cool is that, right? You’ve no one to control you or tell you that don’t spend your money here and there and blah blah…You can spend money or you can save it 😉 the way you want it to do without any interference.

You can kiss a random person

Well, obviously if that random person allows you to do that thing. But anyways, it is the best time to hook up or simply the catch and fall on New Year’s midnight is just fine. Everybody is high and they’re going crazy doing all stuff-Just imagine, how lucky you’ll be in such a scenario.

You can go out and spend time with your friends

Trust me; some committed ones think that New Year’s Eve should only be celebrated with their SO. But c’mon, the fun that you can have with your crazy friends is nothing as compared to the committed feeling.

You can just stay in and do the crazy things

Suppose you’re a person who wants to stay at home and drink some wine and stuff. But just cause’ you’re committed, your partner wants you to be out and she’s not digging to understand you, then it can get horrible, right? But remember, the perks of being single is you can do whatever the f*ck you want to do. Going out…Naah! OK…Staying in….Naah! Ok. It is all about you and your decisions.

For all the single one’s out there, do you want to share any extra perks of being single on New Year’s Eve ? Let us know in comments below.

Almost every other girl holds this desire and tries her best to attain it, with whatever means they have in hand. But most of the times, the efforts fail and the disappointment clouds the senses.

Well, one way to get there is by elevating the lean muscles in the body. Increasing lean muscle helps fire up your metabolism and burns fat to give your body a more toned appearance. We agree that building a bikini body in just 21 days might not sound practical, if you have a significant amount of weight to lose, but committing to exercise routines and fitness eating can definitely make you looking leaner, tighter and healthier, in those 3 weeks of dedication!

So, understanding your mental quest and the ultimate yearning to be in that bikini bod, in 2016, here we bring you the 21 day bikini body challenge in a workable fashion. Go for it and change your life and body size forever!

Here are 6 pointers you need to work upon for Bikini Body Challenge!

1. Get Adequate Amount of Sleep To Rejuvenate The Senses

For your body to get into the realm of rigorous workouts and sensible eating, it must get good rest in form of sound sleep, at least for 8 continuous hours a day.

Uninterrupted sleep of continuing hours will revitalize the body and will give you enough energies to start working in the positive manner. If you do not get enough sleep, you body will be tired, lethargic and unwilling to get up and get going!

Ladies, you don’t have to make fun about your boyfriend when he fails to do something.

You know why, because in the end “no guy is perfect”.

There are many women out there who feel that “Men are mature and good at everything” but no, that’s not right. Just like a woman, every man has their own insecurities even though they try to hide ‘em or act like “I’ve none”.

Being a woman, you just need to recognise it and most importantly realize that even a man have feelings instead of cracking a joke at his failure.

Well, here are things that make every man insecure about himself.

Height and Weight

Do you think a guy is OK being short or OK being fat? I’ll tell you, they do care about how they look and yes, even though a man is blessed with good-looks, he feels insecure about gaining a lot of weight and his height matter etc.

Hair Loss and White Hair

Every guy feels uncomfortable when a girl teases him “Oldie” when he has white hair. It beats up so much that a guy feels insecure about it and he fears to step out of the house.

Girls, when you’re facing hair-loss troubles that time you Google to find solution, right? You know what; a man does the same thing because hair loss haunts him too.

Comparison With His Friends

Suppose his friends are earning more than him then chances are; he feels a little bit bad about how he is earning less as compared to ‘em. So, if your boyfriend is going through the same thing, don’t compare him even though it’s in a jokingly manner.

Being Open With Emotions

Like they say- A man who cries in front of a woman is not a man. I don’t know how many of you still believes this but dang, this has caused a lot of insecurity problems. A man feels troubled that he can’t openly express his emotions in front of anyone.

Future

If he’s earning 35k from his 9-5 job, then that doesn’t mean that he is completely happy about it. Earning equals to future i.e. not knowing about how he will manage to make his family happy makes him insecure.

