There was a time, when beggars were helpless and their only option was to beg.

Even while begging, their eyes used to be filled with shame and their tone of voice was utterly soft and low. Earlier, they used to beg and ask for the needed money only.

But nowadays, everything has changed and begging has become a business.

They are not asking money because they are helpless to do anything, but they are doing it for their own benefit. Their innocence is no more innocent and thus, it all goes to the high extent, when instead of keeping quiet, they keep troubling each and every person on the street.

Not only that much, some of the beggars behave so badly, that they even use words that are enough to upset each one of us. Apart from that, some beggars even abuse people who refuse to give ‘em money.

Some of you might’ve come across these harsh sayings- “Jise Malik Ne Diya Hai Wahi Dega”, Joh Deta Hai Or Joh Dene Wala Hai, Woh Bulakar Deta Hai”, “Joh Khud Nahi Kha Sakte Woh Bhala Dusron Ko Kyu Khilaenge”.

Today, the people who walk on the streets {Including you} clearly know that begging has become a business. Despite laws, the process of begging is not at all given any special attention.

That is why; Youngisthan has taken an initiative to remove the begging process. India is not a beggar’s country but it is a country that we all are proud of. Youngisthan wants other people to help us in this initiative, so that we make our INDIA beggar-free.

According to the reports, for 1 day, beggars earn minimum 1000 Rupees and during festive season, they earn total 2000 rupees. The rich ones, who force some people to beg every-day, take all the money and this is how the profession continues.

Beggars change their attire and religion too- For e.g. If area A consists of Hindu people, then they will dress up as Hindu and if area 2 consists of Muslim people, then they will dress up as Muslim’s.

Those who are in groups play smartly and divide time and places.

Some men are so smart that they send their wives and small kids to beg. Their wives then give emotional reasons and tell stories e.g. “My husband is not well” etc.

Many even attempted to get the beggars out of this business, but No, they are not at-all ready because for them begging taste better instead of hard-work.

This is the main reason why the organised gangs are taking advantage of begging in this manner. These gangs’ related people kidnap small children and force all of ‘em to beg and earn money.

This was the truth behind begging. So now, you’ve to decide whether you’ll keep giving ‘em money or take some action and help us to stop it.

We want all your support to make INDIA beggar-free.

If you really love and respect your country, then you’ve to make a move and start doing this work.

Firstly, when you go to temples, you must be giving 5-10 rupees to the beggars, right? So, the next time you go there, use this trick and tell them that you’ll give them money if they promise to give something in return. Tell them- “The next time I come here, you’ve to give me money to buy flowers and if you do so then while going I’ll give extra 5-10 rupees”.

If the beggar is really needy & helpless, then he’ll really think about what you just told him. And on the other side, your donation technique will go into the right hands.

If that beggar agrees then he’ll definitely feel self-sufficient but if he’s lazy, then he will never agree. Indirectly, this plan will somehow help you find out two things. One is, which beggars who sit near temples everyday are in need and second is, which ones are asking money just to have fun.

I know this isn’t as easy as it looks like and that’s why you have to be smart enough to deal with it. You need to do one more thing- The people who are selling flowers etc, you can tell them the plan and convince them to work on it too. Not every beggar but at-least 2-3 beggars will seriously respond to your plan.

Also, not just near temples, but the place where you’re staying, inform the people over there to do the same thing. Luckily if 1-2 beggars follow your plan, then all the other beggars will be forced to do the same thing. Cause’ if the agreed beggar buys flowers to worship then indirectly he is only getting more money.

Doing so will do two things i.e. beggars will get money and they’ll inspire others to get involved too. In reality, there are many people who want to help beggars but they simply don’t like their attitude and approach.

But this give-n-take trick will work out in a best way.

Now that you know about how to deal with the beggars, tell your friends to do the same thing. If you seriously want to make India beggar-free, then you can join Youngisthan’s campaign as well.

That’s why you’ll see that the beggars in India will choose certain locations where people can easily give them money. Thus, these beggars always give more priority to colleges and hospitals.

These days, large numbers of beggars outside colleges and hospitals to beg. Because these beggars easily get high amount of money out there.

Also, this is because people in our country mostly believe a lot in God and prayers, and the people who are present in the hospital are mostly in some kind of a trouble.

At this time, such beggars come towards these troubled people and they say “Babuji, don’t worry”. The God is very kind. Have faith in God and everything will be alright. There is a power in prayer over medicine. Prayer can give life to dead ones as well. And during this time, the families of patients start thinking that maybe this beggar’s prayer will help them out. So, they easily give them high amount of money. And that’s how, beggars earn money. These beggars very well learn how to catch feelings of people in trouble.

That’s why, when people arrive at the hospital, they think that money is not everything in life. For this reason, people become emotional and then they tend to give more money to the beggars. Because of this reason, these days hospital seems to be the No.1 location for many beggars out there.

Similarly, beggars stand outside colleges as well. Well, near colleges too, these beggars earn money with very less effort. Nowadays the students who come here to learn are kind towards human’s emotions and that’s why they give money.

When an elderly, female or child beggars come near colleges and hospitals, then many people (students) feel that they might be hungry or are very poor in life, and due to this they might be finding difficulty in living life. So, the students give them money out of their pocket money thinking that less money won’t ruin their fun. Plus, they also think that giving them money will at-least bring a smile on their face.

Especially when they see a child begging outside the college, they think that if their parents were rich enough, then maybe this child would’ve been in school reading something knowledgeable.

Apart from that, I believe that you know that there are thousands of students in colleges and universities who take an education. Out of these students, if 100 students give them at-least 2 rupees, then they are free to spend day and night without worries.

This is the only reason why beggars turn towards colleges and hospitals to earn money.

The beggary problem in India never seems to end.

Instead, it is rising day by day (as if it is a profession). The beggars on road are seen asking for money & not just that, their condition looks miserable.

Whether you are going to Mandir, or simply heading towards your work, or standing at a bus stop to return home for that matter, you’ll only hear one voice i.e. “Allah Ke Naam Pe Dede”.

Frankly, whenever I see these beggars roaming to ask money, it makes me feel as if “India is a beggar’s country”.

In terms of donation, India was always known for its unique tradition of donating money. Remember ? But now if it continues to take over by beggars asking for money on the streets, then you can easily picture how India will look like in the coming years.

A scenario which no tourist would love to see nor we Indians. Right?

(Picture this) Whenever we go out & look here & there, all we see is beggars sitting on the corners of the streets, holding bowls in their hands. Well, if this keeps happening then undoubtedly, at some point of time “Beggary problem” will be an incurable disease.

If we see the darker side of beggary, then there are many beggars who easily beg and earn money, only to spend it at night by drinking alcohol etc. This indirectly indicates that “begging” can be considered as source of income.

As of now, beggary problem is rising and many gangs are trying to take its advantage. Firstly, they kidnap small children and tell ‘em to beg and earn money. Even disabled people are forced to do the same thing. Even though the Government had earlier taken an action, it quickly faded away and now the problem is rising too much. It has come to that point where beggars are now being used for bad matters. And somehow, this is only spoiling India’s name.

Therefore, now it’s time to eliminate this beggary problem and take a quick action to make India a “Beggar Free” country. We are proud to say, “Youngisthan” has taken an initiative to eliminate the problem from India. And we also know that our readers will help us spread this message and take an initiative to do the same thing.
