Different parts of countries have their natives who are recognized due to their cultures. There also exists a country in Australia that lives with unity and joy but without any culture. It is a country where there is no particular existence of cultures.

Why is Australia known to be without any culture?

The country of kangaroos and the pink lake does not need any cultural reasons to be together. There are several reasons that this place without any culture prefers their extreme core of heart.

Fewer worries

No worries are the first thing that anyone will realize from the start. Free from following any indigenous culture. It can be music, dance, or rituals no one is bound to follow or believe unless they feel so.

Though it acts as a drawback when they have nothing to show about their culture. Contrary it gives greater freedom to stay worry-free as the place and its people look forward to unity. Europeans in the 18th century migrated to Australia that slowly formed into a colony. Australia shows their influences are from the British people.

Explore without limits

Nature in itself is a gift to the country. Adorned with beautiful lakes, forests, Australia has its natural individuality. From the great barrier reef to Fraser island, there are widened views to explore. Australia’s scenic beauty is unlimited and without any bindings. People from Australia or tourists’ exploration of nature of seas, mountains to the forests. Though there is less culture and ethnicity in the country, nature is itself a blessing to the country.

Diversity in culture

Though the European migration was thousands of years ago, Australians were not able to develop any ethnic tradition or culture. Slowly people from different parts of the world started to settle in the land of kangaroos. The diversity arises from various ranges including the small islands making it one of the smallest continents. Ensure to provide diversified life with the changes of the places. It was the driest continent that did not inspire human life, it was a barren land with no living. But the settlement of people from different parts has enabled them to bring in a diversified view in culture.

Is Peace and friendliness any culture?

Migration to the vast ranges of islands and cities of Australia did not intend to develop any differences among the locals. It led to the improvement of feelings of peace and friendliness the need of all cultures. People work throughout the week, love to spend weekends in the lap of nature and due to the low population, the place is less messy. Calm and peace are present among the Australians living for ages or the newcomers who have migrated recently.

On one side Australia without any culture has a drawback when it is not able to show its tradition but on the contrary, it gives a greater value to the people living in the country or continent.

Their behavioral features and characteristics continue to astonish science. The birth of Offspring or newborns in animals is mesmerizing, while few show weirdness that does not follow the common rules of nature. Some animals give birth through eggs and few have babies. But this is a unique blessing to the animal Platypus, who can give egg and milk. It may be a weird experience that veterinary science has observed.

Distinctive nature As Mammal

Platypus has a distinctive behavior as a mammal. Mammal’s common nature is to give birth to babies and feed them with milk. On other hand, it can an amphibian living in water or the avian flying high in the air they lay eggs.

In 1884, it was discovered by the Scottish scientist, William Hay Cadwell, and his team that this strange duck-billed animal does lay eggs. The strange part that made it one of the evolutions from the birds and mammals is the function of the left ovary. They possess mammary glands, but they lack the teats. Milk is released from the pores of the platypus skin.

The weird behavior of Platypus, as it gives egg and milk. It has given a new view for evolution that connects two clauses. Reproducing from the eggs the newborn is fed with the mother’s milk-secreting from the mother’s skin pores. Babies are born with teeth but it finally falls. Later they have horny plates which are used to biting and grinding down their foods.

Another amazing part of the Platypus that it is monotreme. It glows when they are exposed to a black light in green bluish color. Monotremes are one of the main parts of the mammals from the groups of mammals. It is one with the features and functions of meroblastic cleavage. The ovum does split partially and the yolk containing the embryo exchanges food with the waste as well as the nutrients with the cytoplasm.

Life of a Platypus weird as it gives egg and milk

Platypus is the Best swimmers fast and introverted, simply opposite to the dolphins. They are calm, shy so, it is not possible to see them easily. How do they look? They are also known as the duck-billed platypus. It can live both on land and water. Due to less availability, it is enlisted among endangered species seen in Southern parts of Australia.

The strange reproduction has made this one of the iconic animals of Australia. The Platypus does have similar features that are in other water animals. At the same time, being a mammal has driven a chance to show an evolution in biology. It is the animal emblem of New South Wales, a stunning creature from the origin of the parts in Australia.

Firstly seen in the European countries 1798, but it is their nature that led to controversy. It was difficult to believe and determine their dual reproductive procedure. Finding them swimming in the rivers of Australian forests of the Alps, Queensland is possible. It was in 1975, that there was a doubt of extinction, but later after years, they are found in ranges of Australia.

