History of Daulat ki chaat

While discovering the ancient history of the preparation of the skimmed milk there are several stories behind it. With the arrival of the different dynasties and emperors into the country, the changes in the chaat molded the taste.
It is believed that Daulat ki Chaat was introduced by the Gujaratis who love to have the creams of the skimmy milk during the winter. Other than this, there was an inspiration from the Shahi Tukda that was a special dish from the Mughal court.
The dessert or the street food was also seen in the Afghan dishes, where the cow or buffalo’s milk is beautifully skimmed to form the creamy layer. This form or method is still popular for the making of the drinks such as Yakult and Kumis.
Each preparation has a difference but it has the same techniques but the extra additional to ending up to creating the chaat. The entire journey from simple skimming of the milk to the flavor mixes on the creams is exceptional in taste.

Dessert or as street food

Whether it is the dessert after the marriage ceremony or it can be a small treat to the belly in the winter afternoons. None the less the affection for the chaat is lesser for the locals as well as the visitors. The food is not only famous among the Delhites but also available in different parts of the north, as Malayo in Varanasi. Nimish in Lucknow, the tastes may vary a bit but the basic flavor is of the cream segregated from the milk is similar.

Few people are aware of this light dessert that people can have after their heavy kind of dinners at parties or events.
The desserts serving in different earthen pots, or in leafy pots, have their individual attraction for their cloudy white appearance and the sweetness of the dry fruits, saffron, cardamom. From the kitchen of the Parsi’s drink, it may not be similar but has the touch of the cardamom in it.

Daulat ki chaat, the unique dessert as the name describes; is exceptional when it ensures that feeling and flavor are equal to several gold coins. People find this dessert lighter and tastier comparatively to other traditional or continental deserts. This the reason that this dessert has been known as the chaat that is one in hundreds for its unique delicacy available in the winter season.

The onset of the pandemic has led to an increase in the demand for masks to protect the large mass of the population from the attack of COVID -19.

Mainly this is contrived to meet up the costs, affordable face reusable masks, that can take the round of laundry 50 times. The masks washing several times enables us to use it, again and again, makes it less expensive compared to other masks. The anti-bacterial mask and washable property have made it one of the matchless creations.

Reuseable Masks with 3-micron antibacterial efficiency

New reusable masks that are an effort to produce a successful production the Nsafe mask ensures the bacterial filtration efficiency to 99.2 percent which is equal to 3 microns. Most of the masks for common people demand a breathable, these masks conform to the ASTM standards. The company ensures the mask to be comfortable and breathable.

CEO & Founder of the company, IIT Delhi alumnus Dr. Anasuya Roy and Professor Magolia Joshi, from the department of textile and fiber engineering, IIT Delhi. According to them, this mask is the first reusable mask in India with antibacterial filtration.

Three Layered filtered masks

The efficiency of the masks can be assumed undeniably, three layers that contain the antimicrobial filtration mid-layer, the outer layer has the oil-repellent and water properties and the inner layer consists of the hydrophilic layer for comfort.

The hydrophilic layer of the masks enables to stop the droplets to be absorbed by the outer layer. So, when a person coughing or sneezing it will be absorbed by the hydrophilic or inner layer while the person sneezes. This will stop the Covid-19 carrier to spread further, the fabric properties can be compared to simple fabric that we use is of so-called ‘Gamcha’, that we Indians use to dry cloth acts like a towel after taking shower.

The outer layer is also known as a hydrophobic layer that resists water or oil from entering inside the inner layer. It is the polypropylene layer that absorbs the droplets outside and does not allows the water to enter inside.

The middle layer of the reusable masks is always awaken, that stops the droplets at the layer itself. Similarly, the external surface of the masks absorbs the droplets but the mid-layer which acts as an anti-microbial filtration layer.

Covid-19 positive cases are increasing, in order to control the rapid widespread of the disease few initial guidelines and protective measures are necessary. After the withdrawal of the Lockdown, India has high chances to see a steep rise in positive cases. Affordable and reusable masks including effective sanitary implementation and social distancing can control the spread. Responsibility of the citizen increases to maintain the guidelines to be provided by the government of India and the Healthcare department.

Golgappe!

No matter what I do, and why I do it, this reason to life will never fade away.

No matter what city I go or work in, I have to have Golgappe 5 times a week! Do you feel the same too? If yes, then we are riding on the spicy boat 😉

And guess what is the high point in a Golgappa story? They are available in almost every city you go to! Wherever you are in the country, you will get them. Maybe with a different name, with a different appeal, and prepared with slightly different technique with minor variations due to the local tastes, these yummilicious treats are heaven, residing in all the cities.

