Youngisthan wants India to be a beggar free country.

We want each and everyone to spread this campaign so that they know and support us in this matter. Doing so will help Youngisthan’s dream come true and also yours.

Well, linking to the beggary in India, each one of us needs to know about how foreigners are stating that “India is a beggar’s country” and making fun of it.

Many years ago, we Indians used to be scared because in the entire world, India’s culture was being portrayed in a negative manner. Seriously, even the foreigners used to call India a snake-charmers country. But thankfully in 90’s, Indians proved themselves and changed the entire scenario and it became the image of software exporter. India is still working and always trying it’s best to be on top, but once again, it seems India is kind of desperate to have a black spot. Yes, that black spot is- “India is a beggar’s country”.

Nowadays, in the hearts of foreigners who visit India, they think that “With talent and Knowledge, India is also a beggar’s country”.

Right from India’s capital, our main cities and even in cultural sights, millions of tourist visits our country. The number of tourist visiting India is growing day-by-day, but on the other side, the number of beggars is growing too.

In the year 2011, there were almost 3.72 beggars in our country.

And let me tell you, that today the number of beggars has reached up to 7-8 lakhs. Few social institution reports state that 21 percent of the beggars are 12th fail. Shocking, right? I hope, you must’ve understood that, nowadays even the educated ones are taking “begging” as a career. Once back in 2011, in the Rajya Sabha, the government stated that, there are total 4, 13,670 beggars in the country right now. So, as compared to that, today the numbers of beggars have increased a lot.

When the foreigners visit various tourist destinations, they have to face and deal with a lot of beggars on the streets. And truthfully, when such incidences take place, the image of India completely changes in their mind. Like seriously, before coming to India, they come with a very positive thought but as soon as such incidents start taking place, it leaves ‘em all disappointed.

Not only this much, but because of beggars, Foreigners face a lot of troubles. Sometimes the way all the beggars come and surround, it scares ‘em a lot.

The beggars don’t let ‘em go ahead and it kind of becomes irritating. As soon as the one is gone, other is ready to surround them and take money. Such happenings make all the foreigners sad and thus, they go back with a bad image of India.

Some foreigners don’t even feel like coming back to India.

Seriously, if India becomes a beggar free country, then it’ll help a lot to improve the image of our country. And also, because of the tourist, India will have a lot of economic benefits.

Based on this matter, Youngisthan has taken an initiative and started a campaign.

This was the main reason why India is known as a beggar’s country. Well, we expect our readers to help us in this campaign and make our India beggar-free.

At last year’s Chakravyuh, we had 2011 Cricket World Cup Winner, Mr.Piyush Chawla as our ‘Chief Guest’ at the Opening Ceremony and for this year’s event we have raised the bar by having South African legend and Director of ESN, Mr.Jonty Rhodes to grace the Opening Ceremony. ESN or Evolution Sports Nutrition is one of the world leaders when it comes to sports nutrition. ESN was started to provide world class nutritional services in India and with the presence of Jonty Rhodes, it has become an even bigger name, worldwide.

2 – 72 hrs of non stop sports action- Chakravyuh holds the unique distinction of being one of the only sports fests which goes non-stop during the 3 days of the event. Also known as the Olympics of B-Schools, Chakravyuh has been the pioneer of sports fests in India for the last two decades which consistently generates a footfall of more than 8000. 8 exciting sporting events like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Tennis, and Throwball will take place non stop during the course of the event.

3 – Opportunity to interact with the entire B-School fraternity: Chakravyuh gives you a chance to battle and interact with 25 different teams from other top B Schools like FMS, MDI, IIFT, IIM’s etc and bond over sports. The full contingents from all the B-schools stay in the campus during the three days of the event and despite the rivalry, the atmosphere remains friendly.

4 – Association with corporates and amazing offers: Some of the best known corporates associate with Chakravyuh every year. Chakravyuh’18 has association with names like, BHIM as our Title Sponor, and ESN & Vodafone as our Co-Sponsors. We also have other big brands such as Sparx, Hotfut, Zebronics&Spykar as our associates for the event.

5 – Chance to beat IMT in their own den: IMT is known for its sporting culture with its students getting numerous laurels at various B-school fests and tournaments. Chakravyuh becomes even tougher as it takes place at IMT’s own den and beating them here is a monumental task.

6 – Cultural performances and events:

IB Dance Group

At the opening ceremony, apart from getting a chance to see Jonty Rhodes, cultural performances of renowned names like IB Dance Group, Fireworks show and Silhouette Squad will be giving an electrifying performance. Also at the second day of the Chakravyuh, there would be Zumba along with the much awaited Poker Night.

Atharva Foundation has put the best feet forward to welcome the ‘Real Unsung Heroes’ by organizing a program which is captioned as ‘One for all, all for one’. Atharva foundation is of the belief that empowering the smaller sections of the society leads to the overall growth of the nation.

