World-famous players that are heroes in Indian cricket as fast pace bowlers and batsman.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-75159" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/sachin1-660x371.jpg" alt="cricketers of India 1" width="660" height="371" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/sachin1-660x371.jpg 660w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/sachin1-1000x563.jpg 1000w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/sachin1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/sachin1-970x546.jpg 970w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/sachin1.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px" /></p>
<p><strong>Sachin Tendulkar</strong></p>
<p>Indian cricket may really repeat this moment when honored as a man of the match, was not allowed to open the champagne bottle. Sachin Tendulkar stood not out at 119 at Old Trafford against England, he did not turn eighteen played with excellence in the maiden test in 1990. His first international century in his cricket career, he was honored with the unopened champagne bottle finally cherished with bottles of juices.</p>
<p>Not only a batsman but his history rests as a bowler, who has 154 wickets from the matches he played 453 matches. His shocking step in as bowler was in 1990, ODI against England, and in 1994 he won the first “Man of the match” as a bowler.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-75157" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/74157132-533x400.jpg" alt="" width="533" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/74157132-533x400.jpg 533w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/74157132-800x600.jpg 800w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/74157132-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/74157132-970x728.jpg 970w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/74157132.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px" /></p>
<p><strong>MS Dhoni</strong></p>
<p>The unforgettable match of India vs Zimbabwe was in 2005 when the partnership of Dhoni and Yuvraj pulled the match till the end to make 158 runs. Dhoni had an incredible run rate of 50 runs in 54 balls that remained not out till the end with six and 67 runs.</p>
<p>Not only a topmost Batsman in Indian cricket but the team could find a shoulder to rely on when he carried out his batting. &nbsp; The ODI match in 2006 with Pakistan has been a great achievement when the trophy was taken home from Lahore by series 4-1. At 31st over and India required 146 runs, Dhoni ended with four strikes on Sixes against Pakistan.</p>
<p><img class="size-full wp-image-75158 aligncenter" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/sunil-gavaskar.jpg" alt="cricketer of India 2" width="400" height="300"></p>
<p><strong>Sunil Gavaskar</strong></p>
<p>Memory flourishes when Sunil Gavaskar remains not out in the Test match of India vs West Indies of 1971. He made a century of 124 runs in the first innings of cricket while in the second he a strong pace against the West Indies with a total of 22 boundaries in the entire Innings.</p>
<p>Being a great Captain in the world championship in 1985 it was a year of victory for Indian cricket. India played and against Pakistan, England, and Australia. Under his leadership Ravi Shastri one of the Indian cricketers won the man of the match, brought home “Audi”.</p>
<p><img class="size-medium wp-image-75155 aligncenter" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Kapil-Dev-269x400.jpg" alt="" width="269" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Kapil-Dev-269x400.jpg 269w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Kapil-Dev.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px" /></p>
<p><strong>Kapil Dev</strong></p>
<p>The record was build in the history of Indian cricket Kapil Dev when he caught the wicket of Viv Richards, the outstanding batsman of West Indies. It was after the catch by Kapil Dev that India won the World cup in 1983.</p>
<p>Kapil Dev as fast bowler and the skipper had hit consecutive 4 sixes in Lords as a batsman in 1990, who brought home the first world cup in 1983.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-75160" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/71576189-533x400.jpg" alt="cricketers of india 4" width="533" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/71576189-533x400.jpg 533w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/71576189-800x600.jpg 800w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/71576189-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/71576189-970x728.jpg 970w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/71576189.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px" /></p>
<p><strong>Sourav Ganguly</strong></p>
<p>None of the cricketers of India had shown the courage of opening the Jersy to cherish the win of India on the ground of Lords against England in 2002. Yes, in the book of history few define it as courageous while few find it disgraceful.</p>
<p>Captain with the highest played ODI matches of 146 in a year, also holds the world record of 8227 in 176 Innings.&nbsp; No one can forget his first century in 1992, his debut match as a left-hand batsman for India.</p>
<p>Bold cricketers of India who have been the role players to lead the team to rank at the world’s top through their commitment and passion for cricket.</p>