Let’s have a look at the names and forms of Golgappe as they are available n these 8 cities. Along with some of the most famous GolGappa Joints in those cities who take pride in serving Golgappas!

1. Amchi Mumbai’s Pani Puri Chatkaaredaar

No match for Mumbai Pani Puri, as it is lovingly christened in the city of Marathas. There is a unique flavour to pani puri here, which probably is due to the presence of usual salt in the sea laced air. Yes, some joints are famous for using Bisleri water for their pani puri, so those who are high on hygiene quotient, can have as much as they want, without getting worried of the bacteria.

Kachori is the ultimate bae. Food culture in India is different from other parts of the world because our undying love for fried and ghee smeared stuff. During the recess, you will see even the smallest of food stalls are thronged by the employees and the students alike. The steaming hot plates of Kachoris being served between the bustle of the streets is a different experience altogether. In fact, Chaat is another story in India, a lot of relationships have been built over Chaat dates. Mind you, not coffee dates.

When it comes to making the most lip-smacking Chaat, no other city in India is at par with Delhi. Delhi has its own kind in making Chaat and no wonder, the people pride on their food culture a lot. When you amble across the narrow alleyways of old Delhi that look like dinosaur’s ribs, you will bump into Chaat stalls successively. You pause there, spoilt for choices.

Now let us introduce you to the 150 years old Chaat shop in Delhi that is spellbinding the customers since forever. Those, who have guessed the name, perhaps are already smirking. It’s Jung Bahadur Kachori wala in Chandni Chowd that drove us insanely in love.

Chandni Chowk in Delhi is already famous for its parathas, now dig some sinfully spicy Kachoris going by our suggestion. The shop is humble, fairly nondescript but what they have in their disposal deserves hands down. A lot of people, may be even you, will walk past this but let us tell you, you have missed the best Chaat.

We will recommend you to try on the Kachoris that they serve with spicy Aloo ki Sabzi alongside tangy Kachalu chutney to amuse your taste buds. The prices are held at 20 for half plate and 40 for full which seems pretty feasible as compared to the quality they have to offer. More surprisingly, the quality remained all the same through the years from its birth. May be one plate won’t suffice for you and you will end up ordering another.

Let us tell you, it will be really difficult to track down this place but this is worth a find. Take note. The 50-year-old shop in Chandni Chowk that leaves you in awe with its awesome Kachoris, have become a buzzword among the foodies for all the right reasons. You can binge on Kachoris and other delicacies here. If you have already heard about this place, you should not wait any longer to have a distinguished gluttony experience. Two thumbs up from us!!

Things Tapsee Pannu loves in delhi

1 – Coffee Date:

You can’t start a love story and not go on a coffee date in Delhi, that’s the essence of it. You know a person better when you chat over some coffee while your eyes do most of the talking. The landmark cafes like Café Coffee Day, Barista, Costa Coffee and Starbucks stand witness to such coffee dates.

5 – Ice-cream cone:

From being the site of Indraprastha at the time of Mahabharata, to the land of Mughal emperors and then the British East India Company, Delhi has been an integral part of every story that was ever being told in India’s history.

While India rebelled against the East India Company in the year 1857, Delhi was lost to the Britishers in a fight that was called the Siege of Delhi. After that fight, the city was under the direct control of British Government. Firstly it was made a district province of the Punjab but then in 1911, it was made the capital of India by Britishers as they transferred the title from Kolkata to Delhi.

Delhi, the capital of India – After getting Independence in the year 1947, The Constitution (Sixty-ninth Amendment) Act, 1991 declared the Union Territory of Delhi to be formally known as the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

let’s have a tour of Delhi

Delhi – The Political Hub

Politics of the whole nation runs from Delhi and it is officially the Political Hub of India.

As we all know the Government of India and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi jointly administer New Delhi because this is the place where both these bodies are located. Delhi is a place where all Political infrastructure is also situated, from The Parliament of India to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Cabinet Secretariat to the Supreme Court of India, all these bodies are located in New Delhi only. Apart from that, Lodhi Road, Janpath and Raisina Road are some of those areas in New Delhi where all the politicians reside. Whether it is a member of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha or a government servant, everyone has got a house in these areas. Going towards South Delhi in Chanakyapuri from India Gate, one can see a whole area contributed to the various international embassies, while local embassies are located near Connaught Place.

Geography and Ecology of Delhi

Being located at 28.61°N 77.23°E, Delhi lies in Northern India bordering with Punjab, UP and Haryana. If you are looking at the Geography of Delhi, you should not miss its two major components that are Yamuna flood plains and the Delhi ridge. The Yamuna river is the only water body flowing through Delhi and serves as a water source to the whole city.

