Impossible, when a person has to pay electric bills, pay the school fees of their children after providing the best amenities to family. It is fact of life that survival of the hobbies has become difficult in present world as they are not paid as per their values. The remuneration to their work and contribution has been reducing for years and reached to a place that earnings are difficult through art or artwork.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img class="size-medium wp-image-75173 aligncenter" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/image-placeholder-title-343x400.jpg" alt="" width="343" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/image-placeholder-title-343x400.jpg 343w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/image-placeholder-title-515x600.jpg 515w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/image-placeholder-title.jpg 620w" sizes="(max-width: 343px) 100vw, 343px" /></p>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Why So? </strong></p>
<p dir="auto">Necessities have been the main reason as well as the reason to earn the maximum. Very less space have been around that people are able to earn through hobbies as their profession. Unable to fulfill the criteria for necessities, and award to creativity is almost nil.  This is a reason a well groomed artist gives up artistry when they have no money to purchase minimal raw materials . Grooming hobbies are now expensive but there is no less spreading of creativity around.</p>
<p>Learning painting as part of increasing the creativity as per interests can be improvising the hands on art. But it can hardly draw a support to bread and butter unless one can establish themselves at the most recognized position. Years and years of hard work, it is not just enough but also it is essential to be able to spend on the costly canvas and colors or any kind of artwork. Hereby, if you have no money forget to learn and establish as an artist.</p>
<p>Is it possible that a good painter can purchase the best colors and canvas for each painting? Whatever they earn on few of their exhibitions and workshops apart from providing the essentials will hardly pull the rope. Finally short of penny pushes they back to find the best colors and canvas for their paintings.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-75172" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HITH-8-things-you-may-not-know-about-picasso-533x400.jpg" alt="fact of life 3" width="533" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HITH-8-things-you-may-not-know-about-picasso-533x400.jpg 533w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HITH-8-things-you-may-not-know-about-picasso-800x600.jpg 800w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HITH-8-things-you-may-not-know-about-picasso-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HITH-8-things-you-may-not-know-about-picasso-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HITH-8-things-you-may-not-know-about-picasso-970x728.jpg 970w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HITH-8-things-you-may-not-know-about-picasso.jpg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px" /></p>
<p><strong>Need are apart from hobbies</strong></p>
<p>This is another fact of life, in order to fulfil the necessities the requirement arises to earn from different stream. It may be by working in a small restaurant or teaching pupils that will help to get some extra money to their raw materials. Hobbies are required to be sustained by some primary sources of income unless one has a financial backup or sources until establishing as a renowned artist.</p>
<p>Hereby most of the hobbies not only painting but art, sculpture or music somewhere is buried under the regular necessities of life. Requirements to have a better livelihood,  desire to have beyond bread and butter, security for the family members has forced to give up hobbies. As it is another fact of life that hobbies are not a need, and so it does not matter unless related to survival.</p>
<p>Several artists give up from early age when they come to face the reality, it is not easy to establish if no ground is strong with stable backup. All alone growing up as a professional may take half of your life. But a profession with consumer and worldly need, real fact of life is in which one just work for money will acquire all the necessities in few years of work life. Finally it is true that slowly hobbies remain just as a hobby, which was once a dream and desire sets back inside the closed cabinet. Diverts the energy of likes and dislikes towards simply a robotic life to only earn for better and sophisticated livelihood.</p>

<p>Add to it the growing power of digital media (read: Internet) and stay assured that the whole thrill of watching a movie in a luxurious cinema hall on a 70mm big screen may soon be a thing of the past!</p>
<p>No, this is not a catastrophe planning to play out in next few days, but sooner than later if things remain the way they are.</p>
<p>Going by the trends, the days of the movie doing a golden or a silver jubilee are way past their expiry date. Now it is just the opening weekend, which matters. If the movie does well, fine or else within one month you can watch the same film in the comforts of your home without spending a single rupee. Even if the movie does roaring business and somehow due to busy schedules you are not able to watch in a theatre, trust the producers and broadcasters to bring it on your TV within a couple of months of its release.</p>
<p>Is it good? Or bad? Or doesn&#8217;t matter?</p>