<p>https://youtu.be/X4qPFgROiCc</p>
<p>It doesn’t matter how successful we become and how old we have grown, there are some friends who always stay close to our heart.</p>
<p>The most special bond that we get in our lives is that of our childhood friends who always stay with us from when we are nothing to something special.</p>
<p>We are sure you all have that special bond in your life and so does your favorite cricketer, <strong>MS Dhoni.</strong> Well, we all know how Mahi has some special friends inside the cricket team. But at the same time, he has that special childhood <strong>friendship</strong> bond in his life too with 2 of his old friends from Ranchi.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone wp-image-42663 size-full" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/ms-dhoni-no-1-yaari.jpg" alt="ms-dhoni-no-1-yaari" width="700" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/ms-dhoni-no-1-yaari.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/ms-dhoni-no-1-yaari-660x377.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>To strengthen that childhood bond and to share it with the world, Dhoni and his friends took time out of their schedules and made this short film with <a href="http://www.liveinstyle.com/mcdowells-no1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><strong>McDowell&#8217;s No1 Soda</strong></a> called #No1Yaari. McDowell&#8217;s No1 Soda has been celebrating the bond of <strong>brotherhood</strong> since a long time now and they have come up with some really heart touching videos with their song No1Yaari sung by Mohit Chauhan.</p>
<p>This time, they have made it even special by casting Dhoni and his real childhood friends in this oh so special short film. Though MS Dhoni has reached to the heights and is literally on top of this world, he has always remained stuck to his roots and still holds a special space for his two best friends.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-42659" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Dhoni-1.jpg" alt="dhoni-1" width="700" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Dhoni-1.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Dhoni-1-660x377.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>Like shown in the video, they still fight on those silly childhood things, tease each other in that same old way and are around each other through thick and thin.</p>
<p>As Dhoni said “<strong>A lot has changed over the years but one thing that has remained constant and by my side is my true friendship. Even though we are not able to meet each other very often, but whenever we do, we start from where we last left. Over the years this bond of brotherhood has only become stronger. This video by McDowell’s No1 Soda rebuilds our priceless moments and makes me cherish my yaari even more.”</strong></p>
<p><img class="alignnone wp-image-42664 size-full" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/new-dhoni-11.jpg" alt="MS Dhoni " width="700" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/new-dhoni-11.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/new-dhoni-11-660x377.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></p>
<p>MS Dhoni is an amazing man and he has proven it yet again by putting us in nostalgia through this video on his <strong><em>Asli yaari</em></strong><em>.</em> Because once you watch this video, you will also feel like calling your friends and planning a reunion soon. After all, if a man as busy as Dhoni has kept his friends so close to him, then why can’t we?</p>
<p>So, if you have such a special bond in your life too? Then McDowell&#8217;s No1 Soda is giving you a chance to meet MSD with your 2 yaars. All you have to do is tag your 2 best buddies under the<a href="https://www.facebook.com/McDowellsNo1/videos/775895522553433/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> Facebook video</a> and you 3 might get a chance to meet the Dhoni. And you may take some friendship lessons from him too, what say?</p>

<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-40516" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-3.jpg" alt="disha-patani-3" width="600" height="597" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-3.jpg 600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-3-402x400.jpg 402w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p><strong>5. Here is the sensuous picture from one of her shoots. As said, she is a model, you will see her Instagram filled with her shoot&#8217;s snaps.</strong></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-40517" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-4.jpg" alt="disha-patani-4" width="600" height="599" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-4.jpg 600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-4-401x400.jpg 401w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p><strong>6&#8230; She is bestowed with best of everything. From killer looks to career to love life. What will choke your throat is that she is just 23 !!!! Sigh.</strong></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-40515" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-1.jpg" alt="disha-patani-1" width="600" height="593" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-1.jpg 600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-1-405x400.jpg 405w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p><strong>7&#8230; Disha hails from Bareily and we think just like many small townies who has made splash in Bollywood, she will too make waves soon.</strong></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-40514" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/didha-patani-22.jpg" alt="disha-patani-22" width="600" height="337" /></p>
<p><strong>8. Her fashion sense is remarkable. Here is the picture that shows how glamorous she looks in both ethnic and western wear Don&#8217;t you agree?</strong></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-40520" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-fashion.jpg" alt="disha-patani-fashion" width="600" height="426" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-fashion.jpg 600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/disha-patani-fashion-563x400.jpg 563w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Her career graph coupled with her oomph, looks quite ideal journey. Will she make it big in Bollywood? Only time will tell.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong>  We thought he would do so in the movie which was partly based on his own car ‘Ferrari’ but no he didn’t. Even after Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s frequent requests, Sachin turned down the offer.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/ferrarikisawaari.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-28454" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/ferrarikisawaari.jpg" alt="ferrarikisawaari" width="650" height="415" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/ferrarikisawaari.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/ferrarikisawaari-627x400.jpg 627w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/ferrarikisawaari-95x60.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>3. </strong> A lot of movies have been made in the past and some real life cricketers have also been a part of those movies like Sunil Gavaskar appeared as himself in the movie &#8220;Malamaal&#8221; and Kapil Dev in the movie &#8216;Iqbal&#8217;. Even Anil Kumble too made a brief appearance in the movie “Mirabai – Not Out”.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Iqbal7.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-28455" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Iqbal7.jpg" alt="Iqbal7" width="650" height="408" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Iqbal7.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Iqbal7-637x400.jpg 637w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Iqbal7-95x60.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>4. </strong> In the movie ‘Muhjse Shaadi Karogi’ half of the Indian cricket team appeared in the climax. Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Mohammed Kaif, Ashish Nehra, Parthiv Patel and Javagal Srinath they all were seen cheering Salman Khan along with the cricketer and maverick commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Salman-Khan-biography-In-Mujhse-Shaadi-Karogi.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-28458" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Salman-Khan-biography-In-Mujhse-Shaadi-Karogi.jpg" alt="Salman-Khan-biography-In-Mujhse-Shaadi-Karogi" width="650" height="400" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>5.</strong>  Sachin Tendulkar himself also appeared along with Rahul Dravid, Zaheer Khan, Ravi Shastri and Yuvraj Singh in Raveena Tandon’s film ‘Stumped’. They collectively sent a message across in the film that they are not heroes but the soldiers fighting the war are the real heroes</p>
<p><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/sach-amir1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-28459" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/sach-amir1.jpg" alt="sach-amir1" width="650" height="367" /></a></p>
<p><strong>So what do you think about Sachin acting in a movie? Will he be as successful as a cricketer?</strong></p>

