In the same promo however, Kareena tells her Aitraaz co-star “Don’t forget your roots” after the Fashion actress said she didn’t know who Varun Dhawan is dating. Kareena jeeringly asked Priyanka, “ So, now you only know about Hollywood actors?”

Kareena didn’t stop there, in the quiz round, Karan asked Priyanka Chopra to name the first album of Jonas brothers where her husband Nick Jonas was a part. When Priyanka failed to answer the question, Kareena asked her “How can you not know?” to which Priyanka smilingly replied, “ Because I didn’t google him before I married him”.

Seems like the episode is really going to be a win-win for us viewers. Kareena and Priyanka further bonded over being proposed to in Greece. “Really?” when Kareena asked her. Further Kareena added that it was really crazy! Karan went on to poke Kareena for her wisecracks and asked whether she calls the paparazzi to click her pictures. Kareena replied, “I don’t need to; I am telling them don’t come please. I don’t have any more gym clothes. I only have pyjamas now.” Kareena can surely bring the house down!

Priyanka was asked about one milennial habit in which she could beat an 18 year old, Priyanka said, “Moving on”. According to Kunal Gir, Karan Johar’s workout sessions include pool workout. Karan Johar likes water so pool workout sessions work a lot. Plus, his workout sessions are short but yet, KJO manages to work hard in that particular time. Karan does cardio exercise for 6 minutes & even though the time is very short, like I said, he makes the most out of it.

DIET PLAN –

Karan Johar’s diet plan is very simple. Gir says “He responds better to high vegetable diet.” Karan isn’t exactly following the Keto diet but it is something similar to it. KJO Begged Two Actors – Yes, you’ve read it right.

There was at time when Bollywood’s popular director “Karan Johar” had to beg two megastars to convince them to act in his now HIT movie. There was a time when no actor or actress was saying “yes” to act in Karan Johar’s movie. It was certainly a hard time and Karan Johar went through a lot during that time.

If you’re thinking that Karan Johar never faced any problems while casting actors in his movie, then you’re certainly very-very wrong.

It all happened during “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.” Yes, 1998 blockbuster movie in which Kajol and SRK were in the lead role, whereas Rani was featured as a supporting actress, and Salman Khan had a guest appearance.

The movie surely became a hit, but Karan Johar literally had to beg Rani Mukherjee and Salman Khan.

In an interview, Karan Johar revealed that he had to beg them both to be a part of his debut directorial movie “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.”

Here’s what he said “I had a lot of trouble while casting Rani Mukherjee’s part in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I approached at-least 8 heroines and no one agreed. I had given a romantic narration but no one really responded to it. I BECAME LIKE A BEGGAR. It was Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan who suggested Karan Johar to cast Rani Mukherjee in the movie.

Not only that, “Even for Salman Khan’s part, I had to roam here and there. FINALLY it all happened. I had to literally beg Salman Khan and Rani Mukherjee to be on board.”

It was a tough time, and once jokingly Karan Johar also said that he thought of wearing a short skirt, and doing Rani’s role in the movie if no one does it.

And I can already see girls drooling over the hottest judge of all time in the history of television. Obviously one would miss seeing the Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit and ace choreographer Remo Dsouza but I am sure with the show line up it’s gonna be really big and the most happening season of Jhalak.

Based on the show contestants, host and judges, I am going to list down things you can expect from Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa this season.

Dostana of Tellywood Diva Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami

Don’t tell me you aren’t expecting this? We have seen Sanaya cheering and even dancing with Drashti in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6, now since Sanaya is participating in season 8, we all would love to see Drashti doing the same. It would surely be fun seeing these two friends again in the same frame. With Drashti a part of rival channel’s show, it might get difficult this time, but hey never say never. We don’t know what makers can come up with. Drashti had a long association with Colors and we are hoping for the sake of that we can see these beauties grooving together. What a sight that would be, don’t you think so?