<div id="attachment_24950" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/zee-network.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24950" class="size-full wp-image-24950" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/zee-network.jpg" alt="Zee Network" width="650" height="631" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/zee-network.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/zee-network-412x400.jpg 412w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/zee-network-618x600.jpg 618w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24950" class="wp-caption-text">Zee Network</p></div>
<p>Well, it all started with the cable revolution when we suddenly had access to yesteryears’ movies all day and night long, sometimes as per our convenience. Now, with a bombardment of Hindi movie channels, all the recent releases run on your TV screens not once or twice, but multiple times till their cost is recovered from the advertising revenue. In fact the major entertainment channels like <strong>Star Plus, Colors, Zee TV</strong> and <strong>Sony</strong> take the lead in premiering such latest hits and then these flicks are given to their sister channels to squeeze every bit of revenue from their running potential.</p>
<div id="attachment_24956" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/StarPlus1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24956" class="size-full wp-image-24956" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/StarPlus1.jpg" alt="Star Plus" width="650" height="265" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24956" class="wp-caption-text">Star Plus</p></div>
<p>For some it is good actually. Those patrons who like a particular movie and don’t want to buy its CD or DVD can watch the re-runs and have their share of entertainment even months after the initial release. But for those who cherish the whole experience of sitting in a dark hall with the intoxicating smell of popcorn and cold drink watching and losing themselves in the make-believe world of cinema, it is indeed a sad development to watch it at home, no matter what the comfort is!</p>
<div id="attachment_24949" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/colors-tv.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24949" class="size-full wp-image-24949" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/colors-tv.jpg" alt="Colors TV" width="650" height="375" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24949" class="wp-caption-text">Colors TV</p></div>
<p>To some extent, cinema halls are responsible for this decay due to the exorbitant prices of tickets and for a family of four it really becomes expensive to watch a new release every weekend. This pricing is again dependent on the cost of the movie and that depends on the star cast and so on and so forth.</p>
<p>In short, the ultimate sufferer is the avid movie-watcher who wants to enjoy the magic of cinema in a theatre only and not on a small screen.</p>
<div id="attachment_24951" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sony-tv.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24951" class="size-full wp-image-24951" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sony-tv.jpg" alt="Sony Television" width="650" height="762" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sony-tv.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sony-tv-341x400.jpg 341w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sony-tv-512x600.jpg 512w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24951" class="wp-caption-text">Sony Television</p></div>
<p>Let’s hope the entire cost-dynamics and profitability of a movie are worked upon keeping in mind those who love their cinema for its art and not its economics!</p>

<p>Well, it is about these Indian TV channels and production houses which are actually doing something smart for a change and that is such a welcome sign!</p>
<p>There used to be a time when all movies producers and TV producers used to stay away from releasing their films and shows while the cricket world cup was on. The simple reason is that no one wanted to take such a huge risk in this cricket crazy country and burn their money knowing well in advance that for two months of global sporting event, the audience is going to be glued to only matches and nothing else.</p>
<p>Then what happened this time?</p>
<p>For starters, none of the big movies are getting released during the <strong>World Cup</strong> <strong>2015</strong> and especially after India’s mind-blowing initial two matches, movie studios must be thanking their stars for not taking such a gamble. For TV, it is a different matter altogether.</p>
<p>This time the world cup matches are in the morning and they end well before the prime time kicks in. Hence a proper segregation of male and female viewers happens. The target audience will have access to the remote when the channels want them to have control! Secondly, more than a month is left before the IPL season kicks in and families switch off from daily soaps to domestic high voltage cricket!</p>
<div id="attachment_24873" style="width: 710px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Shikkan.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24873" class="size-full wp-image-24873" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Shikkan.jpg" alt="Shikkan on Zindagi" width="700" height="354" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Shikkan.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Shikkan-660x334.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24873" class="wp-caption-text">Shikkan on Zindagi</p></div>
<p>That’s why next week is going to be super happening. <strong>Zee’</strong>s new channel <strong>&amp;TV</strong> is getting launched on 2nd March with as many as 7 new shows while a new show on <strong>Colors</strong>, <strong><em>Swaragini</em></strong> makes it entry at 9:30 P.M. Not only that, on 3rd March, channel <strong><em>Zindagi </em></strong>will see the launch of a new show, <strong><em>Shikkan</em></strong>. In a matter of two days, 9 shows will mark their entry in your living rooms, giving you enough choices!</p>