<p><strong>And now the players have all the more reasons to go and take a quick bite of that Jalebi because IPL is now being termed as “India Ka Tyohaar”.</strong></p>

Yes, this is in reference with the recent controversy involving MS Dhoni and Yograj Singh, Yuvraj Singh’s father.</p>
<p>This is the second time that the former Indian cricketer has lashed out at the current India and Chennai Super Kings skipper. This time around, Yograj has been harsher than on the first instance.</p>
<p>On both accounts, Yuvraj declined his involvement in this controversy claiming that he is on good terms with Dhoni. Nevertheless, today will definitely be an awkward instance when both individuals – Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni – take the field at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>It all began when the Indian captain and BCCI members met to select the 30-man probables list to represent India in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_27853" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/bcci-selection-committee1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27853" class="size-full wp-image-27853" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/bcci-selection-committee1.jpg" alt="The BCCI selection panel that shortlisted the 30-man probables for the Indian team during 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup" width="600" height="431" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27853" class="wp-caption-text">The BCCI selection panel that shortlisted the 30-man probables for the Indian team during 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup</p></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>&#8230;from which Yuvraj Singh was excluded</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_27854" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/yuvraj-singh-disappointed1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27854" class="size-full wp-image-27854" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/yuvraj-singh-disappointed1.jpg" alt="Yuvraj Singh was excluded from the 30-man probables list" width="600" height="333" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27854" class="wp-caption-text">Yuvraj Singh was excluded from the 30-man probables list</p></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Sports pundits and the general public together condemned BCCI’s decision to exclude Yuvraj Singh from cricket’s mega event. However, Yuvraj’s father, Yograj was very vocal about it</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_27855" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/yograj-singh.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27855" class="size-full wp-image-27855" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/yograj-singh.jpg" alt="Yograj Singh expressed displeasure towards BCCI's decision" width="600" height="334" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27855" class="wp-caption-text">Yograj Singh expressed displeasure towards BCCI&#8217;s decision</p></div>

<p><strong>Yograj cited Dhoni as being the main reason for his son’s exclusion of the squad for the World Cup, despite his good form in the Ranji Trophy</strong></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>His accusation, though not valid, was intriguing enough and forced people to question Dhoni as well as the BCCI on the related subject. After all, it was Dhoni and Yuvraj at the crease when India won the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup against Sri Lanka</strong></p>

<p><strong>With 70% of stadium tickets bought by Indians, Australia captain Michael Clarke was forced to send out an SOS Tweet to his fellow countrymen for support.</strong></p>

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>Former Australian pace bowler <strong>Brett Lee</strong> believes that the hosts will outperform the Asian team, in the process setting up the final clash against New Zealand.</p>
<p>However, with the Indian fans painting the Sydney Cricket Ground blue, MS Dhoni and his men will get the much-needed motivation to beat Australia in its own backyard. <strong>Rohit Sharma appeared confident before this important clash</strong>, as he spoke to the media, “Of course we can win, no question about it. We know how to play big games. Spinners have been vital, responsibility will be on openers.”</p>
<p><strong>India will rely on its openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan for a steady start</strong>, making batting simpler for the middle-order batsmen including Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina.</p>
<div id="attachment_26731" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sharma-dhawan.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26731" class="size-full wp-image-26731" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sharma-dhawan.jpg" alt="Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan's opening partnership will be crucial" width="600" height="339" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26731" class="wp-caption-text">Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan&#8217;s opening partnership will be crucial</p></div>
<p>Australia, on the other hand, would be confident playing at home and try hard to get one step closer to winning their fifth World Cup.</p>
<p>The Aussies bowling spearhead <strong>Mitchell Johnson</strong> has vowed to sledge Indian batsmen at the SCG tomorrow. The audience at the ground and the one watching from home can anticipate a few verbal spats between players of the two squads.</p>
<div id="attachment_26733" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Mitchell-Johnson.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26733" class="size-full wp-image-26733" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Mitchell-Johnson.jpg" alt="Mitchell Johnson said he would take up sledging against Indian players" width="600" height="382" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Mitchell-Johnson.jpg 550w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Mitchell-Johnson-95x60.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26733" class="wp-caption-text">Mitchell Johnson said he would take up sledging against Indian players</p></div>
<p>It was the recently concluded tri-series when Australian opening batsman David Warner engaged in a verbal duel with India’s Rohit Sharma during an ODI match, for which he was penalised by the ICC. The outcome of it was Warner keeping out of any kind of heated verbal interacting with his opponents. This was when Mitchell Johnson put his hand up saying he won’t withhold from exchanging heated words.</p>
<p>India, too, are said to be fine with sledging during the match, but vowed to not cross the line.</p>
<p>Former Australian pace bowler Stuart Clarke has predicted <strong>Ravichandran Ashwin</strong> as being the most difficult man to tackle for Australia in tomorrow’s bout against India.</p>
<div id="attachment_26736" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/r-ashwin.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26736" class="size-full wp-image-26736" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/r-ashwin.jpg" alt="Ravichandran Ashwin's 10 overs against Australia would be crucial" width="600" height="339" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26736" class="wp-caption-text">Ravichandran Ashwin&#8217;s 10 overs against Australia would be crucial</p></div>
<p>After its win against Bangladesh in the quarter-finals, India successfully managed to bowl out an opponent for the seventh consecutive match. Indian bowlers would be looking to take the tally to number eight tomorrow against one of their bitter rivals.</p>
<p><strong>The Australian opening pair of Aaron Finch and David Warner has not performed at its best potential</strong>, which would be a plus side for India. Nevertheless, their middle-order batting has risen to the occasion whenever needed and getting them out would be the key.</p>
<div id="attachment_26737" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/warner-finch.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26737" class="size-full wp-image-26737" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/warner-finch.jpg" alt="Australian opening partnership of Aaron Finch and David Warner has not really clicked" width="600" height="338" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26737" class="wp-caption-text">Australian opening partnership of Aaron Finch and David Warner has not really clicked</p></div>
<p><strong>India’s pace attack comprising Mohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami possess the ability to get ten wickets and they have shown it in the prior seven occasions</strong>. Knowing whether they would be able to repeat the feat tomorrow will have to wait.</p>
<p>Though Australia, as hosts and a much superior team as compared to India, looks likely to win this match, India will definitely put up a strong fight and hope to retain the World Cup for the first time.</p>