You know, nothing is sorted out and that’s what makes him uncomfortable.

“Being A Man”

It is not easy at all.

The thought of “being a man” makes him insecure because then he keeps thinking how to behave and how to prove masculinity etc.

Sex

Do you think that they are an expert into doing this? Or do you think they have a master’s degree or something? It’s all crap because just like a woman who is nervous while having sex, a man goes through the same thing.

He feels insecure thinking about the first time of his “sexual performance” with his lady-love. (You know, what will she think etc etc)

Private Part

A lot of guys feel insecure about their penis size. So ladies, don’t ever comment on their private part because it is not a good thing to do.

These were the 8 things that make every man insecure about himself. Guys, do you have anything to add? Leave a comment below.

There was a time, when beggars were helpless and their only option was to beg.

Even while begging, their eyes used to be filled with shame and their tone of voice was utterly soft and low. Earlier, they used to beg and ask for the needed money only.

But nowadays, everything has changed and begging has become a business.

They are not asking money because they are helpless to do anything, but they are doing it for their own benefit. Their innocence is no more innocent and thus, it all goes to the high extent, when instead of keeping quiet, they keep troubling each and every person on the street.

Not only that much, some of the beggars behave so badly, that they even use words that are enough to upset each one of us. Apart from that, some beggars even abuse people who refuse to give ‘em money.

Some of you might’ve come across these harsh sayings- “Jise Malik Ne Diya Hai Wahi Dega”, Joh Deta Hai Or Joh Dene Wala Hai, Woh Bulakar Deta Hai”, “Joh Khud Nahi Kha Sakte Woh Bhala Dusron Ko Kyu Khilaenge”.

Today, the people who walk on the streets {Including you} clearly know that begging has become a business. Despite laws, the process of begging is not at all given any special attention.

That is why; Youngisthan has taken an initiative to remove the begging process. India is not a beggar’s country but it is a country that we all are proud of. Youngisthan wants other people to help us in this initiative, so that we make our INDIA beggar-free.

According to the reports, for 1 day, beggars earn minimum 1000 Rupees and during festive season, they earn total 2000 rupees. The rich ones, who force some people to beg every-day, take all the money and this is how the profession continues.

Beggars change their attire and religion too- For e.g. If area A consists of Hindu people, then they will dress up as Hindu and if area 2 consists of Muslim people, then they will dress up as Muslim’s.

Those who are in groups play smartly and divide time and places.

Some men are so smart that they send their wives and small kids to beg. Their wives then give emotional reasons and tell stories e.g. “My husband is not well” etc.

Many even attempted to get the beggars out of this business, but No, they are not at-all ready because for them begging taste better instead of hard-work.

This is the main reason why the organised gangs are taking advantage of begging in this manner. These gangs’ related people kidnap small children and force all of ‘em to beg and earn money.

This was the truth behind begging. So now, you’ve to decide whether you’ll keep giving ‘em money or take some action and help us to stop it.

We want all your support to make INDIA beggar-free.

― Anatole France

So when I talk about animal love it just goes beyond limits and any pet owner will unconditionally love his or her pet it does apply on all the animals.

So when people keep dogs, cats, parrots as a pet how about having a panda as a pet at your home? IF this happens, the PETA people might just crash into my place because we just cannot have some lovely animals as a pet a home.

In India, keeping a tiger as a pet is illegal but if you go overseas there are many countries which allow you to keep a tiger as a pet!

So we have come up with some list of Animals we would love to have as a pet

Polar Bear

I wish I could just live in Arctic Circle to just be around them. Polar bear are the animals of the arctic habitat that can both swim in a sea and walk on land. Their fury and cute appearance can melt anyone’s heart and if you spend some time on National Geographic or Discovery Channel, you would just love to see them laze around the snow of the Arctic Circle. Given a chance, I guess anyone would just love to have them as a pet.

