Think Tank organizes the Rally Of Hope, 2022. Hosted by the Univeral Peace Foundation, (UPF) live streaming from South Korea on 11th September worldwide. This rally has been inspiring millions as the intention is to work on developing peace. Apart from it, another factor is the reunification of the Korean Peninsula. Worldwide streaming ensured that it is a combined effort of bringing peace between the two Korean parts. This Think Tank 2022 is looking forward to achieving it by the end of 2022.
The concern rises with the Cold war of North Korea. After the beginning of the Supremacy of Leader Kim Jong Un, in 2011 the security and dominance of the Government have been alarming to the rest of the nations. In 2017, the first hydrogen bomb was exploded while in 2019 they had tested a submarine-launched ballistic missile, 2019. The power of the country can be determined as a nuclear weapon state. 

Need of Rally of Hope

As time passes to 2020, the power of South Korea had been facing widened and unparalleled military challenges. Worsening with the threats from not only his neighbor North Korea but also China. The proximity relating to the geographic areas, and the concern is also about the sheer magnitude of mountain areas of China’s influence with the geopolitical weight. The sheer magnitudes share the Korean Peninsula and China on both sides. 

There was a pace in the development of nuclear weapons in North Korea that may shaken the Asia countries’ challenging security. Pointing on North Koreans to confirm their threats were based on some factors. Firstly the military leadership and political status of the country and its influence on the neighboring countries. The role of the primary and the external military support to the country; and their behavior that acts as threats to other countries. These are some of the features that lead to the find out about the perceived threats. 

Think Tank 2022 Is a global network

The Rally of hope aims is to introduce peace worldwide. It is Afghanistan unrests in violence and death of common people to establish power. While on the other hand, Asian countries are seeking peace and the emergence of prosperity ending wars.

• End religious and racial conflicts
• Develop prospects on International security

These are the main and real problems which Think Tank is looking forward to work. Instead of dominating with militaries and artilleries, it is a major and effective step towards economic developments and a stronger country.

North Korea and South Korea have been arch rivals since time immemorial and the differences seem to fade now that the North Korean leader Kim-Jong-Un has decided to escalate the bilateral friendship between the two nations.

South Korean leader Moon Jae in too has given his nod to steer clear of the elongated enmity.

Kim Jong Un took the first step ahead killing his inner demons towards this friendship and the world has gleefully welcomed his decision.

The historic meeting between, North Korea and South Korea, the two leaders at long loggerheads was seared with jokes and at least one unscripted moment. Kim, in a light-hearted spirit, joked and vowed that he would no longer disturb the sleep of his neighbours but testing missiles in the wee hours of morning. The key focus, however of the meeting had remained on the denuclearisation and some allied issues in Panmunjom, the demilitarized zone.

The meeting was held in South Korea where Mr. Moon asked Mr. Kim “You have crossed into the South, but when do I get to go across?”

The North Korean leader left him fidgety with his answer “Why don’t we go across now?”, as a video footage showed. Making no delays, they walked hand in hand southward shortly after 9:30 am local time.

This move made this event a benchmark one in history, a “Landmark event” so to speak, as comprehended by a political communications expert from Nottingham Trent University.

He was further quoted as saying, ““North Korean propaganda claims that the South is a puppet under the control of the US.” And then, “Thus, North Korean military personnel refer to the other side of the border as the ‘American side’. We should not underestimate the significance of a North Korean leader being prepared to step over the line into ‘American’ territory.”

This meeting’s sole agenda was to diminish the longstanding enmity between the two countries and establish a good bilateral relationship to pitch for better economic growth near future. Kim said he is willing to pay more visits to South Korea and also invited Mr. Moon to Pyongyang.

But Kim Jong Un who always defended his country’s nuclear arsenal without batting an eyelid, will perhaps have a tough time to abandon it. Obviously, he is protective about the same because it took him decades to raise this resistance barrier against US invasion and he also had heated exchange of words with the US President Donald Trump regarding his nuclear missile endeavours.

North Korea and South Korea – The both North and South Korean Leaders however, have decided to sign a peace treaty which will finally end the Korean war later this year.

Decriminalising sex, an act that sends chill down the spine of many people.

Many governments around the world are against the same, but some countries have opted for the choice, with South Korea jumping on the infamous bandwagon.

South Korea has decided to decriminalise adultery

The law against adultery in this Asian nation was accepted in 1953 and was even upheld in 2008 with protecting social harmony given as the reason.

Now one might wonder what the after-effect of such a move might be. Well, to start with, stocks of one of South Korea’s condom company increased by 15%. That’s valid!

The nine-judge panel that preceded the hearing contained seven members who rejected the ban as unconstitutional.

Seo Ki-seok, Constitutional Court justice, in defence if the judgement passed by them said, “The law is unconstitutional as it infringes people’s right to make their own decisions on sex and secrecy and freedom of their private life, violating the principle banning excessive enforcement under the constitution”.

With shares of Unidus Corp, a condom manufacturing company, soaring by 15%, it is evident that the locals have taken the news within their stride.

When it comes to adultery in South Korea, the last five years have seen over 5,000 people accused. In 2014 alone, 900 individuals were arraigned of infidelity.

Justice Park Han-Chul, who also presided the meeting, justifies the aforementioned statistic in his own way. “Even if adultery should be condemned as immoral, state power should not intervene in individuals’ private lives”, Park said.

April 2014 saw South Korea blocking a newly launched hook-up site citing the website threatened family values as the reason. Now, with sex being decriminalised, could the website go live again? Only time will tell that.

Besides South Korea, Japan is another country where sex is decriminalised. In mainland China, though infidelity is not a crime, it is surely a ground for divorce.

The Indian subcontinent has a weird law in regards with adultery; where men face penalty for adultery (five years imprisonment), women cannot be prosecuted for the same crime.

Europe is the only continent where adultery is no longer an offence.