Some Rapping Raftaar style!

You can’t just expect him to dance on the show. I am definitely expecting more than dancing from this rapper. I am sure he has to cope up with so many requests on the show and it won’t be just dancing. So make your rap list ready Mr Rapper!

Clash of the Titans

If you see most popular faces are in Jhalak this season. There is TV superstar Vivian Dsena at one side and you also have Most popular TV actress Sanaya Irani competing for the trophy this season. Then there is also Ashish Chowdhry who has a huge fan following today especially his Twamily. Well I can’t even imagine what this season gonna be like with so many popular faces competing in this season. Fans gonna have a tough time voting for their favourites.

Unlimited fun

With Funny man Manish Paul as the host, we can’t expect anything other than total madness on the show.  We will sadly miss his love for Madhuri on the show but we know the funny man has much more for us.

A new dostana!

With Shahid Kapoor making his television debut with Jhalak, there is not just some dancing we are expecting from him. We would love to see how Shahid bonds with his co judge Karan Johar on the show. It would be exciting to watch them together. Can we expect a new dostana? Only time will tell that!

With some amazing dancers like Scarlett Wilson, Faisal Khan and also Radhika Madan who worked as a dance instructor, we can expect some serious dancing on the show. It would be nice to see these amazing dancers to win over us by their dancing talent.

Rohit Shetty is one of the most successful Bollywood directors of the modern era. Most of his movies have earned massive profits putting him in the position where he sits today.

Nevertheless, he also cannot be forgiven for creating duds like Chennai Express and Bol Bachchan. These two films pissed off a certain section of the audience massively.

Rohit Shetty will remake Ram Lakhan

If recent news is anything to go by, Rohit Shetty has bought the rights to the 1989 film Ram Lakhan. Shetty is renowned for being one of the pranksters in Bollywood leading people into thinking if this remake news could be one of his pranks…but this is serious and might come to pass.

This is certainly a terrible headache for the classic movie-loving audience, the credit going to Shetty’s recent films that were not too critically successful.

Now, the director is known for his trademark which is blowing stuff up, especially cars. He somehow managed to rid that temptation for Bol Bachchan, but he recompensed the same for his subsequent films Chennai Express and Singham 2.

For the remake of Ram Lakhan, Shetty will be collaborating with Karan Johar. Karan Johar, on the other hand, is known for making family-centric movies and shoot scenes at overseas locations – two factors that contradict Shetty’s movie-making style.

One might wonder what’s too bad with Rohit Shetty directing a classic like Ram Lakhan. Well, for one, it is not his genre. Secondly, Shetty’s popularity lies in making comedy films, whereas Subhash Ghai’s Ram Lakhan though contains elements of comedy, overall, it is a revenge film.

Can Shetty pull this one off? Only the development stages of the film will tell us that.

Now we come to casting. As per rumours, Pakistani sensation Fawad Khan is likely to play Lakhan, which was originally played by Anil Kapoor. In addition, Sidharth Malhotra will play his cop brother Ram, a role that shot Jackie Shroff into limelight. The original female cast of Madhuri Dixit will be reprised by Alia Bhatt.

Ardent Bollywood lovers would have one question to ask – can these actors do justice to the characters assigned to them.

– ‘One Two Ka Four’ was a hit song back then and is still loved by the Indian audience for and in its originality. Can Fawad Khan match the steps as Anil Kapoor did back in 1989? (Besides that, accomplishing Anil Kapoor’s handlebar moustache will be a challenge, too.)

– Can Sidharth Malhotra pull off the hot cop look like Jackie Shroff?

– Can Alia Bhatt, who sports a cute and bubbly image in the industry, match the feistiness of Radha as Madhuri Dixit?

In all honesty, Rohit Shetty’s preference in making movies is totally different from what Ram Lakhan actually is. Will he be able to keep off from blowing up expensive cars in the remake or will he wittily incorporate the same in the film’s action scenes?