Watching beggars on the streets must be making you feel that they’ve no other option than begging. But if you come to know that in-between these poor beggars, there are some who are educated ones, then what will be your reaction?

Let me tell you, according to a report, there are many beggars who are educated with degrees i.e. they are graduates, post graduates and even the Diploma holders. In these days, it won’t be surprising if you come across beggars who talk in English while begging. Yes!!

In many parts of the country, when the survey is done, many shocking results come out of it. Almost 200 beggars in India were found who were not only educated but they had the degree too. Despite the good qualification, they choose to beg.

In the year 2011, there was a census report in which the beggars with their educational qualification were clearly mentioned. This might surprise you but – according to the report, there were total 3.72 Lakh beggars in India

Many institution claims that there are more than 3.72 Lakh beggars in our country. Based on the official figures, out of 3.72 Lakh beggars, at-least 21 % are beggars who are 12th pass. And there are 3000 beggars who have professional degree in diploma courses. Well, even the graduates and post graduates are not less.

No doubt, to make India beggar free, many state and central government tried their best. Even the government tried to bring the beggars out of it but they refused to accept it. According to the beggars, the money begging can provide is incomparable to the money every person gets from 9 hour duty. More disgusting thing is that, even the educated ones are not ready to leave begging.

Hence, this creates a different image in the minds of people.

Some beggars revealed that they chose beggary not because they enjoy it, but it is all because they had no other option. They believe that even the degree and qualification standard is not helping ‘em to create a career. So in short, beggary was the only source of income.

Many experts strictly don’t believe in this logic and they say- how can it be possible that begging brings more peace as compared to other professional work?

Many educationalists believe that the absence of synergy between the employments is the main reason for this situation today. Whereas some say that in our country, begging is often mistaken.

It has always been seen that at first, beggars used to beg because they really had no other option, but as soon as the time passed, they took it as a business.

That’s why, if the government really wants to make India- beggar free, then they must take strict actions and work on a good plan. Or else, the dream of making India “beggar free” will always remain a dream.

Any thoughts? Leave a comment below.

Most of us would have heard this from our screaming moms since childhood.

The fast food we eat today limitlessly has clutched our fitness. It is impossible for us to resist eating them knowing the fact that they are really harmful for us. But, what if we say, “don’t stop yourself from eating junk!” Wondering!!! Stick around to know more.

Andre F. Smith in his book, Encyclopedia of Junk Food and Fast Food defines junk food as, “those commercial products, including candy, bakery goods, ice cream, salty snacks, and soft drinks, which have little or no nutritional value but do have plenty of calories, salt, and fats. Fast foods are ready-to-eat foods served promptly after ordering.”

Undoubtedly, fast food has greatly impacted our eating habits. We do eat green vegetables and fruits, but as ‘stuffing’on the fast food, such as capsicum and mushrooms in Pizzas, strawberries in cakes or puddings, tomatoes and peas in chats or PavBhaji, etc. which becomes “zero” in their nutrient value after being processed.

Come on! We all are aware of the mess these fast foods create in our body.

They are truly a burden on our life.

A respiratory disorder named “popcorn lung” exploded in the workers at a popcorn factory in the late ’90s. It was caused by inhaling diacetyl – a chemical used to give bagged popcorn a buttery flavor. In 2007, an American popcorn addict Wayne Watson litigated the manufacturers after he developed popcorn lung.

So, just to remind you, here is a quick glimpse of the ill-effects of eating junk on our life.

Adding inches to your waistline, increasing fat on your body.

Eating junk food continuously for just 5 days can deteriorate your memory.

Excess consumption of trans-fat may lessen the brain’s ability to control appetite and can cause hypothalamus.

“What’s bad for your waist is also bad for your face”. Eating processed food can cause you to undergo BOTOX very early to treat premature aging signs like wrinkles.