<p>Where team India carries a weight of expectations to retain the most coveted trophy in cricket, Bangladesh have nothing to lose.</p>
<p>Bangladesh is known to be fearless on the cricket field, an attitude that has helped them beat bigger teams on different instances, including India in the 2007 ICC World Cup.</p>
<p><strong>Since making its ODI debut in 1986, Bangladesh has only 88 victories to show on their record which is far less as compared to India (443).</strong></p>

<p>India is one of the most scrutinised teams in the world of cricket, but they would not be breaking a sweat until the match eventually begins on Thursday. Their calmness could be seen in the way the Indian players, instead of knocking the ball in the nets, played a casual game of football at the MCG.</p>
<p>Nevertheless, India will not be taking their opponent lightly. <strong>MS Dhoni is the only member of this current team who was part of the squad that lost to Bangladesh in India’s opening game against Bangladesh in the 2007 World Cup.</strong></p>

<p>Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusingha appeared hopeful while talking to the media, as he was quoted as saying, “India are playing very good cricket. But we will only analyze our strengths compared to India&#8217;s. The team that enjoys (out there) will have a better game. We should embrace the opportunity presented (to us) and enjoy the situation. For us, there&#8217;s nothing to prove as we are good enough and that&#8217;s why we are here.”</p>
<p><strong>India has a very good reason to not see Bangladesh as a dangerous opponent because of the 25-3 victory ratio. But they would play cautiously when they take the field tomorrow.</strong></p>
<p>MS Dhoni, while speaking to the media after the final Pool game, talked about whether or not they were in pressure.</p>
<div id="attachment_26175" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ms-dhoni1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26175" class="size-full wp-image-26175" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ms-dhoni1.jpg" alt="India captain MS Dhoni" width="600" height="429" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ms-dhoni1.jpg 734w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ms-dhoni1-559x400.jpg 559w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26175" class="wp-caption-text">India captain MS Dhoni</p></div>
<p>“Irrespective of which team we play or which tournament we play, we are under pressure. The good thing, the boys are quite used to it. Once a few times there have been instances where we are down, but from that position, also, we have come back strongly and we have done well.”</p>
<p>Bangladesh are renowned to beat the biggest team in cricket on their best day; every Indian would hope that India does not appear smug, as it might backfire big time.</p>

