Prague, Czech Republic best from snowy places

In March the snowfall is in Prague, Czech Republic. It is the time when the beautiful structures are under the snowfall. The Gothic structures or the Baroque monuments are white in color due to the snowflakes. It is a place to fantasize about the snowy places in fairy tales.

Andermatt, Switzerland

Queenstown, New Zealand

Bled, Slovenia one of the best snowy places

Covering the mountains, trees, and valleys with white snow especially in the Alpine regions is healing to the human eyes. The month of Christmas becomes more special with the beautiful light works on the snow gives the glance of festivity and winter together. Slovenia is a place that has snowfall in many places but the Bled is one of the best to experience the snowfall.

Snow falls are not only exciting in fairytales to fantasize about. These are some of the places in the world that are gifted with true places similar to fairytales. Visiting these places will always remain to create memories in the future. Snowy places should not remain foggy in a fantasy world but they should be given the mold of reality.

Kashmir is always controversy’s favourite child but if we rise above the parochial view, it is the true ‘heaven on earth’. However, going back on our statement, after the controversial ‘Amarnath attack’ on the tourists, many people were even repelled to the idea of visiting for months on end. However, the clouds of danger have faded out and Kashmir has spread its arm wide open for the tourists now.

Also, green signal has been provided by the government that the ‘border tension’ has little effect on tourism now.

Here are the reasons why India Government is promoting Kashmir tourism now:

There is a state dedicated tourism police force to assist travellers:

A tourism police force has been deployed by the state ministry to assist the travellers, they are scattered around Sonemarg and Gulmarg areas. A senior official of the Northern State called the Amarnath incident an attempt to scare away visitors. The director of the tourism department in Kashmir said that the attempts will not be fruitful.

He further added –Apart from last year’s attack on Amarnath yatris, there has not been any instance of violence in the tourism corridor of the state, spanning Jammu, Vaishno Devi, Sonemarg, Gulmarg or Ladakh, in the last one decade,” Shah, who led a delegation from the country’s crown state to Kolkata, told PTI.

Jammu and Kashmir is the only country with zero crime records against the tourists:

In the late 2017 the number of domestic tourists have crossed the mark of 1 crore and he claimed that the Jammu and Kashmir is the only state that recorded zero crime rate against tourists.

Gulmarg, Kashmir’s main draw:

Gulmarg is located about 70 kilometres from Sri Nagar. It is one of the famous tourist destinations of Kashmir which offers skiing, famed gondola rides and ropeway cable car to take you in a high altitude of 13,000 feet.

Pahalgam and Betab Valley:

Pahalgam is a hill station which is located in Anantnag, in the banks of Lidder River which is a magnet to millions of tourists and pilgrims who set out for Amarnath yatra every year. In a fleeting distance from Pahalgam, to say 15 kilometres, you will see a beautiful park called Betab valley which is surrounded by lush hills.

Other attractions about Kashmir that seem enchanting to the tourists:

Some other key points in Kashmir such as Chashme Shahi Bagh, Nishant Bagh, Hazratbal Dargah, the Tulip Garden and Shankaracharya Temple. Also, your travel in Kashmir remains incomplete if you don’t stay in a houseboat in the Dal Lake alongside tasting some Kashmiri Kahwa and Hookah.

The local tour guides say ‘Idhar tourist logo ko koi hath nahi laga sakta’ , quite aptly put because in the tourist destinations, the police is made to be highly active to provide end-to-end protection to the tourists.

However, as some wise man had said that one can learn from anywhere and anyone, I thought what can we actually learn from Pakistan? The answer is: a lot!

Let me share with you 5 things that you can apply in your life to be successful!

1) Be Focused

Observe Pakistan’s focus on Kashmir for past 68 years and you’ll understand what I am saying! It is like a meditating monk’s focus – unrelenting and giving more than 100% to the goal. Now try doing this with your dreams, goals and ambitions; success will be yours for sure!