Just one slice of pizza makes you consume 275 calories and contains 22 percent of your daily saturated fat.

Food rich in saturated fat can cause you digestion problems for lifetime.

Regular Mood Swings, fatigue and depression are also the resultants of excess processed food intake.

The list of harmful effects of eating fast food or processed food does not end here!

But here’s something ‘delicious’ for you. What if we ask you to eat JUNK without any worries? Yes. Here are a few swaps for you to satisfy your fast food cravings without compromising your fitness. Have a look.

Now that the advertising industry is adulting, they started to experiment with both the complex and beautiful sides of human emotions or sometimes ticking the funny bones thereby making the advertisements look way appealing to us.

You too may have come across advertisements from other countries in social media or You Tube. Not only the global advertising industry draw inspiration from each other, the advertisements they make nowadays have deeper bearing on the common masses too.

You may have watched advertisements from varied countries but these Thai ones will really captivate you:

First things first, what Thai new age advertising industry really thrives on is sadness or wringing your heart dry before they could sell you anything. But here are these Thai ads that are off the beaten track and tear-inducingly funny.

New age advertising –

McCann Worldgroup Ad:

This ad shows how a man hatches at the middle of the road from a giant pill capsule. It won many awards for the off-beat concept among which is Cannes Lion International Festival for Creativity deserves a special mention.

Ocean skin Ad:

This ad shows the desperation of a woman to achieve a clearer skin and amazing complexion. This ad shows the quirky side of human creativity where it is suggestive that whale secretions are used in the product. This went viral in China where clear skin is an obsession.

Peppermint Field ad:

This ad shows how a nasal spray can clear your head block and save you from an accident. The actors act in hilarious ways and the ad is really funny.

https://www.facebook.com/peppermintfield/videos

Visa ad:

It is a 15 minute running ad, beat that! This one thrives around a Thai girl wandering about Tokyo after a painful break-up. The main draw of this ad is that they have dark-humour too. The protagonist of this ad sees a doomed creature of the sea as her own life, ‘Dead but alive, just like her’.

7 Eleven Ad:

This ad seems to enlighten us on the dangers of social media. There is a distinct plot twist in this ad which catches your fancy immediately. The ad is from CP-All which is instrumental in handling 7 eleven stores in Thailand.

These are new age advertising – These Thai ads showed us how humour can be a predominant element for selling a commercial good. These ads break the concept of exploiting your emotions and endow you with some really heart-warming humour.

If you too have studied in a residential college and passed a significant part of your life fighting over food, keeping up until late and gossiping only to feel achingly hungry at the crack of dawn and making showing some serious creative chops with Maggi.

Hostel life is the life that happens when we are hurrying headlong in the chase of life haunted by the fear to be succumbed in mediocrity.

And food, my dear is the key remembrance of our hostel lives. You too will agree with us if you well introspect.

From the watery daal to the half cooked Chapattis, Indian hostelers have been put through such horrifying experiences which taught them to be their own mainstay.

However here are some hostel foods that will make you truly nostalgic:

Hostel Foods –

1. Jhal-Muri:

Ahh! Those lazy evenings spent whilst munching on this awesome hot and spicy snack made with puffed rice and Chanachur. This was the most easily accessible snack for the hostelers and made within the drop of a hat.

2. Rolled-Chapattis:

You made your own rolled chapattis with the filling of your choice. So, apparently, the shitty hostel chapattis were not as useless. The noght-owls would save the chapattis for night and lace them with tangy ketchup, spicy chips, mayonnaise, jam et al to quench the 3.00 am hunger.

3. Cutting chai:

You grow your devotion towards chai in the college life itself while it is the only thing to go with eggs and bread at the nearby stall. Chai biscuit also satiated your hunger pangs between period breaks when you had classes in succession.

.

4. Maggi:

It was the staple for the hostelers. True messiah for the ones who were in always hurry. We always had Maggi handy and amost broke in cold sweat on finding there is no Maggi in stock. The myriad experiments with Maggi also later helped to excel as decent cooks in the later life.