This noble thought is slowly gaining momentum as they have gone the extra mile to recognize and felicitate Indian soldiers, who belittle their lives before their duty for the nation and its people. Our fearsome warriors have no qualms in laying down their lives to safeguard our interest, the national property and to give us peaceful sleep during the night while they freeze in the Siachen glacier, keeping a probing eye on the enemy.

After all, it takes a strong heart to volunteer for serving the country when they know that death is inevitable. The standout initiative is envisaged and conceptualized by Shri Sunil Rane, Chairman of Atharva Foundation. They have now come up with their new music video which features Sonu Nigam to reach out to the common masses because music can do what dry words can’t.

Sonu Nigam is one of the leading singers of the nation for his soul-stirring voice and years of contribution to Indian music. Sonu, apart from enriching the contemporary Bollywood music, some of which have become youth anthems, showed some serious singing chops in Indian Classical and left the nation doting on him.

This music video speaks volumes being a painful reminder of the predicaments our national heroes pass through. There have been many instances when their sacrifices were forgotten but we should acknowledge the fact that no sacrifice made for the interest of the nation should be forgotten, big or small. It’s not only the soldiers, but their families too condition their minds that their children may be martyred in the battlefield and yet they send them off to serve the motherland smilingly. No loss is as taxing as parents losing their child but the parents of our soldiers have set examples many times by even sending their second son to the battlefield after losing their firstborn while fighting for the nation.

This video also pays heartfelt tribute to the heroes like Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who died defending his country against the terrorists in 26/11 Mumbai attack, Colonel Niranjan Kumar, a member of NSG’s bomb-disposal squad, who died during defusing a grenade after the Pathankot terror attack, martyrs of Uri attack and many other likes of them through music.

Check out the music video here:

Our festivals bring joy alongside high energy.

This is the golden opportunity that we use this high energy to give higher pace to our campaign for Clean India.

As we make plan to complete our task of cleaning our home in given time similarly we have to carve a time bound plan to clean our village and town.

First of all we have to identify the corners or intersections where there is possibility of collecting waste or garbage the most frequently. After removing unnecessary weeds and garbage, that place may be decorated with floral or green plants. This would do the purpose of beautification of that most visited space. This would also help to reduce the chances of garbage at the same spot in future.

To clear the roads from dirt and waste material is significant. But more pertinent issue is not to allow the garbage being in open or collected there in an unruly manner.

Therefore it would be advisable that a dustbin is properly placed there. More important is to make sure that the waste material or garbage is not spread out of the dustbin. Better to have a dustbin above the ground level and with proper cover too.

To keep the space clean, the clearing up of the dustbin at regular intervals is essential. The clearing up can be done two times in a day, that’s morning and evening.

This is noteworthy that this big task to keep the space clean cannot be left to be done by the state government only. The units of local self governance have to contribute to achieve the goal of Clean India. And every citizen has to play a positive role to keep the cleanliness in her or his own capacity. We have to try to reduce the waste and garbage at our own level.

All citizens’s role begins with direction and supervision along side being awaken enough not to cause spread of garbage in open.

We are sure that our campaign to create clean spaces would be successful with blessings of elders. We want to spread our wings from home to villages and townships. We want to create model clean spaces to be replicated as soon as possible. We want these success stories to motioothers to keep their homes , mohallas, villages and townships clean.

We have to start cleaning from home – This would bring healthy life style and peace and prosperity to One and all.

This is eternal truth that nothing is extinct in this world. Everything just gets transformed. Like water evaporates and turns into cloud and comes back to earth as water in rain.

A piece of cloth used to make new dress is valuable till yesterday. While ironing it gets burnt and turns into part of dirt. Now nature would take its time to transform it into something else to make it useful again.

This is the cycle of nature running for centuries. There is no end of dirt inside the human body. One can spend whole life in purifying oneself still there is dirt in the body. At the end the remains are called body. Even close relatives become restless to cremate earliest possible.

True! Dirty things have to be disposed off as early as possible.

The question is who would do this difficult task. Who is helping us to get rid of dirt which comes around us.

The division of labour has decided various roles for different categories of people of society. There are people who do this dirty work for us to keep our space clean. This is the most sacred task yet they are standing at the lowest pedestal of social structures.

Just imagine for one second that without these people who Clean our space, how our world would have looked.

Just pile of garbage and dirt.

Even after so much cleaning procedures, still there is unending dirt and garbage.

The only reason is that we are creating too much waste material around. And we do not contribute to cleaning process as much as we should. And we do not pay due attention and respect to those who are doing cleaning work for us.

The first condition for the success of Clean India movement is that we accept the principle of dignity of labour in principle and spirit.

Every wise person knows that our body is meant for manual work too. To contribute in cleaning our space around wound keep us healthy for sure. This would be followed by next generation too. Keeping our own space clean or get it cleaned becomes sacred task in the eyes of those who know the significance of dignity of labour.

Anyone who clears dirt can never be someone to be victim of hatred.

This is the sacred duty of every citizen to recognise the contribution of those who are working hard to keep our space clean. They must be respected the most. This would be major contribution to the Yearlong Campaign for Clean India.

