MS Dhoni-led side go into this match with two wins and practically, the bowlers are hitting purple patch at the right time. But indeed there are some flaws that could affect India in the T20 World Cup and here are those points that the Men In Blue should correct in the forthcoming match against the hosts, Bangladesh:

DO NOT underestimate Bangladesh
Bangladesh might be rueing their luck against West Indies but the ‘Tigers’ will pumped to go at the former T20 champs. Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim will charge up his team’s batteries against a high voltage game against India. Shakib-Al-Hasan remains a key player for the hosts and with the vociferous crowd behind them; India must not take it callously.

Openers slot should be checked
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are not firing all cylinders as far as opening is concerned. If they do, against Bangladesh, well then Dhoni might stick with them but if don’t click, swap Rohit Sharma with Ajinkya Rahane who is waiting the wings.

If poor form persists, DROP Yuvraj Singh
Southpaw Yuvraj Singh is still out of form and the runs have dried up. Even though skipper MS Dhoni has his back, Yuvi has yet to hit the heights of success that made him a champion in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Dhoni has a difficult decision to make, the one that can help build Team India forward.

Amit Mishra, the star of the side
Even though India is abundance to talent for spinners, Amit Mishra has shown that grit and fighting spirit is the way forward. A ‘traveller’ for months with Team India, Amit Mishra has fought his way back into the side and Dhoni must back him, even if the opportunity comes to drop Ravichandran Ashwin.

Forget all the implications back home
Will it be Sunil Gavaskar as the new BCCI chief? Will Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals be axed from IPL 7? Whatever the repercussions, Team India must not follow the lead to these stories and must concentrate to the game. Surely Dhoni and coach Duncan Fletcher might have discussed this topic and they are to win, semis spot awaits.

The dew factor might come into play but that won’t be a worry for Dhoni and his merry men as they try to march forward towards the semis. Bangladesh will come hard at them, not to forget the crowd support, but if the ‘Tigers’ fail with the bat yet again, this could mean India’s match for the taking.