The Desert of Coober Pedy is one of the hottest places in Australia that withstands the highest temperature during the summer. Australian people being the locals in this area have to make their space underground to protect themselves from the severe heat of the sun. The temperature of the sun during the summertime may rise to 120 degrees which is difficult to bear. This is the reason the underground provision has been built to experience low heat. Even in shades, the temperature is minimum to 35 degrees which is not tolerable on consistent exposure.

About more than 1700 local Australian people are staying underground to prevent the heat in the scorchy summer. Dust storms are common in the area of the Coober Pedy.

Underground homes By Australian People

Homes are beautifully arranged with bedrooms, washrooms, a kitchen, and living rooms. There is a small city underground in the desert which consists of all the amenities. The unsuitable place with the chilling moonlight at night and the unbearable summer heat of the desert encouraged them to build their houses under the desert sands.

The expansion of the underground city has led to the creation of swimming pools, bars, and hotels. Apart from the local bars and restaurants it also has churches for them to pray. A small city in the Coober Pedy is habitable and people are enjoying their best lifestyles similar to other cities. Spaces for playing sports that can be indoor are possible in the underground desert of the Coober Pedy.

What about daily shopping or marketplaces? Walking in the desert till far places there are no shops except the mirages on the sand. But just below the ground is a complete place with shops and markets that enable people to meet their regular requirements. Book stalls, stationeries, and grocery stalls are present in the small underground city of Coober Pedy.

This Australian town is underground. People return from work and school regularly to their homes. The temperature below is consistent throughout the year that maintains to 22 degrees.

Australian people are miners in Coober Pedy

It has been years that people are staying underground in the desert. The miners and diggers have found the place for the availability and selling of Opals. Coober Pedy is considered the Opal Capital of the World. Miners who stay here in the area dig out opals that are sold all over the world.

This desert may be rich in the extraction of minerals, but the climate conditions are not all suitable for the miners. In 1915 they decided to find out a way to survive and work at the same time in the areas of the hot sands.

To overcome the problem of surviving in the unbalanced temperature the miners constructed the underground town. Cutting the rocks underground to shape the walls to form rooms with all possible commodities has made it the best. People can easily resist and protect themselves from sun heat, chilled temperature, and dust storms. Australian people of the desert can go to mining work and return home to have a sound sleep.

After hundreds of decades, these games stay in the heart of the people and the team has been ranking to the top as one of the leading teams in world cricket. The first match started was played in 1932 after which you will find many Nawabs and sophisticated royal families playing international matches .

Few of interesting historical facts about Indian cricketers and cricket are as follows:

Madness about the cricket players and cricket among the people has been ever after increasing that it was a time that one of the popular players was kissed publicly. It was in 1960, the Australia and India match when Abbas Ali Baig was openly kissed by one of his fans, the match was held in Brabourne Stadium while he was kissed by an Australian pretty lady.

In 1946, the 8th Nawab of Pataudi who had led the team of India as the captain and played in the tour of England. The main interesting fact about this captain Nawab Md Iftikhar Ali Khan Siddiqui Pataudi was that apart from playing in the Indian cricket team it was earlier during the test matches in 1932 and 1934 he played for the England team. It was later that being an Indian he played for Indian cricket, he played for both the countries India and England.

India won the world cups two times in the Lords. One was in 1983 and the other was in 2011 as if Lords has been the most favorable place to win for the Indian cricketers. Another amazing fact about the cricket world cup captains has previously played the world cups.

Ishant Sharma has been the record holder of the highest score of batsman among the recent players of Indian cricket. While it is Saurav Ganguly who has been scoring 100, at the World Cup in the final stages.

Other amazing facts of the Indian cricketers and cricket are that it was beyond any boundaries and maybe for this reason we have seen Sachin Tendulkar playing for Pakistan in a friendly exhibition match which was played in 1987 between India and Pakistan. Though time has changed now along with the growing issues between the countries.

Test crickets are the traditional forms that began with the onset of the Indian cricket match but the best part of cricket and Indian cricketers is that only one Indian player has been able to sustain to win three centuries in the first three tests matches. Azharuddin is the only player to win and it is an interesting record till now.

Till today Indian cricketers have been creating amazing records and the match itself is the passion of Indians. You will see every Indian to watch from the test crickets to 20s with the same interest that has inspired to create top Indian cricket world players and set interesting facts from the day it started.

There are countries that don’t practice any of these and there are a few that have set example in the global forefront by abiding by those simple rules. The societal ills and atrocities tend to tarnish the overall image of a country and when we take personal inventory into corrective methods, our small steps bring big changes. Every citizen, after all, should imbibe some basic ethics that make a country a better place for the generations to come. Here are handful of names of such countries that teach us a thing or two about unity, empathy, altruism and living for others:

Sweden:

This tops the list of happiest countries of the world consistently because of the satisfaction level of the citizens. For example, if you want to probe into the fact as to what makes these countrymen so happy, simply visit a small coffee shop where you will be faced with the tradition of Fika, which is “break time” where locals meet, greet and eat pastries together in an act of merrymaking.