We shall talk about use of modern technology and essential equipment required in the process next week.

This is like spring cleaning of West. After monsoon every home has to be cleaned as to get rid of dampness.

There is yearly painting and polishing to be done in every house. Consequently small insects and other harmful bacteria vanishes with this process.

Diwali is festival of light and cleanliness – Many homes have new colour schemes with changed curtains or furnishings. Few buy new furniture. Many buy new sets of decorations. Every house looks absolutely new and clean. There is fragrance and happiness in the air. This is done by all irrespective of their economic status. Everyone makes an extra effort to have clean home and new decors. People visit each other’s house to wish them happy Diwali.

Yes this is party time. Lights and diyas make the decor complete.

Therefore this is the golden opportunity to realise the dream of Hon’ble Prime Minister better known as ‘Swapan sé sidhi tak’.

We just have to make sure that the Divine Mother Lakshmi comes to all on Diwali and stays there for whole year.

This is true that the Mother Divine Lakshmi comes to clean space only and stays on provided there is Clean space everywhere around. You must have seen shopkeepers cleaning their space every morning. This can be replicated in every household also.

This is sure that where there’s cleanliness, there is no disease. This hygienic habits and healthy lifestyle go hand in hand. Thus the cleaning of every house with a sincere effort would lead to disease free life. This can be done easily if we maintain the clean space done and achoon Diwali. We have to make sure that our streets and homes shall remain clean even after Diwali.

When we have clean space, there is much lesser chances for conflict. Thus there shall be no conflict. In other words there shall be harmony.

This is the basic mantra for happiness and prosperity.

To keep the Mother Laxmi happy, harmony is the basic condition.

Harmony at physical level established by cleanliness creates harmony in mind and breathing also.

This is the condition to make a call or offer prayer to Mother Lakshmi.

Lakshmi demands harmony in mind and soul, harmony in word and thought and harmony in Matter and mind too. To bring Lakshmi our permanent guest and turning her from friends to family , this is precondition for Lakshmi to have clean spaces.

Therefore let there be call for everlasting cleanliness on Diwali to have Lakshmi forever.

Let the movement for cleanliness started on Diwali be continued every day till last breath.

We wish that movement for cleanliness started before Diwali to be continued everyday here after. And may Grace of Lakshmi be with you today and forever. May there be courage and strength to cherish harmony attained on Diwali.

Diwali is festival of light and cleanliness – May blessings be showered by Maa Lakshmi upon every one on Diwali and all through year. We shall continue with the Yearlong Campaign of Youngisthan for cleanliness. This year Lakshmi would come to be with us in our clean homes all through year.

Happy Diwali!

This is a fundamental phenomenon that we live by our space-conscious mind. One tends to sleep comfortably in One’s own bed. And same person sleeps in train too making adjustment on narrow space of rail sleeper.

Our sub conscious mind works as guide. How do you feel at your working space/desk? How do you feel in your car or public transport?

Write down your experience please.

This becomes your gliding space to look back and make appropriate corrections. Open your diary and analyse whenever you feel uncomfortable somewhere. There may be some basic thing missing.

Have you ever looking for missing dustbin?

That’s the key point to clean India.

More people missing dustbin means cleaner India.

Yes! we need to inculcate the Habit of using dustbin naturally. The more we find children asking for dustbin at shops/ malls/ homes/ roads/ trains/buses/cars/parks/parking places/ lifts/ stairs/ mountains/ riversides/ by the banks of lakes/ beaches/ hospitals /clinics/restaurants/ chaatwalas or anywhere and everywhere.

This is basic necessity of civilised living style.

The smallest waste paper or peels of banana or groundnuts got to go to the dustbin straight way. There is no other alternative. Or you can carry back your garbage or waste material in your pocket/ handbag/ purse/ wallet or potli … choice is yours.

One thing is sure no space is free to absorb your garbage/ waste material or poo.

We all have to contribute to have bins everywhere. These bins got to be kept at such points which are quite central and easy to approach and access. This must carry well acquainted color/ symbol and at reasonable height.

The panchayat or municipal authority can play positive role in this direction. These authorities can raise funds for the same either by voluntary contribution or collecting fine imposed for such violations of rules and regulations which cause cluttering space.

We want to develop model clean space. That’s possible only when everyone is in Habit of using dustbin in a natural manner.

Let’s join hands to have bins on every road at the distance of not more than twenty five meters and at every corner of space used by civilised people.

Civilisations carry on for many centuries to come. We claim to be the most ancient civilisation which had best of irrigation and drainage system and definitely most efficient garbage management system now onwards.

Vani Subramanian commented on my link posted last Monday October 2, 2017:

‘The other day a shopkeeper in Sarojini Nagar market was throwing all the shop garbage on the road and I chided him for it especially since I saw a big garbage bin a few feet away. His answer was “utni door kaun jayega” “aur woh bahut Jaldi bhar Jaata hai”

So his solution is to throw the garbage at us customers walking on the road!!!!!’