<div id="attachment_24872" style="width: 710px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/swaragini-on-zee-tv.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24872" class="size-full wp-image-24872" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/swaragini-on-zee-tv.jpg" alt="Swaragini on Colors TV" width="700" height="455" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/swaragini-on-zee-tv.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/swaragini-on-zee-tv-615x400.jpg 615w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24872" class="wp-caption-text">Swaragini on Colors TV</p></div>
<p>In a way it is good for audience to select the shows they want to see and if few of them do strike a chord with the fans, then channels can at least hope that those shows will be watched even during the IPL so that the revenues will not be affected. It is smart programming and smart entertainment to give the audience enough time to get used to a show and also for the TV producers to tweak their shows as per the audience likings and tastes.</p>
<p>For now, all eyes are set on Monday. Let’s see what’s in store for us. Don’t know if we’ll have any shows that can keep us hooked on despite IPL mania, but then you never know!</p>
<p>Happy Viewing!</p>

<p>Period!</p>
<p>We all love our daily morning <em>Paranthas</em> with butter or the <em>Theplas</em> or <em>Idli-dosas</em> and no matter how many times we have cooked it, a new person will always be around to tell us a new way of cooking the same dish. In such a scenario, it is not a surprise that another cookery show has been launched to cater to our taste buds and it is with a big twist!</p>
<p>Yes, we are talking about the new show on <strong>Colors,</strong> <strong><em>Farah Ki Daawat</em></strong> hosted by, as the name suggests, <strong>Farah Khan.</strong> This lady has been a choreographer, director, anchor, wife, mother and what not! There can be doubts about her talent in various roles she plays, but one thing is for sure that she is hugely talented and like a chameleon blends in with her environment and makes it her home.</p>
<div id="attachment_24492" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/alia-bhatt-cooks-up-a-storm-with-gautam-gulati-and-farah-khan-on-farah-ki-daawat.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24492" class="size-full wp-image-24492" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/alia-bhatt-cooks-up-a-storm-with-gautam-gulati-and-farah-khan-on-farah-ki-daawat.jpg" alt="Farah Khan Daawat with Alia Bhatt and Gautam Gulati" width="650" height="383" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24492" class="wp-caption-text">Farah Khan Daawat with Alia Bhatt and Gautam Gulati</p></div>
<p>Cookery shows normally talk about different recipes, but to find out the favourite dish of your favourite celebrity, from his own mouth and even learn how to make it is any fan’s dream come true. The basic concept of getting big Bollywood stars like <strong>Abhishek Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar</strong> etc to share their culinary skills with their fans is a novel idea and never been attempted before in the country. It is obvious the curiosity factor will make the sure a hit, at least in the beginning.</p>
<p>The first episode had <strong>Abhishek Bachchan</strong> sharing his views about food, his likes and dislikes and to watch him cook a dish would have been a treat for his fans.</p>
<div id="attachment_24496" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/farah-khan_abhishek-bachchan.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24496" class="size-full wp-image-24496" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/farah-khan_abhishek-bachchan.jpg" alt="Abhishek Bachchan - Farah Ki Daawat" width="650" height="356" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24496" class="wp-caption-text">Abhishek Bachchan &#8211; Farah Ki Daawat</p></div>
<p>Obviously there were a bit of hiccups as far as comfort and ease is concerned since it is not a talk show where they just sit and blabber about everything under the sun and the audience still finds it exciting to find these celebrities share their personal bits. To maintain audience’s interest even when you are chopping a vegetable or stirring something on the pot requires some skills. Won’t say that Abhishek failed, but there is room for improvement. May be other celebs will be more comfortable and smooth in their cooking-act!</p>
<p>As far as host Farah is concerned, she has proved her mettle as a judge on various shows and also recently hosted <strong>Bigg Boss Hall Bol</strong>. Her gift of the gab helps her to find way out of any tricky situation and <em>bindaas </em>attitude relates with the common man. No wonder, she is becoming a regular face on TV for all the big reality shows!</p>
<p>Let’s see which special dishes we get to make and eat in coming episodes.</p>
<p>It will be a delicious watch, we hope!</p>

<p>Point taken as these shows doesn’t promise mind-boggling originality or great unheard stories etc. However, what’s commendable about some of these shows is their longevity despite being called regressive, boring, typical <em>saas-bahu</em> drama and what not. It isn’t easy to survive the competition when every other week a new show gets launched on the ever-increasing channels. That’s why we bring you some of the longest running fictional shows which have survived all kinds of criticisms, competition and changing audience’s taste to still be in the reckoning based on their adaptation to the changing times.</p>
<p><strong>1) Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma</strong></p>