5. Scrambled eggs:

We sneaked into the kitchen and broke the rule of not cooking in the hostel. Driven by necessity and relentless hunger, we resorted to this quick meal when mess food got on our nerves, literally. There was variety of dishes that could be tried with eggs, like incorporating fried eggs with Maggi to make it heavier.

You will flanked by small cousins and mausas, masis, chachas and chachis who look forward to your stories. These bona fide loyalists buy into your slapstick jokes to serious information in like manner, jaw dropped.

We have a suggestion, why not try something new this time, give them some information facts about space may be because it never fails to startles us being full of mystery.

So as to leave them jaw-dropped, we are laying down some points that will be your help near future:

Facts about space –

1. Thousands of other planets are out there in the Universe:

The entire universe is inundated with thousands of other planets but we only know about 8 of them. There are extra-solar planets, otherwise called exo-planets revolving around orbit of other star. There are 1800 confirmed new worlds, with 3000 awaiting confirmation. In the Star’s Goldilock zone, there are habitable planets just like Earth, astronomers believe.

2. The skin of your feet peels off in space:

There is a micro-gravity environment in space for which astronauts don’t use their feet to walk. Hence, their skin starts to soften and flake off. Also, there is no laundry facility available in the space compelling the astronauts to wear same underwear for few days. Their socks need to be pulled out gently or the soft skin peels will hover around.

3. A day is longer than a year in Venus:

Venus takes a whole year to complete a round around the orbit on the Sun, hence a day is longer than a Earth’s year in Venus. It takes 224.7 Earth days complete one whole orbit around the Sun whilst it takes 243 Earth days to rotate on its axis just once.

4. The Sun can house upto one million Earths:

The Sun is at the centre of the Solar system and the planets orbit the Sun. The Sun which occupies 99.8% of the entire Solar system, can house one million Earths in it.

5. You become taller than your normal size in space:

6. Space is nearer than you think:

Space starts where the universal marker of Karman line starts. There is an invisible boundary which is 100km above the Earth which enables you to drive your car upwards hence you can reach space in less than an hour.

7. Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun but not the hottest:

Mercury directly faces the Sun but this planet is only hot in the daytime. The maximum temperature in Mercury is 425 degree C whilst Venus, which is the hottest planet has scorching 500 degree C all the time.

But there are people who have rather opted for these unusual looking pets which became a talking point, Check out them here:

Unusual looking pets –

1. Goundian Finch:

These brightly coloured birds are really a sight to watch but it’s a tad unusual to have them as pets. Their super-saturated features let out the impression that they have been under an artist’s meticulous brush strokes. They look rather dreamy like melted sherbet and require proper care.

2. Cornish Rex Cat:

You look at them and feel like they are wearing corduroy coats, at least their thick fur create that visual impression. One look is not enough for them as they are headturners for bizarre reason. Their fur is unusual but soft nonetheless. Also, the grooves in their fur are real, not from any human violating them.

3. Ghost Shrimp:

Mostly chosen as an edible delicacy, but there are people who choose to keep them as pets in aquariums. They look transparent and live in fresh-water. It’s pretty easy to take care of them and your aquarium looks like a marine museum with these in possession.

4. Sugar Glider:

It looks like a squirrel and is found in Australia. They feed on insects and the sap from Eucalyptus and gum trees. These pets are adorable and small in size. They require a generous cage and can’t be toilet trained. Although it is a tad extra work to take care of these but these are worth it.

5. Eastern-Blue Tongued Skink:

This kind is a lizard whose blue tongue is the main attraction. These are mostly found in Australia and can live up to 30 years. The slow moving snake-like head is creepy but beautiful. Their body colour mutates from grey to brown and tongue bright to dark blue. They have a propensity to stick out their tongue every now and then. Overall, these creatures look like fat snakes with legs.