This is an eye opener experience shared by our friend that there is no other solution to take up tough task in the most easy manner: let us inculcate ” Basic Habit to Use Bin” for sure by one and all.

Please share your experience and be valuable partner in ‘An Yearlong Campaign for Clean India.’

Looking forward to speaking on next Monday!

While the nation’s wheelhouse is to always look up to ideas brainstormed by the incumbent authority, brew storm in teacups over it and forget about it the next day, we need to raise alarm before it’s too late!

Our nature is in great jeopardy and we can’t relax.

In India, there are festivals that come in quick succession and Indians are always high on festivity. But the most significant time of the festive calendar is the time of Navratri and Dussera.

This time around, the Bengal and probably the whole nation celebrate Durga Puja. Now that the puja ends, organizers are prepping for the idol immersion. In the last leg of the festivities, when we immerse the idols, the nature bears the brunt of toxic clays and colours used to raise the idols, the river banks are piled up with wastes from the immersion teams, mostly plastic cups and chips packets. This one begs the question; does our nature truly deserve this scathing nonchalance from us? Perhaps not because what goes round comes around, it will come back as an igniter of the pollution corkscrew.

So, it’s time we have cut the adrenaline soaked enthusiasm a slack and adapt subtler ways to do the Visarjan. So, instead of polluting the rivers with the harmful clays and chemicals, we can build fake waterbodies to immerse the idols so that the plaster of Paris content in the idols doesn’t wreak havoc in the rivers. Rivers are the quintessential parts of nature to make any human civilization prosper. Besides, immersing Plaster of Paris idols in the water also reduces the oxygen level in the water that kills the fish and other aquatic organisms thereby perturbing the balance of ecology.

It’s a bellicose fight that all sensible individuals should put up against the malpractice and make all the nooks and crannies of Swachchh Bharat.

An Yearlong Campaign for Clean India

Gandhi set up model living and not floating ideas for his ideals. That’s how he had charismatic influence on Indian masses even today. Hon’ble Prime Minister launched the concept of clean India two years back. Things are changing slowly. This year we have programs called ‘ Sankalp sè sidhi’. Youngisthan is participating in this programme proactively.

Gandhian concept of cleanliness is not something to project that India is dirty or not clean. Gandhian cleanliness was meant to make India free from untouchables. Gandhi had wished for India to be free from scavengers. He decided to clean toilets at Sabarmati ashram himself. His wife and sons resisted yet he decided to set up model to be replicated.

Today’s government wants to make India free from poo in open areas and having villages with hundred percent toilets in every home in every village like the concept of model village to win an award under ‘Adarsh Gram Yojana’ floated earlier.

The concept of An Yearlong Clean India Campaign taken up by Youngisthan aims at setting up Model Space Clean in Regular manner naturally.

India has history of being piously pure.

We have routine of washing floors and mopping daily. We decorate the entrance of our homes with rangoli made of flour and turmeric powder and also colourful wooden powder and flowers. This feeds insects as well as keep them away from sacred space of our home.

Still why do we need An Yearlong Campaign for Clean India….?

We do clean our own space in the best possible manner and forget our social responsibility to keep Clean public spaces as well.

The challenge is to make people realise that as citizens we have sacred duty to keep clean our neighbourhood as well as our village and town.

Simply we are not suppose to clutter the public property with garbage.

The best thing we have in our culture is that we tend to recycle our waste for many centuries. We all remember our elders to keep gift rapping papers under the mattress to re-use. We sell old newspapers and cardboard boxes. We have people coming home to buy our waste material. We got utensils in exchange of old clothes and rags.

Shall we keep alive these best practices as tools to manage waste material in place of making piles to rotten stage to kill lives.

The basic lesson is not to leave our garbage or waste material unattended.

The question is not to Clean but how to meet standards of keeping clean.

The only answer is no more dirt around. That means there’s no one around to clean your garbage. Therefore leave no waste material behind. There’s need to reduce or recycle waste material as well.

Our mission at Youngisthan is Awareness and awakening for hygiene for holistic health.

Our goal on world toilet day on October 1 and Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 is to keep our spaces free from poo.

Our privilege is to be connected with young generations to pronounce and promote our An Yearlong Campaign for Clean India.

Yes, these people make a lot of money just by begging. Although India is known to have a huge population below poverty line, the act of begging here has become more of professional and systematic.

The flat owned by this man, being a beggar is worth Rs. 5 lakh. Apart from this, Krishna Kumar Gite lives with his brother and his brother handles all the money earned by him.

Malana also known as Massu is infamous for his clothes changing habits. Well, I must say begging requires skills and he is one among them! On an average, Malana earns 30-40 thousand per month by begging. He mostly begs in front of the high-end restaurants of Mumbai and owns property worth Rs. 30 lakh.

These are the richest beggars of India – Not only these beggars, but there are many other beggars who can make you feel poor by their monthly income. Now I believe, why it is said “begging is a rather profitable business to live a life in India”.

Every time and everywhere, on every traffic signal of India, you’ll see children begging for mere money and people snubbing them away. We often do think that these beggar children should not be doing the beggary and should be studying but have we ever wondered “Why”?

