There is no harm in eating meat what is bad is that one should not be addicted to it.

This is not our words, but latest reports gave us insight that if you eat meat on daily basis then it may reduce your life span. Researchers have come to the conclusion that vegetarians live longer for 4 years.

If you exclude meat from your diet incessantly for seventeen years, then you can expect to live for 3.6 years longer than meat eaters.

A study published in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association revealed that red and processed meat like bacon, sausage, salami, and ham are not good for health if you intake them on a daily basis.

Also, unprocessed red meat like pork, lamb, and beef increases mortality rates and has links to cardiovascular disease and ischemic heart disease.

” This data reinforces what we have known for so long — your diet has great potential to harm or heal,” said Brook shield Laurent, an assistant professor at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Apart from the fact that vegetarians live longer, there are some more benefits that vegetarians gain that prove why actually they outlive meat eaters:

Blood pressure issue

Studies show that vegetarians do have lower blood pressure on an average. So if you have high blood pressure you must include some veggies in your platter.

Fewer chances of heart diseases

One of the studies that were conducted in the year 2013 showcased that vegetarians were 32 percent less likely to develop heart diseases.

Lower risk of Cancer 

A vegetarian diet includes many nutrients that protect the body from developing a life taking disease like cancer as well. And the studies showed how vegans had the lowest risk of cancer especially breast cancer.

Lower risk of  Diabetes

Vegetarians can rejoice over another fact that there is lower risk for developing widespread life deadly disease called diabetes for them. So diabetics should include veggies in order to maintain weight and to improve blood sugar control.

 Less likely to be obese

Vegetarians tend to be slimmer than those who eat meat. They also enjoy the benefits of lower cholesterol and body mass index (BMI). Veg diet can bring your weight down and help to maintain weight as well.

In matter of few days, he made sure that a bamboo bridge is erected to connect both sides of nullah so that students can go safely and in healthier way.

Avinash Kubal has the best gift to Mumbai. He is and his team are ‘ Heroes Of Mumbai ‘ as they are responsible for developing and maintaining green cover which is spread across 37 acres.

This area in BKC, which is known as Maharashtra Nature Park, was used to dumping area. And now it’s a great place for nature lovers. The main idea was to conserve the eco system of Mumbai.

Dr Uday Modi, who is Ayurveda practitioner, offers free meals as well as medication to elderly people in Mira Bhayander area.

If a movie is based on a sensitive or debatable topic then it’s unlikely that it will be approved by the Central Board of Film Certification.

A lot of controversial Indian films were given no card from the Censor Board in the past. Many times film fraternity is left aghast by such bans on movies and documentaries.

Below is the list of ill fated movies from the last decade which never saw release in India due to the censor board.

1. Un freedom (2015)

Florida-based director Raj Amit Kumar made his directorial debut with this cult classic on homosexuality. The movie starred Adil Hussain and Victor Bannerjee as the main protagonists. This movie didn’t get the green signal for it was based on a controversial topic.

2. Gandu ( 2010)

Gandu is a bold monochrome Bangla movie by Kaushik Mukherjee. Censor Board did not allow the release of the movie as it had overt sexual scenes.

3. Dazed in Doon (2010)

Dazed in Doon is a movie crafted by Ashvin Kumar. The movie didn’t receive the censor certificate as it allegedly ‘spoils’ the name of the Doon School.

4. Kaum de here (2005)

The film chronicled the events of the assassination of the very famous leader, Indira Gandhi. And censor board didn’t allow its release as they felt that the film may cause communal tension in the country.

5. Hava Aney Dey a.k.a Let the wind blow (2004)

Partho Sen-Gupta’s film depicts the growing tension between the arch rival nations: Indian and Pakistan. Censor board suggested so many cuts that the movie was just left with 20 minutes!  So the director refused to accept these suggestions and this movie was never on 70 mm Screen.

6. Paanch (2002)

Paanch is an unreleased Indian crime thriller film loosely based on Joshi Abhyankar serial Murder case. The censor board objected the overt violent scenes and many other explicit depictions.

This shows how it’s difficult in India to get a certificate for any coming-of-age movies!
