When she quits her job to become an entrepreneur by selling customized spices, it was because of her interest in spices. Inspiration to the making of the customized spices was from the south Indian cuisine and the flavor of the mixing of spices.

In 2017 she launched her brand “Deccan Diaries” to provide the real flavor of the spices to the people. Exploring and introducing the spices from the traditional trencher was her aim. In 2014, she left her corporate job to start something that is independent and of her own. So, she is now into selling Indian traditional spices.

Quitting a job to entrepreneur

No, doubt there is a vast difference to work a full-time job. Though many risks are connected to work as an entrepreneur it provides satisfaction to own reflection and identity. This is one of the reasons that made her think of doing something out of the box. Preparing and mixing spices led to a successful business, but acquiring an idea of different kinds of spices has added benefit to Poojitha Prasad. Her parents own a food catering company and deliver food to the corporate sectors.

This has been the best factor for understanding the uses of spices and their application in south Indian food. South India itself uses various mixes of spices. Different parts use kinds of mixes to add their respective flavor states. The flavor of their food is exceptional and delicious. It is due to the customized spices they used in their food.

This boosted her ideas to start a business in customized spices that will add the original flavors when mixes with the foods.

Discovery of customized spices

Her startup was with some common customized spices such as sambar Pudi, Bisi Bele bath mix, and chutney powder. Then, Poojitha escalates to increase her collections over the authentic, original spices from the traditional boxes. Traveling throughout the various districts Poojitha started to collect the lost traditional flavors to introduce them again.

Earlier, with her customized spices she exhibited in different fairs and exhibitions. Few of her products were sent to the local stores for selling in Bengaluru. It was a great mess for the business owners and entrepreneurs in 2020, due to the pandemic o Covid-19. It has added no profit or progress to her business. The entire work is carried by the local women, but it was not possible during 2020 when all workers were not available for work.

But after days were improving the customized spices preparation began with the return of the workers. The spices are now sold under the Saheli Programme, of Amazon, as the whole process is carried out by the women.

Now, the Bengaluru woman sells her customized spices with original flavors, and a total of 15 kinds of spices are sold. Her brand has received orders of more than 1000 from different parts of India.

She is a 36-year-old Indian woman who is turning up to become one of the successful entrepreneurs by selling sweets made of dry fruits earning one lakh per month.

As per prices, the benefits of dry fruits are unlimited. Both taste and health make it the most reasoning sweet preparation. The main benefits of dry fruits that have differentiated from other sweets based on health are as follows:

They are rich in protein and vitamin

Reduces the presence of cholesterol

Strong sources of fibers

Immunity booster

Rich in minerals.

Altogether dry fruits in one form or another can provide good health to the buyers and a good business to entrepreneurs.

What made her think of sweets without sugar?

No one can assume sweets without sugar. But the absence of glucose can help in the healthy development of children. This is what, Rida came to know from her doctor and she was looking for different options to provide a healthy diet. Her first trial to make sugar free delicacies was using dry fruits. Indian traditional food or raw dry fruits are common that people take in form or other. The taste of the sweets are not just unique but one of the delicious original eateries.

Sweets have the main components of sugar, jaggery, or honey a major source of glucose, which is not fit for any age if taken in high amounts. So, removing glucose is easy but creating a successful delicious preparation was a difficult job. But Rida Sajad’s children are an inspiration to creating the new flavor led her to prepare an exceptional one for selling dry fruits eateries.

The main objective of preparing the sweets is basically for the kids who will love to eat without any taste of sugar. Finally, after few kinds of research along with her kids Miraan and Moeez, their new sweet eatery was introduced. It is now known as “Shireen E Yemberzal” which means Sweet Daffodil –Mathai Wagon.

Rida’s business and her earnings

The startup of the dry fruits business was a fun game but with time it is now giving them earnings of one lakh per month. Her healthy eateries are now not only available in the location of Delhi but it is now in its way to Kashmir. The statement sounds effective as the real-life story of Raju Jangid. He turns to become the Hindi reviewer or Hindi editor of Wikipedia. Raju Jangid belongs to the carpenter family and his business has been running generation-wise. Initially, his career was attached to the carpentry business. But it is his urge to connect himself to education, writing, and creativity that finally he decides to work on Hindi Editing work.

Raju Jangid his village on Wikipedia

Belonging from the remote village Thadiya, Jaipur from the Suthar background. At the age of 22, he started to work on small Hindi articles. The articles were about the villages that he edited in Wikipedia. It was just the beginning after which he did not stop writing as a Hindi editor. His main intention to join in writing was to provide information about his village and the targeted Hindi readerships.

Wikipedia has been the trusted website about the ideas and complete knowledge about and almost everything. A guide for people who want to know and learn; but Jangid did not find any information about his village which disheartened him. Finally, it was the time he felt to start writing about his village by gathering information about his village, Thadiya.

He completed his tenth and then dropped out to earn his livelihood. But his interest in reading writing inspired him to begin as an editor. He writes in Hindi for Wikipedia his target audiences. It was only the Indian audiences who read and write Hindi but did not have many options on the internet. It is the national language of India and most people are expected to know Hindi. Apart from it, he completed his Xth studying in Hindi medium. Writing in Hindi was easy and also a need for Wikipedia.

Wrote 1800 articles

Working as a Hindi editor he was written 1,800 articles for Wikipedia and edited almost more than 56,000 articles. Altogether he has been a dedicated writer and has been allotted the position of editor, now he works on the Swatha wiki that holds the information about the health schemes.

He has contributed to Hindi readers. As it is true that most of the information is less accessible for the national language learners. His attempt is to provide the information to the users. For those who are not able to get the knowledge or information. It has no doubt increased the readership of Wikipedia which is one of the top websites with high traffic.

Graduation following Wikipedia editor

The journey to becoming one of the best contributors among the 11 writers was not easy. His early life in writing was entirely restricted due to obligations of terms and conditions. After strong researches on the term and conditions, he restarted with a new account.

Finally, it was a start which he still continues as a writer. No longer he works with his father due to his interest in writing and learning. Apart from being a Wikipedia editor, he works as a content writer in Jaipur. He completed his graduation working for Wikipedia.

The beginning of his writing was on his Samsung s5610. Now he uses his laptop with an internet connection.