There are a lot of questions that need answering. No one, in the first place, would want to touch one such classic movie. But again, Bollywood has unfortunately diverted towards remaking movies than coming up with original screenplay.

We all know about the much hyped controversy of AIB Roast. Reports say that after the AIB Roast case Karan Johar decided to shelve the sex comedy.

Well there could be another reason of the male lead moving out of the project at the end moment.

But whatever the reason is, censor and audience reception is definitely a big factor to be considered before producing a film in India.

AIB Roast opened the door to a wider topic of discussion. Is India ready or receptive to sex jokes?

The sex comedy that was a joint venture of KJo’s Dharma Production and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms was reported last year. It was going to be directed by Sonam Nair.

India has very limited sex comedy films like ‘Kya Cool Hain Hum’, ‘Masti’, etc.

The audience response to adult comedy film ‘Delly Belly’ was superb. The track ‘Bhaag D K Bose’ became an instant hit.

It is very clear that Indian audience is definitely eager for films of the genre – sex comedy. But there are lots of people who think sex is against our culture.

The Censor Board had been a spoilsport to anything that talks sex. Even the word ‘virginity’ was censored in the film ‘Finding Fanny’.

It is strange of what passes the Censor Board and is gladly accepted by Indians.

We even had people from the film fraternity reacting, saying that the content of AIB Roast isn’t a part of our culture. Well sex isn’t new to Indian cinema; only the medium of conveying it changed over the years.

For people of 1980s and 1990s, let me remind you that the kind of content depicted in our movies then was much grave.

For example let us take a glimpse of this scene from the 1998 movie ‘Gunda’ starring Mithun Chakraborty. His sister is raped by Shakti Kapoor and he performed this act of crime after consuming  something called the ‘Vitamin sex’.

So if sex tablet is consumed to commit a crime then Censor Board, media and all the so-called protectors of ‘Indian culture’ don’t seem to have any problem. These very acts when shown for pleasure or as a joke, people ironically found them offensive!

If KJo’s sex comedy is scrapped because of the AIB Roast drama then seriously it is time we grow up.

Period!

We all love our daily morning Paranthas with butter or the Theplas or Idli-dosas and no matter how many times we have cooked it, a new person will always be around to tell us a new way of cooking the same dish. In such a scenario, it is not a surprise that another cookery show has been launched to cater to our taste buds and it is with a big twist!

Yes, we are talking about the new show on Colors, Farah Ki Daawat hosted by, as the name suggests, Farah Khan. This lady has been a choreographer, director, anchor, wife, mother and what not! There can be doubts about her talent in various roles she plays, but one thing is for sure that she is hugely talented and like a chameleon blends in with her environment and makes it her home.

Cookery shows normally talk about different recipes, but to find out the favourite dish of your favourite celebrity, from his own mouth and even learn how to make it is any fan’s dream come true. The basic concept of getting big Bollywood stars like Abhishek Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar etc to share their culinary skills with their fans is a novel idea and never been attempted before in the country. It is obvious the curiosity factor will make the sure a hit, at least in the beginning.

The first episode had Abhishek Bachchan sharing his views about food, his likes and dislikes and to watch him cook a dish would have been a treat for his fans.

Obviously there were a bit of hiccups as far as comfort and ease is concerned since it is not a talk show where they just sit and blabber about everything under the sun and the audience still finds it exciting to find these celebrities share their personal bits. To maintain audience’s interest even when you are chopping a vegetable or stirring something on the pot requires some skills. Won’t say that Abhishek failed, but there is room for improvement. May be other celebs will be more comfortable and smooth in their cooking-act!

As far as host Farah is concerned, she has proved her mettle as a judge on various shows and also recently hosted Bigg Boss Hall Bol. Her gift of the gab helps her to find way out of any tricky situation and bindaas attitude relates with the common man. No wonder, she is becoming a regular face on TV for all the big reality shows!