6. Xoloitzcuintli:

It somewhat looks like an amalgam of Chihuaha and Zebra. It has stripes all over the body and is certainly a rare breed. They are a treat to the eye and it appears as if someone created those stripes with a paintbrush. These were deemed sacrosanct among the Aztecs and Mayans.

7. Ranchu Goldfish:

This one looks like a normal goldfish with bubbles all over. You can call these ‘king of Goldfish’ if you please. They come in varied colours in appearances also. This is mostly found in Japan and develop most by the first year. Their heads look like a thicket of bubbles when they grow.

beautiful ranchu or lion head goldfish in fish tank

8. Sphynx Cat:

It has a wedge-shaped head and is devoid of fur. A sphynx cat can be anti-allergic for you with a sturdy body, pattered skin and highly beneficial protein in their skin oil and saliva. These cats are vitalised and curious always.

9. Puli:

This is a Hungarian Herder breed which looks like a mop but actually is a dog breed with fluffy curls. These have humanly qualities like intelligence, devotion and sense of humour.

10. Elephant Nose Fish:

It has a distinguished proboscis which is found mostly in Africa. These kind of elephant fish live in pools, that’s why the earthtone colouring. They live in aquariums and darn environments with low lighting. Surprisingly, this kind generate weak electrical impulses that you can listen to.

These are Unusual looking pets – You can show-off these pets to your guests and they will go bananas. Collecting these breeds can be quite the elbow-grease and taking care of these can be tedious too but these unusual looking creatures are truly worth possessing.

It always have bound women by stigmas and as the entertainment industry mirrors the society, the advertisements have always straightjacketed women by we didn’t bat an eyelid. Take for instance, the Fairness cream advertisements which hint that in order to be successful, a woman has to be FAIR & LOVELY!

Nelson Mandela once said-“Freedom can’t be achieved unless women have been emancipated from all forms of oppression. Our endeavours must be about the liberation of the woman”, which our society seems to antagonise partially riding on veiled orthodoxy and portraying the womenfolk weak in the advertisements. We have never paid heed to the content and accepted them as they came, but it’s time we did.

Here are the examples of such insipidly Mysogynist Indian Ads being ever made in India:

Mysogynist Indian Ads –

1 – Snickers TVC:

This ad has a controversial tagline “Bhukh lagi to tu ladki ban jata hai” (You nag like a girl when you feel hungry. So, apparently all the annoying habits are associated to girls no matter if it’s the guy’s innate problem.

2 – Airtel Smartphone Network Ad:

This ad aims at being progressive but is could not break free the web of regression. It shows a wife as boss to her husband but when she returns home, she is the one who cooks and waits for the husband.

3 – Again ad:

This vaginal tightening cream ad tells you how you should feel like a virgin again to become a more pleasurable object to your husband. It hasn’t anything to do with the woman at all.

4 – MTR ad:

This ad emphasises the idea that a woman has to be adept at multi-tasking and take care of the household and meet the needs of the members of the household. It shows a woman with six hands.

5 – Moov ad:

This throws light on the idea how the housewife does her daily chores while the husband remains nonchalant and watches cricket. Obviously, strenuous work makes her back ache where she is given to Moov and has to get back to work soon after. May be if the man of the house’s cooperation in her chores would keep the backache at bay?

6 – Kellogg’s Special K:

This advertisement is bodyshaming in disguise. No matter how much dissent we raise against Bodyshaming, advertisements like this will always fuel the misogyny. We always associate women with beauty and sculpted body and this advertisement reinforces the same idea.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mwVKTASmqQ

7 – Lotus cooking oil ad:

This is regressive with a capital R. The culturally defined role of a newlywed bride is to impress her new household and this ad concretizes the idea.

8 – Mother Dairy ad:

This ad hints at how helpless women become when they can’t stand up for themselves again the sole breadwinner of the family.

