The party bummers will leap at the first chance to hop around happening clubs but the couch potatoes will snuggle up in their sofa and prefer to binge watch Netflix with a tub of popcorn.

So, if you too like to live in your comfort bubble and hate socializing yet can’t refuse your friends, here are 15 things you can completely relate to if you hate clubbing:

1. You hate to tag along with a bunch of people who are way too nosey for your taste:

You are happy in your personal space and never bored as you are too happy with yourself. These people just don’t get the idea. Damn!

2. You only know Naagin dance and people want you to pull off MJ:

That’s not fair guys. I am a bad dancer but good TV watcher.

3. You have to deal with love-struck puppies at the dance floor:

They just seek a single opportunity to brush against your bod. So done with them duh!

4. You can’t even utter a single sentence without screaming in their ear, forget striking a conversation:

Music bajega loud toh aunty police bulalegi!

5. Those overpriced drinks are not worth your while:

Bloody tasteless rots. I would rather drink Rooh Afza back home.

6. Washrooms reek of alcohol and puke:

That I didn’t sign up for. Nooo!

7. Washrooms have ques:

Like the ration shops do.

8. You spend half the night phoning the over-zealous friend of yours to track her down:

She is just around hooking up with a guy but it takes forever to spot her, meanwhile half the night has gone by.

9. Alcohol and sweat smells ftw!

The imperious stench of alcohol and sweat makes you meh!

10. You spend a lot of time dealing with drunken people fighting:

And you feel like a referee in the boxing pit.

11. Those awful strobe lights are the biggest turn off for you:

Only if one could wear sunglasses to clubs.

12. Dude those are bouncers or Gorillas:

How they come up with those meaty bodies quashing attitude. Are they real?

13. Creeps alert:

You have to deal with creeps peeping at your twins every now and then. Some making unsolicited advances some offering you a drink and some just over the top enthusiastic about asking you out.

14. You don’t register that music but still have to dance to it:

The music that’s being played on the popular demand just gets on your nerves.

15. Recipe for a club:

Take an average bar, add some incomprehensibly garish and loud music, turn on the strobe lights and voila! Club for you.

However, when it comes to house-parties, things are very different compared to a party in a club or a disco. A house party is a more private affair with a limited set of people whom you really want to spend time with. Therefore, it becomes absolutely necessary that you act as a great host and ensure that your house party becomes talk of the town!

Let me give you some basic tips to make you rock as a house party host:

1) Guest List

This is the first thing to consider when hosting a party. Be very careful while inviting people to your house as you want a party, not a ruckus! Also, make a proper balance of people for it to be entertaining for everyone. Inviting only heavy drinkers or majorly sobers, majority of extroverts or introverts can make or break your party. A perfect mix of your friends will ensure that everyone has fun without making the party a dull affair or a nightmare!

2) Party Time

Some people are always punctual even for a party and some are always going to be late! In case you don’t want guests walking in your door when you’ve not even taken a shower for the party or watching guests still walking in when you’re getting ready for the work day the next morning, plan your party start time carefully. For those who work according to the clock, tell them the party starts at 10 pm if you plan to start at 8pm. And for those late comers, invite them at 8 pm! You got the idea, right?

3) Food And Drinks

This is one of the most important aspects for a house party. Make sure there is enough food for everyone and a good variety as well. Don’t forget the vegetarians and don’t order basic stuff for vegans while having a lavish extravaganza for non-vegetarians! Have a balance! As far as drinks are concerned, have a good mix of soft and hard drinks. Be careful though, about guests getting drunk and creating nuisance. Avoid inviting such guests who have a history of being not able to control their drinking so that the party remains an enjoyable affair for your other guests!

4) Good Music

Don’t make it too loud and jazzy the way it is in pubs so as not to disturb neighbours. However, music should have enough variety to cater to different tastes at different times of the party. Starting with peppy numbers to bring life to party, it should turn down to slow soothing kinds when party is about to end.

5) Introduce People

Not all your guests are going to know each other. Hence, introduce people to each other and then leave them to interact further and have a good time. Don’t let any introvert or shy friend of yours sitting all alone in a room full of people while you babysit him!

6) How To End

You can’t ask people to go once party is over, but drop subtle hints that it is time to go now without being in their face. Some of the things that you can do are start clearing the trash, switching on regular lights for a home kind of ambience, reducing the volume of music and things like that. Most of the guest will get their hints!

7) Don’t Drink

You’re the host! You have to stay sober to take care of your guests, entertain them and take care of them, therefore don’t get sloshed and forget that it is you who invited them and not the other way round! Even if you have to drink, stay much within limits and be a social drinker for that one night, which you want everyone to remember for your hosting skills!

Go ahead and have an amazing time with friends. Work hard and party harder!

And rightly so because it is never easy to read a woman’s mind and we all have several questions to ask her! Especially in a case like this wherein a smoking-drinking girl with minimalist clothes is concerned, the urge to know what she wants or trying to tell you is of monumental proportions!

Now control your testosterone jumping here and there!

This kind of a girl who is so commonly visible in all kinds of parties all around the town across the nation isn’t a very complicated soul. She is pretty simple and straightforward and easily comes direct to the point.

You are getting excited, aren’t you?

Yeah, I know! I can sense your breathing becoming faster, eyeballs jumping out of the socket and eager to know what she wants from you!

Well, if she met you in person, she would just come to you, look in your eyes, flip her long hair back and would simply say: MIND YOUR OWN BLOODY BUSINESS!!

Exactly!!

Enough of objectifying her and considering her “EASY” just because she is living her life, her way, on her terms!

And no, don’t even start lecturing about the great Indian culture and morals and ethics for they are not applicable only for women to follow, but the onus to follow them lies on men too.

Do men follow them?

Most of the men can’t give an honest answer to that as they are only taught such morals in school books to prepare for weekly exams and then to be forgotten the very next moment!

A girl wearing such clothes and drinking and smoking is not a prostitute! She has had a long and hard day at work, just like her male counterparts and is trying to have a great time enjoying the simple pleasures of life, which she chose as per her freedom of choice. It doesn’t mean that she is inviting any man or the so-called custodians of society to pass a remark on her or consider her as a “loose character” who can easily be taken to bed!

It is high time that we as a society give respect and space to every girl/woman to live her life the way she deems fit, just like any human being is allowed to live.

Those who agree with it are already the mature lots!

Those who felt disappointed with the answer, better go home and ask your parents to again teach you the lessons you should have learnt in your childhood to become a sensible, intelligent and responsible human being!