<p>This comedy series is on air since 2008 and still going strong. It is not easy to create comedy, even if for some it’s stupid or exaggerated comedy, and that too without taking any time leaps which is prevalent on any other longest running show! Adapted from a comic series in Gujarati, this show still rules at number one on SAB TV.</p>
<div id="attachment_24447" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/taarak-mehta-ka-ooltah-chashmah-in.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24447" class="size-full wp-image-24447" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/taarak-mehta-ka-ooltah-chashmah-in.jpg" alt="Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma" width="650" height="325" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24447" class="wp-caption-text">Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma</p></div>
<p><strong>2) Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai</strong></p>
<p>A show about the day to day life of a family has done pretty well for itself given the fact that plot wise, there isn’t much there in it. The beauty lies in executing the simplicity of a family dealing with problems any family can relate with. No wonder, it is still one of the top three shows on Star Plus even after being on air since 2009!</p>
<div id="attachment_24448" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/yeh-rishta-kya-kehlata-hai.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24448" class="size-full wp-image-24448" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/yeh-rishta-kya-kehlata-hai.jpg" alt="Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai" width="650" height="391" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/yeh-rishta-kya-kehlata-hai.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/yeh-rishta-kya-kehlata-hai-250x150.jpg 250w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/yeh-rishta-kya-kehlata-hai-400x240.jpg 400w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24448" class="wp-caption-text">Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai</p></div>
<p><strong>3) Saath Nibhaana Saathiya</strong></p>
<p>Talking of simplicity, this show has been an eye-catcher for the lead character, Gopi who has been portrayed as a simpleton, bordering on a dumb woman. But, the makers and the channel have made sure that the IQ level of the lead protagonist is never questionable. May be the simplicity has touched a nerve somewhere and that’s why the fans are loving show since 2010! Five long years and still going strong by being one of the top three shows on Star Plus is not a mean task.</p>
<div id="attachment_24449" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Saath-Nibhana-Saathiya.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24449" class="size-full wp-image-24449" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Saath-Nibhana-Saathiya.jpg" alt="Saath Nibhaana Saathiya" width="650" height="344" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24449" class="wp-caption-text">Saath Nibhaana Saathiya</p></div>
<p><strong>4) Sasural Simar Ka</strong></p>
<p>This show was launched way back in 2011 and is still ruling the charts as far as Colors channel is concerned. It is about two sisters marrying in the same family and lots of misunderstandings, confusions, plotting and planning. Somehow, all the supposed weak points are ignored by the fans and despite knowing that whatever is happening is an eye-wash, they still keep watching the show day after day, week after week, thoroughly enjoying the proceedings which are obviously full of drama and twists and turns required for such a daily soap.</p>
<div id="attachment_24450" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Sasural-Simar-Ka-Poster.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24450" class="size-full wp-image-24450" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Sasural-Simar-Ka-Poster.jpg" alt="Sasural Simar Ka" width="650" height="404" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Sasural-Simar-Ka-Poster.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Sasural-Simar-Ka-Poster-644x400.jpg 644w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Sasural-Simar-Ka-Poster-95x60.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24450" class="wp-caption-text">Sasural Simar Ka</p></div>
<p><strong>5) Diya Aur Baati Hum</strong></p>
<p>A real show celebrating womanhood in India and showcasing the multi-tasking a woman has to go through in Indian society, this show is winning the hearts of its audience since 2011. Also, the best thing about this show is how a husband supports his wife through thick and thin which is not a normal scenario in a typical Indian household. May be this is what is making all those housewives love the show even more!</p>
<div id="attachment_24451" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Diya-Aur-Baati-Hum-TV-Series-Poster-Photo.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24451" class="size-full wp-image-24451" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Diya-Aur-Baati-Hum-TV-Series-Poster-Photo.jpg" alt="Diya Aur Baati Hum" width="650" height="366" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-24451" class="wp-caption-text">Diya Aur Baati Hum</p></div>
<p>These are not perfect shows, but the way they tell a story, the way they connect with their audience is praiseworthy. Hope many more such shows are launched which not only entertain, but are also superior in terms of content quality.</p>

<p>As if it wasn’t enough to have so many New Television Channels In India, more and more are making their debut to provide us what they think would be more entertainment for us.</p>
<p>True, we Indians hardly have any outdoor facilities for a wholesome family entertainment except going to malls (that too in few select cities!!) or watching movies, but it doesn’t mean that we should be bombarded with hordes of TV channels in the name of entertainment trying to dish out same old stuff at the same timing, just with new packaging!</p>