Well you might have or you might have not, these confessions by beggar children of India will make your blood boil and ache your heart to the maxim level.

Let’s take a sneak-peak into the dark world of one of the world’s fastest growing economical country, India.

Beggar children

I was 6 years old when I was kidnapped by a woman while I was playing in a park with my friends. I don’t exactly remember where I was taken to but that house was not a house to be precise but a shack. I was asked to bring money from the signals after they made me wear some other dirty clothes. I was scared at looking at other kids in the same condition as me and that’s when I knew my life has ended.

My life became unbearable after I was sold to a woman for five thousand rupees by my parents. The woman first used me forcefully as a prostitute then threw me on the road in that condition where I was wearing torn clothes and my face looked sick. She ordered me to get money for her no matter what source I get it from. She was very cruel I somehow ran away but I feel soulless from inside.

I was kidnapped by a man from near my house and he bought me to another man who tied me up with ropes on a bed which looked quite scary as it had blood all over it. There was a person who came to me with an injection and that’s the last thing I remember from that day. I woke up the other day on the same bed and saw one of my legs was missing from below the knee. I was crippled. They took my leg off so that I could get money after people felt pity on my condition. There are no humans left on earth I am sure about this now.

My mother died a few months ago and my father was a rickshaw-puller, he spent all his money on his liquor. I had a younger sister and I wanted to make sure that she studied properly so I took on begging in the day time and eventually became a part of the Indian prostitution market at the night hours. I spent all the money on her. I am just breathing the days of my life so that my sister can grow up properly.

These are 4 of the examples and confessions that were made by the beggar children below the age of 15 years from the begging streets of India. This is just the start as you get deeper into these harsh realities you’ll eventually know how dark and doomed the world is today. That world is something which we are unable to notice in spite of it being all around us.

On one hand, India is continuing to step with the developed countries, and on the other hand, beggary in this country is becoming a major problem.

However, now it is not a new thing in India.

If you take a look back at the pages of our History, then you will know that there were beggars in the past too.

But the format that is currently present today is entirely different. Earlier, the men who use to come out and beg used to do it on a purpose of gaining money to lead a life of devotion. But today the beggars shamelessly demands money while begging to fulfil their basic needs.

The increasing number of beggars in the society is not really surprising, nor is it unique. It seems that the country’s democratic system may inspire their growth. Due to the country’s capitalism policy, the poorer sections were left behind; therefore for a living they started begging on the streets.

According to the survey, after 1991, there was an increase in the number of beggars. This was a period of growing beggary problem, when capitalism was imposed on in the name of economic liberalization not only in India but everywhere else too.

While it motivated the rich people to earn more and more money, on the other side, there was greed in the minds of poor people.

The person who already had the money had no difficulty in collecting the luxury, whereas the poor people did not have much space to stay in this arrangement.

Well, because they neither had the capital, nor they had the technical efficiency which is the first condition of the capitalist system.

The path of country’s development increased, along with it boosted marketism, but still the number of beggars kept increasing. Although many attempts were made to stop this, but it didn’t really became a way of life, but instead in front of the society, it is became a form of new business.

This is the only reason why you will find beggars in big cities, who come here in search of employment from their respective villages.

As they didn’t had any new education to say in this system, nor any technical efficiency. For this reason, there is also a great reason behind the increase in the number of beggars.

According to the survey, there are nearly 200, ooo beggars in Delhi. If their income is noticed, then their estimated business is about Rs 215 Crore annually. This is just about Delhi, but you can easily find out the industry’s turnover in India itself.

In a developing country like India, this profession is encouraged due to lack of adequate employment. Well because, during the change of development, most of the hurdles are on the uneducated and unskilled people.

This is the root cause of the beggary problem. Perhaps this is the only reason why sometimes you see people who are educated but without jobs. That’s the only reason why many people do not hesitate to join any profession later due to tiredness.

Goa is going to become our country’s 1st beggar-free state. Goa’s Chief Minister “Manohar Parrikar” has initiated this bold step.

During the budget speech of the Goa government, he said in the Legislative Assembly that efforts will be taken to make Goa the 1st beggar-free state. If this takes place, then in the coming days, you will not see any beggar begging at Goa’s public places.

Let me tell you that not only Goa but the people of entire India believe that the Chief Minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar, is capable of making this dream come true. Because before this, he has carried out all the work that he has taken into his hands with great efficiency.

Make India Beggar Free –

It is not that the Chief Minister of Goa has declared this decision just for the sake of telling, but to make India beggar-free, he will 1st remove all the beggars from the street. It is not that they will catch these beggars and throw them, or they will lock them in prisons etc. In fact, the Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has a proper plan to bring out these beggars out of beggary problem.

Parrikar has also revealed this in the Goa Assembly. He said that the state government will make a complete rehabilitation centre for the beggars and rehabilitation centre for the penniless people so that they can be properly transformed.