<p>Where India has expertly outplayed every opponent in this edition of their World Cup, it cannot be said that Zimbabwe was terrible; they just could not get the job done.</p>
<p>Zimbabwe has won just one match out of five and that too against UAE. They could have won two other matches – against Pakistan and Ireland – but destiny had other plans. India, on the other hand, has maintained an unbeaten record with five wins out of five matches.</p>
<p><strong>Team Form</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_25734" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/team-zimbabwe.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25734" class="size-full wp-image-25734" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/team-zimbabwe.jpg" alt="Zimbabwe has only won one match out of five" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/team-zimbabwe.jpg 630w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/team-zimbabwe-600x400.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25734" class="wp-caption-text">Zimbabwe has only won one match out of five</p></div>
<p>No one expected India to perform as well as they have done in the 2015 Cricket World Cup. Though they suffered a few glitches in the last two matches against West Indies and Ireland, they did have easy victories over Pakistan, South Africa and United Arab Emirates. India’s bowling, especially, has clicked well resulting in massive victories over their opponents.</p>
<p>Zimbabwe, on the other hand, has achieved just one victory and lost their matches against South Africa, West Indies, Pakistan and Ireland. Though Zimbabwe’s batting has been commendable, their ability to chase down the set target has been a major letdown.</p>
<p><strong>Head-to-Head</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_25735" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/India-vs-Zimbabwe-2015-Cricket-World-Cup-Match.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25735" class="size-full wp-image-25735" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/India-vs-Zimbabwe-2015-Cricket-World-Cup-Match.jpg" alt="India have a 3-1 edge over Zimbabwe" width="600" height="450" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/India-vs-Zimbabwe-2015-Cricket-World-Cup-Match.jpg 1024w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/India-vs-Zimbabwe-2015-Cricket-World-Cup-Match-533x400.jpg 533w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/India-vs-Zimbabwe-2015-Cricket-World-Cup-Match-800x600.jpg 800w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25735" class="wp-caption-text">India have a 3-1 edge over Zimbabwe</p></div>
<p>India and Zimbabwe have faced each other in the World Cups a total of four times with the former having 3-1 edge. India’s only World Cup defeat against their African opponent came during the 1999 edition where they lost by 3 runs. The last time the two teams met was in the 2003 edition of the World Cup where India won by 83 runs.</p>
<p><strong>The Teams</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_25733" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/the-team.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25733" class="size-full wp-image-25733" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/the-team.jpg" alt="MS Dhoni would like to try India's bench strength" width="600" height="343" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/the-team.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/the-team-660x377.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25733" class="wp-caption-text">MS Dhoni would like to try India&#8217;s bench strength</p></div>
<p>With India having already qualified for the quarter-finals and expected to win this bout against Zimbabwe, MS Dhoni would want to try his team’s bench strength. The bowlers have done a good job and need to get a well-deserved rest. This is where players like Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Stuart Binny can let their worth known. Zimbabwe would be playing for pride, being knocked out of the tournament already. Though Elton Chigumbura’s fitness status is not fully known at the moment, in case he is 100% for tomorrow’s match, Regis Chakabva might make way for him.</p>
<p><strong>The Location</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_25736" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Eden-Park.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25736" class="size-full wp-image-25736" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Eden-Park.jpg" alt="India and Zimbabwe will play their match at Eden Park, Auckland" width="600" height="318" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25736" class="wp-caption-text">India and Zimbabwe will play their match at Eden Park, Auckland</p></div>
<p>New Zealand is known for having small stadiums, but Eden Park has the largest stadium that the country has to offer. Though India has not consistently won matches in New Zealand, they would be positive of a win tomorrow considering the form they have been in.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">MS Dhoni was at his wittiest best behind the stumps, as all the ‘wisdom’ he passed on to his teammates were caught on the mic.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">In the 14th over, when Jadeja was hit for a four, which was followed by a short-pitched delivery that was defended by Irish captain William Porterfield. Niall O’Brien was batting with Suresh Raina as the bowler. Dhoni advised Mohammed Shami, “Ye waala peeche khada ho jaayega, udhar maarne ke liye”. Unfortunately, his advice fell on deaf ears and the next ball was hit for four in a similar fashion.</span></p>