These are Mysogynist Indian Ads and invited a lot of flak after their release. These are not taking a step forward but taking it back. Orthodoxy is an incurable disease, so is patriarchy. So, it’s an imperative to raise frontier of resistance against it.

The enigma lingers in our minds for long after we are back to the civilisation after touring into the wild, rightfully so, because they are devoid of pretense and happy in their own domicile, doing the simple things that it takes to survive. They are also audacious if required in their own defiant way which gives us the thrills. However, due to some reasons, natural or man-made, most of the beautiful animals – beautiful wildlife and deep-sea creatures are at the threshold of extinction and here are some examples of them:

Beautiful animals –

2.Black Footed Ferret:

This is touted as an endangered species in North America which has fallen prey to hunting for years. However, captive breeding programs have alleviated the extinction to some extent now. Their main draw is the long slender body which measures up to 24 inches. These creatures spend most of their times in burrows.

3. Green Sea Turtle:

The large shell covers most of their body which have three colours, brown, black and grey consecutively.

4. Galapagos Penguin:

5. Iberian Lynx:

6. Lemur:

These creatures live in the high altitude of Himalyan region and beautiful to say the least. Their long bushy tail, reddish brown coat leave us enamoured completely. Loss of natural habitat and fragmentation are primary causes behind their extinction now. The Red Pandas weigh 4-6.2 kg and their long coat is meant for fighting the killer cold. They are nocturnal per se but spend most of their daytime sleeping on the branches.

Worse, they are often held accountable for abuses and violating the human rights. It brings us to assume that the system is dysfunctional and needs immediate improvement. This is awkward and shames us in the international forefront. Well, we can’t rule out all these accusations against them because some of them have connection to reality. But then again, there are instances when Police Officers belittled their lives to serve a bigger cause. Brave stories of some IPS officers have pumped up our blood always and here are some of them:

Vinod Kumar Chaubey:

While his stint as an IPS Officer in Chattisgarh, Vinod Kumar Chaubey unleashed an attack on the Naxals who murdered two police officers from his team. The predators were hurling bullets and grenades towards his team mates, but Chaubey sprang into a position as close as 10 metres from the naxals and fired which made them pull out from the gun-fight. He saved a dozen of his men along with a bus full of people who were stranded in the middle of the bloodbath. He ultimately succumbed to death being hurt by bullets.

Mohan Chand Sharma:

Mohan Chand Sharma was a respected police officer of Delhi police who died during an encounter with terrorists who carried out 2008 blasts at Batla house. He was unflinching in the battle and took bullets in his abdomen and died of the excessive blood loss however leaving the encounter successful.

Hemant Karkare:

On the fateful night of 26/11, Hemant Karkare rushed to the Shivaji Terminus to encounter Ajmal Kasab and his fellow terrorists. He was not even properly armed and was wearing just a helmet and bullet proof vest while Kasab and company came prepared with grenades and AK-47.

Ashok Kamte:

Ashok Kamte’s bravery is epitomised now as he rose as a hero in the dreadful night of 26/11. He was killed in the same night alongside Vijay Salaskar, Hemant Karkare being the only one who successfully planted a bullet in Ajmal Kasab’s body. He was posthumously rewarded Ashok Chakra on 26th January 2009 for his bravery.

Vijay Salaskar:

His character was later essayed by Nana Patekar in the movie 26/11. This fearsome encounter specialist became a household name in India after his brave encounter with the terrorists that night. He attacked the terrorist head on and sacrificed his life for us but left an example for the generations to come nonetheless.

K Prasad Babu:

He was an indispensable part of the elite Greyhounds special operations group of the Andhra Pradesh Police. He embarked on a gun-fight and killed 9 maoists with limited ammunition to save the lives of 4 commandos. He however became the first one to receive Ashok Chakra from the government.