It’s all because Parrikar is very well aware that if the government does not have any proper arrangement for their improvisation, then this will become hard for them to live. And thus in the end, they will be extremely forced to start begging again.

If there is any rigidity or forcefulness with them then the matter will go to the Human Rights Commission. In such cases, due to the question of livelihood, the court will not be able to make any decision in favor of the government. And in that situation, the government will take a break on this far-reaching plan.

That’s why, in order to remove these beggars from the street, it is very necessary that they should be given a permanent solution for their sickness.

It is worth mentioning that the number of beggars in Goa state is increasing day by day. Yes, despite being a high per capita income state, the number of beggars in Goa is increasing rapidly.

In this way, Goa is certainly going to be a beggar-free state. So now it’s time to resolve the root and the real cause of the problem. For this, the rest of the State should also take an initiative to make their state beggar-free.

Earlier, India was once known as the country of snakes and snake charmers, and today India is known to be the country of beggars.

In Fact, if there is poverty in India then being a beggar also seems to be quite perfect. But, the main problem here is that many so-called beggars decide to form a gang and thus beggary then becomes a profession and not a helpless act.

To see it with your own eyes, visit all the main tourist places of India once and observe how these gangs of beggars have occupied all the places there. In many places, these beggars who are involved into gangs have facility like pick and drop. Shocking, right?

So, now let me tell you about the things that can be done by Narendra Modi to make India beggar-free.

Check and Correction camp

In every state of the country, or in a state like Delhi, big camps should be made where the beggars must be kept locked. Later, these camp-oriented people must carefully try to improve these beggars and change their mind-set. Honestly, it is clearly impossible for these smart beggars to get improved within 1 year. Thus, these beggars must be given a proper treatment for years. In this time period, they must be taught about the importance of things like “self-respect”.

The government must teach them skills

These beggars must learn to do some work and that’s why they should be taught something. By involving them into business or elsewhere, they must be linked to some service. Until and unless these beggars don’t learn how to work, the beggars will never get out of beggary. The problem is big, so with great and proper thinking government must come up with a plan.

Gangs should be destroyed

These beggars highly have the support & power of gangs. These gangs are run by many large gang members from various cities. Beggar related gangs are never small. Such smart gangs can even handle all the crime related scenes across the state. In the day, all they do is begging, whereas in the night they turn out to be robbers and murderers. Thus, the gangs of these beggars should be eliminated as quickly as possible.

Police should not be involved into this

The brutal truth is that our police clearly know who is behind this gang of beggars. But, police officers who are hungry for money never take any action on them. So, honestly, police will never help to destroy this problem. Therefore, we believe that our Modi government can wipe out these gangs within just one month.

Plus, crimes will also end up to a great extent.

Ministry of beggar free India

If the Modi government wants to make India a beggar free country, then firstly a ministry should be formed and then the act of beggar free India should be prepared. First of all, the ministry will have to study the beggary problems from beginning to end. The work is not small as it seems, and if India actually becomes beggar-free, then the people of this country will remember Narendra Modi for years.

Make India Beggar-Free – >So in this way, India can be a beggar free country by these five essential steps. At the earliest, the government will be soon seen taking an action against the problem.

Narendra Modi’s central government scheme “Skill India Program” can play a important role in dealing with the growing problem of beggars in India.

Based on the figures of beggars in India, there are number of educated beggars living in the country. In India, there are approximately 78 thousand educated beggars begging on the streets. In this country, there are many beggars who have degree and diploma, other beggars also have a professional degree.

Many people reveal that they are begging, because they didn’t get any job. In the end, they decided to feed their stomach by begging on the streets. When once they started earning money without any hard-work, they got so used to it, that they made begging their Full-time business.

But if the government and the society come forward and join these people in Government’s Skill India Program, then a lot can be changed.

If they decide to link the graduates and post-graduate beggars, by involving them into doing work then it’ll be helpful.

Similarly, any professional holder who is now a beggar can also be linked to any employment by Skill India Program. The experts believe that it is not a difficult task to connect beggars with employable work in today’s era.

In this work, people of NGO’s and society can help government a lot. Well, because, if these people can easily offer them money, then they can also help these beggars to stand on their feet.

Also, they can help them by giving them work in their colonies according to the skill of mechanic and tailoring etc.

Thus, a positive step can be taken in order to make India beggar free by Skill India Program.

After-all, how long will we continue to criticise the government, society, and the education of this country regarding the problem of beggars? And, how long will we continue to promote this problem by providing regular donations to the poor in the name of virtuous?

Because, if we live in this assumption that these beggars are living their life by demanding money only because they are illiterate and helpless, then we are certainly thinking wrong. Thus, now the time has arrived where we really think that if people keep continuing donating then it will certainly prove out to be fatal for the country and society.

Thus, avoid giving them money.

It is about 6 o’clock in the morning.

Those who are coming to Delhi from outside are now catching up their own destination.

As soon as they sit in the bus, the crowd of Hijras come and surrounds them completely. This way, they arrive at the seats of each people sitting in the bus, and starts demanding high amount of money. Thus, this is how they all start to boss around people.