2) All Resources For One Objective

Pakistan may or may not use funds, people and other resources for the interests of its own citizens, but when it comes to Kashmir, its army, police, ISI and every known-unknown government machinery is used for singular objective. Therefore, if you want to achieve your goals, avoid wasting time and money on gadgets, wandering off, partying, but just put every second of your day, every rupee in your pocket to make your dreams come true.

3) Different Modes

Pakistan tries to hold dialogue with India, while at the same time tries to push militants inside Indian territory. If that is not enough, regular provocative firing happens on the border and then it raises the Kashmir issue at various international platforms to keep the issue burning and remain in everyone’s memory! Are you getting an idea about how to go about following your dreams or planning your work life? Don’t stick to one path, but knock on all doors, try everything in the book and outside of it to ensure success is yours!

4) Never Say Die

Has Pakistan ever come across as a nation that will rest even for a second from raising the Kashmir issue? NEVER! All its government machinery and armed forces work 24X7 to keep this issue bubbling while ensuring that no matter how many times they lose a war or their face in the public, they stick to their stand and keep working on their goals! Similarly, when you try to achieve goals, you will be rejected, you will lose a million battles and you may face humiliation, but if your dreams are genuine, no one will be able to stop you from achieving them one day!

5) Take Everyone Along

That is the mantra! Nothing in this world was ever achieved single-handedly as we all are social animals and we do require each other to grow in life. Pakistan has absorbed it completely and therefore uses all the manpower within its borders and then tries to influence the opinions of other countries as well to make sure that Kashmir is discussed as often as possible! You also have to convince people of your dreams, take help, lend a hand, but in the end take everyone along to be successful! No success is a sweet fruit if you have t eat it alone!

Hope you relate with these strategies! One thing to notice here is that no one can stop you from being successful if you’re fighting for a genuine cause, an engraved dream or a strong ambition! Pakistan, however, is on a silly wicket trying to work for a wrong cause! Right efforts in a wrong direction will not take you anywhere, is the final lesson from Pakistan’s journey!

Hence, make sure you have a right objective in the eye, and you use the correct measures!

Remember, there is always something valuable to learn even from the worst of your enemies!

Does it?

Well, trust us when we say that it is an important part of our history as a country and makes a big impact on our economy as a nation.

That was the year when independent India’s first Budget was released and one of the liabilities mentioned in Balance Sheet of India there was a huge amount of Rs. 300 crore due from Pakistan on account of share of pre-partition debt!

Now you get the idea what we are talking about?

Just imagine, from that year onwards, this entry is regularly made in the books and Pakistan has never paid it off despite India paying off its share of Rs. 50 crore soon after independence!

May be Rs. 300 crore is not a huge amount in today’s scenario where in other debts goes in lakhs of crores but in 1950-51, this amount was more than 10% of our total liabilities. In fact, it was almost 10 times of the country’s total external debt! How big is that?

Shall we give you an even bigger shock?

The government of India has kept the figure of Rs. 300 crore just like that even today, and has added no interest to it! Which means as average citizens, if we don’t pay on time, whether it is our taxes or loans or anything, we have to pay penalties and interest and what not. But for Pakistan, if they ever decide to pay, they are not required to pay any penalty or interest on this outstanding.

The amount was humungous in those days and even today it can come handy in financing various social initiatives to help make life of our citizens better in some manner at least.

So what are the government’s compulsions of not asking Pakistan to pay back what is rightfully ours? As far as other contentious issues are concerned regarding border, terrorism, Kashmir etc., they will obviously take time to be solved, but financial claims must be cleared. After all, Pakistan is getting billions of dollars from America and various other countries. It shouldn’t be a problem for them to pay off the basic principal if not with interest!

As a nation, we are trying to make relations smooth with our neighbour, taking steps to enhance the business relations, but then it doesn’t mean that we should not get back what are our legitimate dues!

The other option is for the government of India to show magnanimity, and write off the entire liability as charity to that country! That way we can really show that we are the big brother and we can afford to help out the ordinary citizens in that country even if they are routinely back-stabbing us!

But in that situation, will Pakistan ever accept India as Big Brother?

The answer is more towards the negative.

Well, let’s see when does the government act to make its books leaner and cleaner!
