Well, there are quite few stunts which have the conventional Rohit Shetty stamp all over them. To perform those horrifying stunts, one needs to have nerves of steel and enough courage to stretch one’s own limits and go beyond the possible to achieve the impossible! Handsome hunk Rajneesh Duggal accomplished just that with an astounding calmness on his face and he is pronounced to be the deserving winner of Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5.
All in all, it wasn’t an easy journey! To compete amid 17 contestants who were equally motivated and geared up to win the competition, was a tough task in itself. It is not for weak-hearted! In a foreign land (this time it was South Africa), being away from friends and family, one needs to have monk-like concentration to gather thoughts and walk a path which involves perilous, treacherous, deadly stunts, day another day.
Rajneesh kind of looked aloof but guess that’s what has worked in his favor. That remoteness, time to focus and introspect, lent a hand to preserve his energies, which in turn helped to sustain for long. Just when he needed to give his best, he had hit the target bang on!
This can undeniably prove to be a master-stroke as far as his career is concerned. He was on a sabbatical from movies when this offer came around. A smart move on his part as he not only won the narrow contest, but his popularity will also soar. This sudden rise in fame will add up to the graphs of the flicks he is shooting for. Whether or not this proves to be a defining moment in Rajneesh’s life, only time will tell!
He has won various competitions till date, and won most of them as well, the most prestigious one being Grasim Mr. India. However, despite being acknowledged, being offered movies and music videos, his career never took off the way it was supposed to. Maybe his acting skills didn’t touch the audiences’ heart enough to make him a heartthrob. But who knows, there might be more takers for his brawn than brains or heart. Tch Tch!! Come on, we are not at all saying that he is only hot bod with no brains or stuff, just that he may not need anything but his lean and ripped body to be successful. Just saying you see!
But yeah, the Delhi lad has surely made his parents and hometown so very proud and has given a befitting reply to co-contestant Ajaz Khan’s stupid comment. While he was evicted, Ajaz had snobbishly commented that Rajneesh is the weakest link of the competition. Now, we all know who is the weakest of all!!
For now, it’s celebration time! Hope he cherishes these dazzling days of his life. We wish him one success after another in all his forthcoming ventures! In Fear Factor, fear wasn’t a factor to be considered at all, at least not for Rajneesh Daredevil Duggal!