And then, in the name of beggary, they start their business of demanding money, and if someone refuses them then they start abusing openly.

This is how, in the wake of their fear and bossing, people give them money. The amount of money they mostly demand from each and every person is at-least Rs 5 or Rs 10. Thus, in within 3-4 minutes, they earn at-least Rs.100. After one ride, they tend to take other bus ride. In that bus too, this same scenario starts repeating.

Let me tell you that there are a considerable number of passengers coming out from here in the morning, and that’s why there are many buses too.

Some rides are either coming from outside to Delhi or either some are going out from Delhi. In short, there are many buses lined up. Thus, the Hijras take high advantage of this thing. In this way, they surround mostly the outsiders and ask them for money. In people’s case, they easily get scared because of Hijras bad behavior, and thus instead of engaging to stop them, they silently give them money.

This situation is not just only with the bus terminal’s people but with also the people on railway stations.

Eunuchs mostly have gangs of 10-12 people, and that’s the main reason why people don’t like to fight with them, and they don’t even complain about them to the police. There are many police out there, who don’t listen to such talks, and mostly many travelers think that its better to give them 5 rupees rather than wasting time complaining in the police station.

In the business of begging, their courage of bossing around people is increasing day-by-day. Trust me; from buses to trains, you will see them forcibly charging money in the name of begging.

Now that you know so much about their bossing technique, then it’s worth mentioning that two years back, in Pune Patna Express, one Eunuch (Hijra) pushed a passenger outside from the moving train only because he refused to give him money.

Socking, isn’t it?

Therefore, it is seen that the Hijras not just demands money near railway stations and buses but they indecently insult passengers when they don’t give them any money. Some are so indecent, that they start dancing naked. In such a situation, the passengers are forced to pay money. If people fearlessly decide to come forward and protest, then these Hijras insult, abuse, and beat them badly.

According to some Eunuchs, there are many who are not really Hijras. Yes, in reality, the boys dress up like Hijras, and then they tend to ask money from the passengers.

In this way, Hijras in begging business keep bossing around people on streets, buses, and railway stations.

What are your thoughts about Hijras in begging business? Let us know in the comment section below.

But, today what if I tell you that this woman is our country’s richest beggar? Yeah, you might think like “Beggar” and “Rich”. You might come up with this question too – Is this is a joke?

Richest Woman Beggar –

Well, let me clear it – This is indeed a reality and not a joke.

Patna’s Sarvatia Devi is one of the most famous beggars. Well, she’s not famous because she begs, but she is famous because she’s not just Bihar’s rich woman but she is India’s richest beggar. Hearing Sarvatia Devi’s name along with the term “beggar”, please do not think that she’s not smart enough. Because, even though she begs, she has impressed many people with her intelligence and maturity level.

You will be surprised to know that Sarvatia Devi pays Rs 36, 000 premium every year. This clearly indicates that she’s smart enough to know that if tomorrow she’s incapable of begging, then this money will help her out to live life.

Not only that, in future, to live life happily without any difficulty, she has already done all its arrangements too. In Patna, she owns a house. Let me tell you that this woman who begs mostly in trains has a property of nearly 10 Lakhs.

Similarly, there is another woman like Sarvatia who came into the limelight because of money. Her name is Rama Bai. Well, she is an old lady who lives on the street. But, she has no shortage of money at all.

She came into news when a thief stole her bag and ran away. Later when the police caught him and opened the bag, they were all surprised to see so much money in there.

In reality, there were 18 thousand coins in the bag which clearly indicated that she earns money through begging.

That’s why if you still think that beggars are just “poor beggars” then get away with it. Because, this thing that you’re about to read will literally blow your mind.

Similarly, there is another rich beggar like Sarvatia Devi and Rama Bai. His name is Bharat Jain. It is been said that this man is our country’s richest male beggar. He earns nearly 75,000 per month through begging.

He is not just a 75k earning beggar, but there’s so much more to his story. He lives in an apartment that is worth Rs. 80 Lakhs. He owns a shop too but instead of working there he is busy into begging scenario and thus he has lifted his own shop on rent. Every month, he earns more than Rs 10,000 as a monthly rent.

Once again, let me remind you, that there are many people out there who work nearly 10-12 hours and are still incapable to earn 2000-2500, whereas there are beggars who easily beg for about 8-10 hours and earn 2000-2500 easily.

That’s why, before it gets too late, change the perception of poor beggars in your mind.

What do you have to say about this richest woman beggar? Let us know in the comment section below.

By observing their helplessness and pitiable condition, many generous people often give them money from their own pockets. But, do you know, that the reality of begging is no more compulsion for the poor but now the educated ones have started making money out of it.

Yes, you read it right.

In 2011, according to a survey report, out of 3.75 million beggars on the streets, there were nearly 21 percent i.e. 75, 000 beggars found who were 12th pass. Also, some beggars were B-Tech pass and others had completed professional courses too.