They not only defeated the European giants, but knocked them out of the tournament.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">India vs Bangladesh seems likely in the quarter-finals of the tournament, but only if India beats Ireland in their bout today. If India manages to beat Ireland, they will face Bangladesh at Wellington on March 21.</span></p>
<div id="attachment_25367" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-bangladesh.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25367" class="size-full wp-image-25367" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-bangladesh.jpg" alt="India and Bangladesh are likely to face each other in quarter-finals" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-bangladesh.jpg 640w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-bangladesh-600x400.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25367" class="wp-caption-text">India and Bangladesh are likely to face each other in quarter-finals</p></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">England’s defeat yesterday would have definitely brought a smile on India’s face, for if it were not for that result India would possibly face England in the quarter-finals.</span></p>
<div id="attachment_25364" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25364" class="wp-image-25364 size-full" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-vs-england-cricket-match.jpg" alt="Bangladesh beat England by 15 runs" width="600" height="465" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-vs-england-cricket-match.jpg 550w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-vs-england-cricket-match-516x400.jpg 516w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><p id="caption-attachment-25364" class="wp-caption-text">Bangladesh beat England by 15 runs</p></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">Batting first, Bangladesh scored 275, thanks to a century score from Mahmadullah (103) and half-century by Mushfiqur Rahim (89). England’s two top scorers were Jos Butler and Ian Bell, who scored 65 and 63, respectively. Eventually, England was bundled out for 260 runs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">India will be wary about giant-killers Ireland. Their medium pace bowling, especially, is accurate and could cause the Indian batting line-up trouble.</span></p>
<div id="attachment_25368" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-ireland.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25368" class="size-full wp-image-25368" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-ireland.jpg" alt="India vs Ireland" width="600" height="450" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-ireland.jpg 600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-ireland-533x400.jpg 533w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25368" class="wp-caption-text">India vs Ireland</p></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">Indian batting legend Sunil Gavaskar had a word of caution for India before their match. “Batsmen have to be careful in New Zealand. The ball will move in the air and off the pitch. India need to tighten up their batting. They should play every match like a final from now on”, Gavaskar said.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">MS Dhoni, on the other hand, has a chance of overtaking Sourav Ganguly’s record of successive World Cup match wins (8 wins tied between the two). After beating the West Indies last Friday, Dhoni became India’s most successful overseas ODI captain (59 wins).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">Bangladesh, too, are renowned for handing crushing defeats to their opponents at cricket’s most coveted tournament. It was in 2007 when Bangladesh beat India in the first match, which eventually played a crucial role in the latter being knocked out of the tournament early.</span></p>
<div id="attachment_25374" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-celebrates.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25374" class="size-full wp-image-25374" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-celebrates.jpg" alt="Bangladesh players celebrating their victory against England" width="600" height="338" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-celebrates.jpg 1920w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-celebrates-660x371.jpg 660w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-celebrates-1000x563.jpg 1000w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25374" class="wp-caption-text">Bangladesh players celebrating their victory against England</p></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">This is the first time for Bangladesh entering the quarter-finals. They are likely to face the subcontinent giants India provided they finish fourth in the Group A table and India remain on top in Group B.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">The celebration after victory against England was a sight to witness. Even the crowd went berserk, as instantaneous victory processions transpired in New Zealand as well as in the home country of Bangladesh.</span></p>
<div id="attachment_25365" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-cricket-fans.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25365" class="size-full wp-image-25365" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/bangladesh-cricket-fans.jpg" alt="Bangladesh fans celebrating their victory against England" width="600" height="356" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25365" class="wp-caption-text">Bangladesh fans celebrating their victory against England</p></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">The Tigers, at present, sit at the third sport in the points table. With their last match to be played against the in-form New Zealand, their chances of losing the match seem high. This would push them to the fourth spot setting up their clash against India in the quarter-finals.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">It would be fair to say that Ireland has not been a consistent team, but they have not let go of the habit of disappointing Full Members. They have already beaten West Indies and Zimbabwe in this edition.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><b><span lang="EN-GB">Head to Head</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">India and Ireland have faced once earlier (2011 ICC World Cup), where the team from the subcontinent convincingly beat their European rival.</span></p>
<div id="attachment_25286" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-reland-2011.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25286" class="size-full wp-image-25286" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-reland-2011.jpg" alt="India are 1-0 against Ireland" width="600" height="321" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-reland-2011.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/india-vs-reland-2011-660x354.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25286" class="wp-caption-text">India are 1-0 against Ireland</p></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><b><span lang="EN-GB">The Teams</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">Though Ireland&#8217;s team, more or less, looks the same since the two teams last met, Team India’s look is different. The young guns would be aware about their rival’s habit of defeating top teams and will want to give their best shot.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">“I don’t think their guard will ever be down and they’re not going to look to lose any momentum from their point of view. Whatever they decide to do is out of our control”, said Ireland captain William Porterfield.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><b><span lang="EN-GB">The Location</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">One of the things that will be different for India on Tuesday is the pitch. They will be playing their first match in New Zealand in this World Cup edition with all their matches so far been played in Australia. Ireland though did play West Indies in their opening game at Saxton Oval, Nelson in New Zealand.</span></p>
<div id="attachment_25288" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Seddon-Park.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25288" class="size-full wp-image-25288" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Seddon-Park.jpg" alt="India will play their first match in New Zealand in this World Cup" width="600" height="353" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25288" class="wp-caption-text">India will play their first match in New Zealand in this World Cup</p></div>
<p><b><span lang="EN-GB">Prediction</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">Ireland are clearly the underdogs in this match. Though India has a new team, they have displayed their prowess in all their four matches. India is likely to win this match.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">However, if the game is washed out, both teams share one point each and Ireland enters the quarter-finals. This will mean Pakistan beating Ireland in their next meet or having a better NRR than West Indies to qualify.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">If either Pakistan vs. Ireland or UAE vs. West Indies gets washed out, the team from the Caribbean will be knocked out of the tournament.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">Even before the match began, the experts predicted the game to be not a high-scoring one, for the WACA pitch is considered as one of the quickest and bounciest tracks in the world.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">For the West Indies to score big, Chris Gayle had to be in top form. <p>While we are discussing firecrackers, have you seen the ad poking fun at India for not having won a single game against the African giants in the World Cups?</p>
<p><iframe title="Mauka Mauka (India vs South Africa) - ICC Cricket World Cup 2015" width="970" height="546" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nDN5_Negbkw?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>Yes, it’s true. <strong>India may have won the World Cup, but they have never beaten a team that is disreputable for falling apart under trying situations.</strong></p>
<p>India and South Africa meet face each other for the fourth time in the World Cups this Sunday.</p>
<div id="attachment_24384" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/india-vs-south-africa.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24384" class="size-full wp-image-24384" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/india-vs-south-africa.jpg" alt="India face South Africa for the fourth time in World CupsIndia face South Africa for the fourth time in World Cups" width="600" height="360" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/india-vs-south-africa.jpg 800w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/india-vs-south-africa-250x150.jpg 250w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/india-vs-south-africa-660x396.jpg 660w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/india-vs-south-africa-400x240.jpg 400w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24384" class="wp-caption-text">India face South Africa for the fourth time in World Cups</p></div>
<p>Both teams have met on three occasions – 1992, 1996 and 2011 – with South Africa proving formidable every single time.</p>
<p><em>There’s no question that India looked at its prime against arch-rivals Pakistan while handing them a 76-run defeat last Sunday. South Africa, on the other hand, faced Zimbabwe beating them convincingly by 62 runs.</em></p>
<p>India’s batting line-up, after a long time, looked steady with <strong>Shikhar Dhawan</strong>, <strong>Virat Kohli</strong> and <strong>Suresh Raina</strong> scoring big runs. Though South Africa’s top-order did appear vulnerable against their African counterparts, it could be brushed off as a one-time bad experience.</p>
<div id="attachment_24385" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/team-india.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24385" class="size-full wp-image-24385" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/team-india.jpg" alt="India will be keen on beating South Africa for the first time in World Cups" width="600" height="339" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24385" class="wp-caption-text">India will be keen on beating South Africa for the first time in World Cups</p></div>
<p>It was good to see India’s bowling come to the party for once as it bundled out Pakistan for just 224 runs. While chasing the mammoth total set by South Africa, Zimbabwe did manage to score 277.</p>
<p>This Sunday, the competition will be against Indian batsmen and South African bowlers. South African bowling will be led by <strong>Dale Steyn</strong> and <strong>Morne Morkel</strong>, two of the fiercest pace bowlers in modern day cricket.</p>
<div id="attachment_24386" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/team-sa.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24386" class="size-full wp-image-24386" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/team-sa.jpg" alt="South Africa would like to keep their unbeaten record against India" width="600" height="356" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24386" class="wp-caption-text">South Africa would like to keep their unbeaten record against India</p></div>
<p>While India and South Africa will be competing, all eyes will be on <em>Gary Kirsten</em>, former India coach under whom team India won the World Cup in 2011. Kirsten, who joined South Africa as a consultant, will like to play a key part in his team winning cricket’s most coveted prize this year.</p>
<p>One of the interesting facts about South Africa in World Cups is that they have faced a fate bad than worse after defeating India every single time.</p>
<div id="attachment_24383" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/sa-vs-england-1992-scorecard.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24383" class="size-full wp-image-24383" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/sa-vs-england-1992-scorecard.jpg" alt="Rain saved England against South Africa at the 1992 World Cup" width="600" height="360" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/sa-vs-england-1992-scorecard.jpg 460w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/sa-vs-england-1992-scorecard-250x150.jpg 250w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/sa-vs-england-1992-scorecard-400x240.jpg 400w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24383" class="wp-caption-text">Rain saved England against South Africa at the 1992 World Cup</p></div>
<p>Would history repeat itself or will India beat South Africa, in the process, altering the latter’s “jinx” at the World Cups?</p>
<p>Regardless, a huge crowd is expected at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the 22nd of February. India vs South Africa will be a contest that will keep you wanting for more.</p>

