#AvengersAgeofUltron – Which Bollywood Actors Can Fit The Bill?

Avengers Age of Ultron is one of the highly anticipated movies of 2015. In all the excitement surrounding the movie, we wondered which Bollywood stars could match the potential of the American actors as superheroes.

#AvengersAgeofUltron is one of the highly anticipated movies of 2015.

With #Marvel releasing a teaser not too long ago, the audience expectations have soared sky high.

Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson are reprising their characters from The Avenges (2012) film.

In all the excitement surrounding the movie, we wondered which Bollywood stars could match the potential of the American actors as superheroes.

Below mentioned is the list –

Akshay Kumar (Robert Downey Jr./Tony Stark/Iron Man)

If Kumar and Downey have one thing in common it has to be the wits with which they deliver their respective dialogues. Where Downey is renowned for writing his own dialogues, Akshay Kumar has to be one of the best actors, who deliver speech with panache.

Hrithik Roshan (Chris Hemsworth/Thor)

Picture this Indian actor, who is often compared to Greek Gods for the kind of body he has. He can definitely fit the character of the Norse mythological God, Thor of Asgard. Hrithik can also shape his hair like he did in the Krrish movies. Hand him his Mjölnir and we have our Thor in place.

Ajay Devgn (Chris Evans/Captain America)

Ajay Devgn’s, though a discreet prankster, is renowned for his serious and private nature. His attitude perfectly complements that of Captain America played by Chris Evans. With the two Singham movies, he has proved that he can lead a group of people. He can be the ideal team leader to ward off the evil forces.

Abhay Deol (Mark Ruffalo/Bruce Banner/The Hulk)

We know Abhay Deol would not agree to star in movies with such hype, but if you think about it, he carries the same level of composure that Bruce Banner does. (Although we know Banner struggled many years to gain his composure.) Nevertheless, we can’t picture any other actor, who could deliver the dialogue “That’s my secret, Captain. I’m always angry” perfectly.

Deepika Padukone (Scarlett Johansson/Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow)

We have seen Deepika performing action stunts in Chandni Chowk to China (God forgive her). But put her into the shows of Black Widow and we can have the perfect female agent, who can kick butt like no other actress.

Arjun Rampal (Jeremy Renner/Clint Barton/Hawkeye)

Honestly, it was difficult to find an actor, who could fill in Renner’s place as Hawkeye, but after several considerations, we have closed in with Arjun Rampal. Rampal is a serious character and has had his share of Bollywood success. He can be a good action star, so why not utilise him where he could belong?

Ritesh Deshmukh (Don Cheadle/Col. James Rhodes)

Although many might question Ritesh Deshmukh’s involvement in a serious movie, we have just used him to match Akshay Kumar’s character. Iron Man movie fans know James Rhodes and Tony Stark to hang out together and we have seen how Ritesh and Kumar complement one another. Houseful 2. Duh!!

Alia Bhatt (Elizabeth Olsen/Scarlet Witch)

One of the twins could be played by our very own Alia Bhatt, as Scarlet Witch is the new character added to the Avengers roster. Alia has proved that she belongs to the industry and watching her play one of the important female superhero characters could be fun.

Arjun Kapoor (Aaron-Taylor Johnson/Quicksilver)

Here, we want you to forget the Quicksilver that we saw in X-Men Days of Future Past. This case is an entirely different one. Twin brother to Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver is renowned for his ultra-light speed. Arjun can perfectly fit the role.

Amitabh Bachchan (James Spader/Ultron)

The ‘lead’ man, the destroyer of Avengers can be played by none other than the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. We have seen the impact that James Spader has left after voicing for Ultron, Tony Stark’s creation. Mr. Bachchan can match the voice and deliver outcomes that would enthrall the audience to extreme lengths.