Ajit Kumar Doval:

He excelled as a successful spy in Indian history and now overlooks the Intelligence Bureau. He was an undercover agent in Pakistan for 7 straight years and even disguised as an ISI agent during the 1980 Golden Temple siege to pass information to the army.

Shivdeep Waman Lande:

He was a nightmare for the criminals during his stint in Patna. He is the real world ‘Dabangg’ police officer who served there as an SP. He was the local Robinhood and respected by women as an elder brother for dealing with the predators in his own badass way. Of course, the corrupt politicians were repelled to his honesty and transferred him.

These are the examples of honest and awesome IPS officers who showed machismo and set goals.

This is the problem with indecisive people, no matter if you are selecting from the food menu or the prospective marital match, you are always weak on the knees before zeroing on one decision. You need constant approval from people and the strong winds of opinions only leave you all the more baffled. Worse, your indecisive nature sometimes leverages adverse outcomes. An indecisive person is actually too apprehensive about everything and always doing the probability sum in his head. Here are some pointers an indecisive person can completely relate to:

You can never be an agony-aunt:

You just cringe when someone asks for relationship advice or any solution to their personal problems. No matter how devotedly you hear their problems, when it comes to share your input your heart is numb.

You always avoid supermarkets:

Super markets are labyrinths for your where you lose yourself amidst so many options and end up buying the stuffs that you barely need. So, you always wait for the cooking oil to reach until the last drop before you rush to the local grocery shop for a new jar.

A sudden marriage invitation gives you cold feet:

You always need time to prepare because indecisive people tend to be a little lazy. There is so much to decide, from gift to your outfit, plus the budget. You can never think on your feet when a marriage invitation is received.

You hop in the next romantic interest sooner than others:

Different people have different qualities and you can’t have them all in a single person if he is not a custom-made robot. It is because you can never decide what you want; you shift your focus for transitory betterment.

You are an eloquent escapist:

You pick up arguments pretty fast before it’s the best way to avoid responsibility. Responsibilities drive you bonkers and you always need an escape route because you are not sure whether you will meet the expectation of people.

Every day is a struggle for indecisive people and they don’t understand source of their happiness.

There are people who are afflicted with white heads and they just refuse to go. White heads rise into prominence when the impure particles of the air pollution get stuck in the pores of the skin. There is another reason why it happens, the skin pores getting clogged by sebum and dead cells. Furthermore, when one has excessively oily skin, one falls prey to white heads instantaneously.

When our body goes through some hormonal changes, we are prone to develop white heads.

The colour is white because these reside inside the skin pores unlike the blackheads.

Here are some easy-peasy home remedies to cure your whiteheads:

Try hot steaming. It not only opens up the pores but also helps clean the impurities stuck in the pores. Take rolling boiled water in a container, keep your face above to let the steam spread all over your face and cover your head with a towel. Hold it for as long as you can and then repeat.

Try sugar scrubbing. Take some sugar, honey and lemon juice and apply it all over your face, especially in the T-zone and around the nose area. Let it sit for 4-5 minutes and rinse it off with cold water. Repeat this process for at least 2-3 times in a week.

Try using Besan (Pulse flour). Mix some besan, yogurt and haldi to make a thick paste. Apply it all over the affected area and let it sit for 4-5 minutes. Then clean off with cold water. Repeat this process for 2-3 times in a week for better results.

Sandalwood paste works like magic on white heads. Since time immemorial, it’s a beauty staple for ladies. So here we are, apply some sandalwood paste smeared with rose water over the affected area and leave it to dry for 4-5 minutes before cleaning it off.

Rice powder paste is also an effective solution for white heads. Rice powder is widely available in the market or you can make it in your home too. Mix some honey with the rice powder to make a thick paste and apply over the affected area. Leave it for 4-5 minutes before washing it off with cold water. Repeat this process for 2-3 times in a week.

These remedies are very effective in eradicating white heads. But you need to comply with the right methods and not lose hope soon.