One of the questions that most Indians asked is who would emulate Singh’s role in this year’s World Cup.</p>
<p><strong>Well, one candidate has stepped up expressing the same desire and his name is Suresh Raina.</strong></p>

<p>While speaking to bcci.tv, the Indian middle-order batsman said, “I want to play Yuvraj Singh&#8217;s role in this World Cup. I want to field, bowl and bat well”.</p>
<p>The 28-year-old southpaw displayed his dominance in India’s opener against arch-rivals Pakistan last Sunday. His worthy score of <strong>74 runs off 56 deliveries helped India register the total of 300 runs, eventually helping his team win by a margin of 76 runs.</strong></p>

<p>Raina claims to have looked up to Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni as inspirations. “I observed Yuvi and saw how he used to finish games for the side”.</p>
<p>No one has ever questioned Raina’s ability to score big runs during crunch situations. He can also come in handy with his off-spin and carries agility of a leopard while fielding.</p>
<p>Prior to the World Cup, India played in a forgettable tour against Australia. A win in the opening match of the biggest cricket tournament, however, would have definitely given India the much-needed boost to go all the way and retain the trophy.</p>
<p><strong>The victory against Pakistan gave India an impressive lead of 6-0 in the World Cups.</strong> Raina talked about every match against the arch-rivals being a high pressure one hoping to maintain the unbeaten record against them.</p>

<p>Suresh Raina has started the World Cup campaign on a perfect note. India captain MS Dhoni was all praises for the left-handed batsman after his innings against Pakistan.</p>
<p><strong>India’s next match is against South Africa on 22nd February</strong> where they will try to combat a malicious bowling attack that includes Dale Steyn. <strong>India have never beaten South Africa in World Cups</strong>, but with the current form that Suresh Raina and team India are in, the tides might finally change.</p>