<p>This time it is about <strong>Zee TV’s</strong> new offering <strong>‘&amp;TV’</strong> getting launched on 2nd March’15.</p>
<div id="attachment_23432" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/and-tv-by-zee.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23432" class="size-full wp-image-23432" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/and-tv-by-zee.jpg" alt="&amp;tv by ZEE" width="600" height="350" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23432" class="wp-caption-text">&amp;tv by ZEE</p></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>It was only recently that Zee had launched another channel, <strong><em>Zindagi</em></strong> showcasing Pakistani serials which definitely got some great reviews based on an engaging and realistic content in fictional space.</p>
<div id="attachment_23433" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/zindagi-tv-channel.jpg.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23433" class="size-full wp-image-23433" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/zindagi-tv-channel.jpg.jpg" alt="Zindagi Channel by ZEE" width="600" height="231" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23433" class="wp-caption-text">Zindagi Channel by ZEE</p></div>
<p>However, with <strong>&amp;TV</strong>, it is entering the fiction show market with the kind of shows that we already see on other channels like <strong>Star Plus</strong>, <strong>Colors</strong>, <strong>Sony TV</strong> or <strong>Zee TV</strong> itself!</p>
<p><strong>&amp;TV</strong> is reportedly going to have four fictional shows to start off with namely, <strong><em>Begusarai, Razia Sultan, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!</em></strong> and <strong>Badii Devrani</strong>. While <strong><em>Razia Sultan</em></strong> is a historical show like many other historical shows running across various Hindi and regional channels, <strong><em>Begusarai</em></strong> is based on feudalism based in Bihar and trying to bring a local flavor for the audience. <strong><em>Bhabhi Ji..</em></strong> and <strong><em>Badii Devrani</em></strong> deals with social dramas in more or less a slice of life kind of way which sounds nice. However, none of these fictional shows are path-breaking or trying to give us something which isn’t already present on other channels.</p>
<p>Then what is the need for an entirely new channel? Is it because the shows have potential, but can’t replace other on-air shows? Or is the channel trying to hit the competition by having another fictional channel under its belt and divide the revenues?</p>
<p>Whatever be the reason, the only thing that matters is that as an audience member, you will have to remember another number on your remote for this channel and those paying for the channel packs, might have to shell out few extra bucks to try out this old recipe in new box! Who knows, this new dish might actually be tastier than what is being currently served!</p>
<p>By the way, to make sure that the new channel is a hit from the word go, they have roped in none other the King of Bollywood, <strong>Shahrukh Khan</strong> for a reality game show! Going by the track record of SRK’s hosting skills, it looks like a big gamble, but don’t write him off just yet; he might have some surprise up his sleeve!</p>
<p>We really wish that all these new channels do come up with something entertaining and out of box thinking so that we have a motivation to try out their shows for a change.</p>
<p>Or else, remote is still in our hands!</p>

Efforts to swipe off the crime from the face of the planet are on since the beginning of time, but fail to succeed.</p>
<p>However, in current times, Real Crime Shows On Indian TV have opened a new channel of revenues globally and India isn’t far behind in commercializing crime, without being a part of it in any manner!</p>
<p>Yes, we are talking about the growth of crime-based shows which tend to bring the whole process of a crime right in your living rooms. Fictionalizing the whole process, right from the thought, devices used, to the actual act of crime is documented in an interesting adrenaline-raising format and then fed to gullible audiences in the garb of showing something so as to avoid further crime happening.</p>
<p>The show which first caught the eyeballs was <strong>India’s Most Wanted</strong> way back in 1999 and became a huge hit. Following its footsteps are shows like <strong>Crime Patrol-Dastak, Saavdhan India</strong> and the latest to join them is <strong>Code Red</strong> on <strong>Colors</strong>, hosted by evergreen actress of Hindi TV, <strong>Sakshi Tanwar</strong>.</p>
<div id="attachment_22897" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Crime-Patrol.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-22897" class="size-full wp-image-22897" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Crime-Patrol.jpg" alt="Crime petrol Dastak" width="600" height="295" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-22897" class="wp-caption-text">Crime petrol Dastak</p></div>
<p>Is the new show different? Something special about it? Will it help the common man and specifically youth to do something different? All these and many more questions are being asked as to how such shows work for the benefit of the society. Frankly speaking, there are no parameters or benchmarks or evaluative, analytical studies to show the impact these have on society. The only thing that’s for sure is happening is that the producers and channels showing these shows are making money off them. Reason being the audience’s appetite for edgy shows which showcase the real world as it is.</p>