Thus, to find out the amount earned by a beggar per day, a graduate of Delhi University decided to change his appearance and beg on the streets of Delhi. Every month, this graduate earns Rs 15, 000 working in a BPO, but the amount he earned during begging in a time period of nearly 2 hours left him stunned.

In just two hours, this so-called beggar earned Rs 200. Thus, you can imagine that if begging the whole day can fill a beggars pocket with Rs 1000, then it’s quite obvious that in one month he is earning nearly Rs 30, 000. Shocking, isn’t it? Well, this video of a graduate from Delhi University will force you to think that every beggar on street is not begging because of any helplessness but there are some educated people who dress up to earn money as well.

Here’s the video that’ll leave you stunned – Take a look and share it with your friends too.

That’s why you’ll see that the beggars in India will choose certain locations where people can easily give them money. Thus, these beggars always give more priority to colleges and hospitals.

These days, large numbers of beggars outside colleges and hospitals to beg. Because these beggars easily get high amount of money out there.

Also, this is because people in our country mostly believe a lot in God and prayers, and the people who are present in the hospital are mostly in some kind of a trouble.

At this time, such beggars come towards these troubled people and they say “Babuji, don’t worry”. The God is very kind. Have faith in God and everything will be alright. There is a power in prayer over medicine. Prayer can give life to dead ones as well. And during this time, the families of patients start thinking that maybe this beggar’s prayer will help them out. So, they easily give them high amount of money. And that’s how, beggars earn money. These beggars very well learn how to catch feelings of people in trouble.

That’s why, when people arrive at the hospital, they think that money is not everything in life. For this reason, people become emotional and then they tend to give more money to the beggars. Because of this reason, these days hospital seems to be the No.1 location for many beggars out there.

Similarly, beggars stand outside colleges as well. Well, near colleges too, these beggars earn money with very less effort. Nowadays the students who come here to learn are kind towards human’s emotions and that’s why they give money.

When an elderly, female or child beggars come near colleges and hospitals, then many people (students) feel that they might be hungry or are very poor in life, and due to this they might be finding difficulty in living life. So, the students give them money out of their pocket money thinking that less money won’t ruin their fun. Plus, they also think that giving them money will at-least bring a smile on their face.

Especially when they see a child begging outside the college, they think that if their parents were rich enough, then maybe this child would’ve been in school reading something knowledgeable.

Apart from that, I believe that you know that there are thousands of students in colleges and universities who take an education. Out of these students, if 100 students give them at-least 2 rupees, then they are free to spend day and night without worries.

This is the only reason why beggars turn towards colleges and hospitals to earn money.

Firstly, why do the beggars beg? Secondly, have you ever asked a beggar that if you offer him a particular job, then will he quit begging? Why Beggars Don’t Like Working ?

If you haven’t, then the next time when you give money to any beggars on street, don’t forget to just ask him this question.

In India, there are few people who are actually unable to work due to physical disorder and thus they are being forced to beg all the time.

But most importantly, even when everything is fine with some beggars, why do they beg? Well nowadays, people who are begging on the streets clearly don’t want to work in a good place. Trust me; if you ever tell them that you’ll give a job, then either they will back-answer you or they will run away.

These beggars beg because they easily get a lot of money by begging and that’s why they feel that there’s absolutely no need to take any physical pain, in order to earn money. You have mercy on these people and then you give them money, but these beggars spend it all on unwanted addicted things. In reality, these beggars don’t want to waste their life by working regularly. They don’t feel good to work hard each month. This is the main reason why the beggars prefer begging all the time.

I’m making this point clear once again, in India, there are very few beggars who helplessly choose to beg only because they’ve physical disorder.

According to the official data, the country’s capital has over 60,000 beggars. Further the reports states that at-least 90 percent of beggars came here from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Bihar states. Now when you look at these figures then you’ll notice that there are no beggars from Delhi but they came here only to beg. In reality, the fact is that some of these beggars were brought to Delhi for begging. The people, who are running the gang outside the states, are bringing beggars from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

In the country, India has total 3.72 million beggars. Out of these, approximately 79 thousand i.e. 21 percent are literates. When we discover further, it is more surprising to know that out of these 79 thousand, nearly 3,000 have technical or some professional diploma courses . Now, don’t you think that these educated ones can seek any governmental work?

But still, no matter what, these beggars prefer holding a bowl in hand rather than working respectfully.

The bitter truth is that these people are begging because we continuously give them money in the name of sympathy. And now, begging which started with total helplessness has become their business. By begging, when these people earn somewhat 20 to 30 or 15 to 20 thousand rupees, then the whole month they don’t feel like working at all.

That is why in this initiative of Youngisthan’s “Beggar-Free-India”, we are repeatedly saying that our country cannot be built until and unless, this illness of begging is completely removed. There is also a need to wake up beggar’s self-respect. We need to explain these people that the Constitution of India gives them the fundamental right to work and not to beg.

Well, if these people decide to stop begging, then it’ll be state and central government’s moral duty to provide them with employment.

This is the main reason behind why beggars don’t like working. Do you have any thoughts? Leave a comment below.