<p>No, we are not talking about corruption and exploitation, but actual politics.</p>
<p>Indian cricket and politics are somehow connected, especially in regards to the newly elected Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.</p>
<div id="attachment_23799" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Arvind-Kejriwal.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23799" class="size-full wp-image-23799" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Arvind-Kejriwal.jpg" alt="arvind kejriwal" width="600" height="425" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Arvind-Kejriwal.jpg 1600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Arvind-Kejriwal-565x400.jpg 565w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Arvind-Kejriwal-848x600.jpg 848w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23799" class="wp-caption-text">Arvind Kejriwal is the newly elected Chief Minister of Delhi</p></div>
<p>Indians would remember how Kejriwal defeated Sheila Dixit in the 2013 Delhi Assembly election to take office as the Chief Minister in December that year. He is also infamous for resigning after just 49 days from his post due to the government’s failure to pass the anti-corruption bill.</p>
<p>Now, one might wonder where we are headed with connecting cricket and politics. Statistically, Kejriwal’s reign as the Delhi Chief Minister in 2013 was not good for Indian cricket. During his 49-day phase, India played 7 matches.</p>
<p><strong>Out of the 7 matches, team India lost five (4 ODIs and one Test). They drew another Test match and tied a one-day international match.</strong></p>
<p>People, who follow cricket and politics closely, are familiar with this particular statistic. This has worried this set of Indians and for a very good reason.</p>
<p><strong>The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled to begin from 14th February with India slated to play against arch-rival Pakistan on the 15th</strong>. India is the defending champion and if the Kejriwal theory is anything to go by, India’s chances of surrendering the World Cup appear high.</p>
<div id="attachment_23753" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015-icc-cricket-wc.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23753" class="size-full wp-image-23753" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015-icc-cricket-wc.jpg" alt="2015 icc cricket wc" width="600" height="338" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015-icc-cricket-wc.jpg 1280w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015-icc-cricket-wc-660x371.jpg 660w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015-icc-cricket-wc-1000x563.jpg 1000w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23753" class="wp-caption-text">2015 ICC Cricket World Cup begins on 14th February</p></div>
<p>Besides, India is facing all kinds of troubles heading into the tournament. Ishant Sharma has already been ruled out of the squad, India lost to Australia in the warm-up match and won against Afghanistan, who are minnows, in all honesty.</p>
<p>Kejriwal inspired many people to come out of their homes and vote for Aam Aadmi Party, in the process winning the 2015 elections. If ‘Captain Cool’ Dhoni was to look at this weird statistic, even he would be a bit concerned, but we believe our leader is not one of the superstitious types.</p>
<div id="attachment_23801" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ms-dhoni1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23801" class="size-full wp-image-23801" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ms-dhoni1.jpg" alt="ms dhoni" width="600" height="337" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ms-dhoni1.jpg 1260w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ms-dhoni1-660x371.jpg 660w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ms-dhoni1-1000x562.jpg 1000w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23801" class="wp-caption-text">&#8216;Captain Cool&#8217; MS Dhoni</p></div>
<p>On the other hand, if MS Dhoni does believe in such credulous notions, he would want Kejriwal to abdicate just like he did the last time.</p>
<p>Truthfully, both Kejriwal and Team India have promises to keep and if the so-called jinx gets eliminated, our players can retain the World Cup and Delhi can be a better state that India would be proud to call its capital.</p>

<p>Fans are already concerned that India might not even make it to the semi-finals in the upcoming World Cup.<br />
<strong>Ian Chappell&#8217;s Say</strong></p>
<p>Ian Chappell Advice Virat Kohli To Bat At Number 3</p>
<div id="attachment_22585" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ian-chappell.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-22585" class="size-full wp-image-22585" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ian-chappell.jpg" alt="Ian Chappell" width="600" height="400" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-22585" class="wp-caption-text">Ian Chappell</p></div>
<p>Veteran cricketers like Ian Chappell (former Australian captain) and V.V.S. Laxman (former Indian batsman) have both reiterated the very fact that Kohli should come to bat at one-down (number 3) which is his usual position in the Indian batting lineup.</p>
<p>Challenging India’s current lineup as shaky and unpromising, Ian Chappell has advised team India to retain Virat Kohli at the number three spot in order to score more runs and avoid getting knocked out with short-pitched deliveries. We all know how the Indian team topples down like a deck of cards when the starting order collapses when star players get bowled out and the rest of team succumbs to pressure.</p>
<p>He challenged that India’s bowling has been really reckless during the Australian tour and there are no signs that it might be rectified during the World Cup.</p>
<p>Chappell also suggested that India should replace out of form Shikhar Dhawan with Stuart Binny as an opener to begin the innings with cracking performer Rohit Sharma to get a solid start in preliminary overs in order to achieve a good score.</p>
<p><strong>MS Dhoni&#8217;s Decision</strong></p>
<p>India captain M.S. Dhoni has, however, decided to keep firm on his decision to keep Kohli at number 4 and assumes this might be the starting lineup on a permanent basis. He feels that the team lineup has been adjudged accordingly to their fitness and current performance levels and they have the ability to win all matches in the World Cup if they put their heads together into the game. His main area of focus remains on how the team bats in the last 10-12 overs with a few wickets in hand.</p>
<div id="attachment_22586" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ms-dhoni.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-22586" class="size-full wp-image-22586" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/ms-dhoni.jpg" alt="Mahendra Singh Dhoni" width="600" height="369" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-22586" class="wp-caption-text">Mahendra Singh Dhoni</p></div>
<p>He says that the very reason as to why Virat Kohli is batting at number four is to help strengthen the middle and lower-middle order of our team’s batting lineup. He feels that Kohli’s experience is crucial in giving India a breakthrough from dismal losses.</p>
<p>He also supported Shikhar Dhawan’s current performance and said that he feels Dhawan did decently well in the ODIs. We can just pray that this formula works, although it isn’t yet against England. India is on a losing streak and we hope this changes during the World Cup or else India may get knocked out in the group stages even before stepping into a quarter-final! It would be shameful if India loses their first match against Pakistan and loses their winning streak against the country they have been defeating in World Cups since time immemorial.</p>
<p>Let’s hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed!</p>