<div id="attachment_22898" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/saavdhan-india.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-22898" class="size-full wp-image-22898" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/saavdhan-india.jpg" alt="Saavdhan India" width="600" height="338" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-22898" class="wp-caption-text">Saavdhan India</p></div>
<p>However, the newness is soon disappearing as far as the content is concerned. After just a few stories, each show starts looking like the same covering same real happenings, in almost the same manner. Code Red has started with an interesting premise of motivating people to stand up against crime, but is it enough of a differentiator? In this rat race of TRP’s, is it ok to sensationalize crime without offering something substantial to prevent it? Well, for now this is what we have in terms of entertainment. This is an idea straight away lifted from Hollywood shows which work on the same fundamentals.</p>
<div id="attachment_22899" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/code-red.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-22899" class="size-full wp-image-22899" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/code-red.jpg" alt="Code Red" width="600" height="293" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-22899" class="wp-caption-text">Code Red</p></div>
<p>The only wish and hope we have is that these shows create a real awareness, help people to prevent crime and remain more alert in making sure that no crime in their surroundings go unnoticed!</p>
<p>Looking forward to some intellectually stimulating and interesting crime-based shows which make a difference in day to day life!</p>

<p>Obviously, the concept of time travel is so intriguing and exciting while the world of politics is so murky and many a times disappointing.</p>
<p>Only if these two merge, can we hope to enjoy them both. To fulfil this wish, Colors is bringing on your small screen, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat on colors TV which is replacing <strong>Bigg Boss 8!</strong></p>
<p>In a way, Bigg Boss was no less than an out and out political reality show where plotting and planning kept on happening day in and day out.</p>
<p>However, when it comes to the father of all political <em>gyan</em>, who better than our great <strong>Chanakya </strong>to learn from! Hence the show on the life of one of the greatest rulers to have ruled India, ever, <strong>Samrat Ashoka</strong>!</p>
<div id="attachment_22603" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Chakravartin-Ashoka-Samrat.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-22603" class="size-full wp-image-22603" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Chakravartin-Ashoka-Samrat.jpg" alt="Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" width="600" height="360" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Chakravartin-Ashoka-Samrat.jpg 600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Chakravartin-Ashoka-Samrat-250x150.jpg 250w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Chakravartin-Ashoka-Samrat-400x240.jpg 400w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-22603" class="wp-caption-text">Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat</p></div>
<p>Normally, historical shows don’t do that great as expected, primarily because of less interest in the history amongst the masses.</p>
<p>There are a few exceptions though, like the show on the life of <strong>Maharana Pratap</strong>.</p>
<p>More often than not, mythological shows have a better run due to obvious religious reasons.</p>
<p>But this time, the show on the life of Ashoka looks very promising. Not only because of a very high production value, but also because it will have Chanakya in a pivotal role. Last time Chanakya enlightened us with his wisdom was ages ago on Doordarshan and the youth of today would hardly relate with as dynamic a character as him. It was <strong>Chandraprakash Dwivedi</strong> who had brought Chanakya in our lives with an impeccable performance even with limited resources.</p>
<p>Therefore it is the need of the hour for today’s generation to know about one of the most intelligent men our country has ever produced and the best way is to showcase his works and teachings via an entertaining show. With increased budgets and better resources, there is a better chance of presenting an engaging show that sheds light on our glorious history and wise men whose words still hold true in this day and age of different circumstances but similar situations!</p>
<p>Today’s Chanakya is none other than the versatile actor, <strong>Manoj Joshi!</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_22604" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/colors-launches-chakravartin-ashoka-samrat.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-22604" class="size-full wp-image-22604" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/colors-launches-chakravartin-ashoka-samrat.jpg" alt="Colors launches Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat " width="600" height="360" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/colors-launches-chakravartin-ashoka-samrat.jpg 600w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/colors-launches-chakravartin-ashoka-samrat-250x150.jpg 250w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/colors-launches-chakravartin-ashoka-samrat-400x240.jpg 400w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-22604" class="wp-caption-text">Colors launches Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat</p></div>
<p>He has donned several hats from playing funny to extremely serious and mature characters in both movies and TV. He can surely be trusted to bring his own signature style even when playing a character as complex and difficult as Chanakya.</p>
<p>Let’s hope the show lives up to the curiosity it has created and presents a perfect blend of history and entertainment.</p>