Once you visit Delhi, the capital of India, you will be overwhelmed to see the presence of diverse culture.

Being attached to so many borders, Delhi resides more religions than any other city in India.

In fact, there are various areas in Delhi where you can find a majority of different cultures. Whether it is Punjabis, Biharis, Bengalis, Jaats, Christians, North Easterns, Nigerians or Muslims, you can see all these in huge numbers in Delhi, celebrating every occasion together in harmony. Though people call names to this lovely capital, it has a lot of things in store for you to make you fall in love with it. People here celebrate everything in a larger than life manner and that’s the reason why whether it’s Diwali, Navratri, Holi or even Christmas, you can see huge celebrations going on in every part of the city.

If you are looking out for the typical Delhi culture, you really need to visit Old Delhi.

This place has the true essence of Delhi and you can find all true Delhiites here. Apart from that, one can simply spend days in Old Delhi because of the food that it has to offer. Famous in whole country for its food, you can simply binge on some delicious Chaats in Chawri Bazar, Parathas in Chandni Chowk’s famous Paratha Wali Gali and Falooda at Fatehpuri with some serious Punjabi Food being served in the local Dhabas. If you are done with it, you can go on and eat some crispy Aloo Kachori, Malai Chap, Kathi Kabab with Rumali Roti and Tikki Chat at some of the famous Chaat corners of Old Delhi. Another thing that is extremely famous in Delhi is Chinese food because of so many North Easterners residing here. In every street and corner of Delhi, you can find a Chinese Cab or a Momos corner where you can find some really authentic Chinese flavours.

Places to visit in Delhi

Once you land in Delhi, the capital of India, you will be flooded with the options of different places that you can explore, majority of them will be Historical sites.

There is Jama Masjid, India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Hauz Khas Village, Safdarjung Tomb, Humayu’s Tomb and Agrasen ki Baoli, to name a few from the historical places. For that, you can visit Janpath, Palika Bazar, Central Market, Rajouri Garden, Chandni Chowk and the most famous of all – Sarojini Nagar.

While this was just a verbal tour of Delhi, the capital of India, I would want you to visit there once keeping aside all the rumours of the city being unsafe and enjoy the beauty of Delhi. I bet you will not be disappointed with all that the city has to offer you.

Hold your thoughts though! Girls might be same, but then there are obvious differences and if you compare girls from two of the most happening cities of the country, Mumbai girls will win hands down! Of course, there is an important factor of the social, economical and political conditions of the cities they are from; still how one adapts to surroundings and makes a difference in their life is what makes one stand out from the crowd!

We have constituted top 5 factors that clearly state that Mumbai girls are far far ahead.

Check it out guys Why Mumbai Girls are Better Than Delhi Girls!

1) Beauty

Well, beauty is nature’s given, but what you do with beauty is what makes the difference. Girls in Delhi might have been blessed more, but the way Mumbai girls present themselves, the way they carry themselves just makes them the winners! Blame it on Bollywood for that extra style quotient, but the fact is girls in the economic capital of the country are more attractive than their northern counterparts.

2) Independent

Girls in Mumbai are used to travelling alone from a very early age. Travelling in local trains and buses gives them a kind of independence that is not found in Delhi girls. Also in Delhi, the kids are over-pampered so girls grow up being overly protected. Mumbai girls travel alone, any time of the day and night, thanks to a more or less safe and secure public life making them more courageous and strong as well.

3) Culturally Advanced

North India and Delhi specifically is known for having strong cultural roots to the extent of being on the borderline of being orthodox and narrow-minded. Mumbai, on the other hand, boasts of a cultural mix of who’s who not only from within the country, but also from people of different nationalities. This gives the girls a good exposure to different point of views and makes them think from a broader perspective.

4) Accommodating

People in Mumbai are used to living in cramped houses and travelling in inhuman conditions compared to Delhi, where most of the population enjoys sprawling wide roads and live in palatial houses due to easy availability of land and space. This makes an impact on Mumbai girls as they easily adjust in any and every situation without any trace of stress or discomfort!

5) Don’t Show-off!

Girls everywhere are into show-offs, always boasting about their latest jewellery or expensive make-up. Mumbai girls, on the other hand, let others do the talking rather than playing their own trumpet 24X7! Yes, they would discuss their achievements and possessions, but unlike Delhi girls who need a reason to boast and sometimes create excuses to boast something as insignificant as a manicure!

There can be many more points of comparisons and some of you might not agree with what we are saying here, but this is what it is! If you don’t agree, give us reasons to believe you.

For now, Mumbai girls rock!
