Depression Has No Face – All around the world, many people die due to depression. We end up saying “Oh, he never looked like a depressed person.” Frankly, “what does a depressed person looks like?” What is the FACE that says “Yes, I’m depressed.”

Hard to answer, right? To be honest, Depression has no FACE, at all.

Just because a person is smiling, doesn’t mean that he is OK. A depressed person FAKES that their life is as happy as others. We humans hide a lot. You know, it is very important to open up and share our feelings. Trust me; the more we hide our scars, they more it kills us inside. So, anyone out there who needs help should open up themselves.

Talk about it and help YOURSELF.

There are many who are depressed in this world. They don’t share their situation and thus later ends up suiciding.

That’s the truth, right? Firstly, I would say that we humans should share and tell our stories so that we can save our LIFE. On the other end, we can always try to understand others and listen, most importantly listen to others.

Remember, depression has no FACE. To prove this point, many people are coming forward and sharing their pics to prove it. In the end, when someone says “I’m depressed”, you will not end up saying “Oh, you don’t look like one.”

Depression doesn’t have a look and a happy FACE doesn’t always mean that the person is really happy.

Depression And Suicide –  Yes, depression is a bad thing.

It is nothing less than an illness.

I agree with it.

In today’s time, depression plays a very big role in people’s life, and it is certainly a topic that shouldn’t be ignored at-all. I understand, getting into depression is like losing your way back home, and damaging your inner soul badly with negative thoughts. You know, it makes us do things that we shouldn’t really do in our wonderful life.

No doubt, each and every one of us has problems in LIFE. I tell you, the rich people you see on social media aren’t fully happy at all. We see the stars shining, but we always miss seeing the faults in it. You know, that’s how it is. To be honest, we all have our own damn problems. “Depression” is a dangerous word, but one thing is for sure, that you can beat it.

Yes, YOU CAN.

There are many people who are in depression, but also, there are many people who learn to deal with it. If you’re someone who is in depression right now, then let me tell you, DEAL with it, but don’t KILL yourself.

The suicidal thoughts and the dreams of death that you’re having are obvious, but try to prevent them. To be honest, I’m dealing with it too. But c’mon, I can’t let the depression kill me. Yes, even though I’ve no one to talk, no one to express my feelings, and the list goes on and on, all I know is I’m not giving up.

Talking about the suicidal thoughts, many people think that to get away with depression, you need to end your life.

But let me tell you, it’s BULLSHIT.

Suicide is never the right answer to deal with depression.

Giving up will never help you in LIFE. You are the same people who talk about YOLO & stuff, and on the other side, you think that suicide will really help you.

That’s so unfair.

Suicide is never ever a right decision in any situation. Quote that!

Depression will certainly weaken you from inside, but get back up. It will destroy your mood, but take that punch to do something peaceful. I know, getting out of it is not so easy, but hey, it isn’t impossible too. There are many people who went ahead and committed suicide, but do you think that it was worth it? Absolutely no, right? Look I know, sometimes things turn ugly, but you need to be strong, because in the end that’s the only thing that matters a lot. You’re depressed, go ahead and talk to someone. Yes, even though your close ones do not understand you, remember that they were not born to understand you, so help yourself. Frankly, if you don’t have anyone, talk to strangers.

Trust me; it’s a great therapy.

The actual truth is, the moment you stop giving yourself a chance, that’s the only moment you close all the doors. So don’t do it.

Suicide will not just kill you, but it will kill others who love you unconditionally.

Remember whenever you’re drowning slowly into the suicidal thought, change your mind and learn how to swim. Get back up, listen to your best songs, do some exercise, make new friends, and do everything that makes you entirely happy.

Suicide isn’t a right track, but a wrong one.

Anyone who has ever beaten the depression then let me tell you, you’re really BRAVE. And to others, before depression kills you, do something to get out of it.

Arjun Bhardwaj Suicide Case –

No doubt, depression is extremely dangerous.

Plus alcohol addiction and drug use are two main devils that can destroy a person’s life completely.

Yes, the same thing has happened with a boy name, Arjun Bhardwaj. He was a student in Mumbai’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He had been living in the city since 2013. He was employed as a research analyst at Onionfans, a media news company based in Bangalore.

According to the reports, it is quite shocking to know that a 23-year-old youth decided to record a video on “How To Suicide”, and later jumped off from the 19^th Floor of a posh five star hotel near Bandstand, Bandra (West).

The incident took place yesterday i.e. on 3^rd April (Monday).

Right before taking his life, he recorded a video on Facebook which is 143 minute-long by giving a tutorial on how to end our life. Ever since the news, the video went viral, and captured a lot of attention.

In the video, he was seen with a bottle of wine and a cigarette. He also captioned the a picture he posted as “View to die for”, with a smiley Emoji.

Here’s the image – It was actually a hint for everything that took place later.

Before committing suicide, he left a suicide note in which he clearly wrote that depression and drug destroyed his life. He also thanked his friends, and apologized his parents.

According to the police, Arjun had checked into the Taj Lands End Hotel at 3am and had submitted all his documents. He then took the extreme step at around 6.30 pm when he broke the glass window, and jumped.

After the incident took place, police and the hotel staff nearly took an hour to reach the floor’s terrace, as there was no other way it could’ve been accessed. According to the police, he was so depressed in his life that even his browsing history indicated an attraction for death. There were lots of websites that he had searched in relation to the death.

Thus in his own words the death was a celebration of his life.

Bandra police station, said, “We have informed the family about the incident and they have come in the city from Bengaluru to collect the body.” They are still investing in the matter, and the Mumbai Police even tweeted for that matter.

The Govt. rules never failed to baffle people. It doesn’t matter how serious the issue at hand is but what matters more is the scope of the issue to fall under the genuine category.

How is that done? Well there are series of rules and guidelines that the issue needs to suffice for it to be considered worthy of Govt. help.

Farmer suicide cases due to the vicious cycle of unfavorable weather and lack of compensation from Govt. for damaged crops had been in the news since several years.

There was a recent report of 93 farmer suicide cases in 45 days from the Marathwada region.

But how many of them would pass the eligibility test is the bigger question.

The suicide cases need to fulfill all the criteria for them to be considered eligible for compensation.

Over the last four years as per reports, half of the cases aren’t considered eligible suicide cases. Yes as funny as it sounds, sadly this is the harsh reality of our country. The rules and regulations are nothing but a big joke that nullifies the gravity of the serious issues at hand.

The criteria laid for the eligible suicide case range from possession of land, loan taken from either nationalized or co-operative banks and loan from registered money lenders is also considered.

What if the farmer hasn’t taken a bank loan? Is the severity of his situation any different than the others?

You invest in the crops but the weather plays a spoilsport. Where can you expect the damage control from?

Agriculture is the backbone of our country. We boast about our rural desi flavors but fail to recognize the issues of the people sweating it out each day to keep the desi flavor alive.

The occupation of farming deserves serious attention and it is high time that the Govt. revamps the rules. These growing number of suicide cases are only going to deprive India of the youth wanting to take farming as a profession.