Australia:

The main reason why Australia is deemed to be the happiest country in the world is that it has very low pollution level and of course, high level of civic engagement. Australia, aside from that, is very popular for arranging barbecue in national parks or outdoor places where they offer free or coin-operated grills which unites people over food.

New Zealand:

This is a thriving ecological paradise beaming with the gorgeous sight of Blue Mountains to the wild Penguins. This biodiverse paradise in the world prides on the ecological balance which obviously is accredited to human hard work. If you are in New Zealand, you should not miss visiting the Volcano, ancient Maori sites and raters at Tongariro and Whanaguni National Parks.

Canada:

Canada is the symbol of unity and boasts on being the most culturally diverse country in that bargain. visitors can learn the art of mushing during winter’s dogsledding season in the parts of the northwest along the old Trans-Canada Highway. The adventure junkies can hike the slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and Canada’s many national parks are there to take your breath away.

Finland:

A rather interesting custom that lures the visitors in the country is the Sauna. Yes, you can drain your worries in the Finnish Sauna. More interestingly, it has 3.3 million saunas throughout the country despite of having 5.2 million people.

Well, we believe that you have already figured out that these are the best travel destinations in the world whose law and order are in place too. These countries are, over the year, largely thronged by visitors and no wonder they return all contented.

Apart from that, the records being broken, the sweet victory on Sri Lankan soil after 22 years is all going to be a part of cherished memories for years to come. It is not every day that a team full of such youngsters and players who are in and out of the team come together as a unit and give a stunning performance like this.

What exactly happened here? What changed?

There will be a detailed analysis obviously and the team management is going to find out what actually worked so that the same formula can be repeated in future as well. Next test match series is with South Africa and that will be the real challenge. But let’s first focus on how things have worked out at the moment and have that somehow made M S Dhoni irrelevant to the team?

First of all, it is all about Virat Kohli’s persona, charisma and the aggressiveness that has rubbed on his team members. Most of them are around his age and somehow can relate to his body language as well as mental attitude. The hunger for winning a match has somehow been clearly visible. Instead of being passive and trying to avoid losing a match, the players seemed in a mindset to go out and conquer the world! The fear of losing is out and passion for winning is in! Whether it is Ishant Sharma who bowled his heart out or Amit Mishra’s come back with such a beautiful spell or Ashwin’s phenomenal performance, the credit goes to them as much as to their captain Kohli who has been able to support them and give them the freedom to give their best.

With Dhoni, the team looked jaded, tired and in a reclusive mode even before the match started. It used to look as if they were touring to draw the series or to save their face, instead of showing the mindset to win. Also, Dhoni’s tactics in a test-match usually looked defensive instead of attacking or aggressive, the way he acts in a one-day match or T20!

It is just one series and the jury is still out whether the same set of boys can repeat this feat against stronger and tougher teams like South Africa, England and Australia, but the change is in the air. Dhoni is definitely an amazing captain and player in one-dayers, but the kind of change Virat is bringing in, would it be possible for the boys to perform under two different captains in two different formats of the game? Would they be able to give their best in one-days the way they performed in test matches? How would the team composition change under different captains?

All these questions will pose a challenge for Indian cricket per se and it would be interesting to see how Dhoni copes up with the changed dressing room! We still need Dhoni, but going by the trends, soon he may not be missed much!

Better days are ahead, for sure!

Excited?

Looking forward to some interesting cricket since the minnows (read: Bangladesh) have grown up and becoming a challenge in the local neighbourhood?

Well, next few days will prove how big a challenge they are if challenge is the right word to be used in their context, that is! What’s more interesting is that there are some surprises in store and the best surprise is that this India Bangladesh series will not benefit India at all!

Let’s share how this did happen:

1) Right now India is place at the second place and the gap between leading side Australia and India is quite huge. Therefore even a 3-0 win over Bangladesh will not help India to reach the top of the charts!

2) On the other hand, even if Bangladesh loses the series 2-1, they would still qualify to participate in the 2017 Champions Trophy from June 1-19 in England and Wales! Only way they can lose out on the chance is if they lose 3-0 and lag behind West Indies with both the teams tied at 88 points, but the Caribbean team leading on the eight spot!

3) For India, a 2-1 loss would mean we equal the points with New Zealand but still lie under them given how excitingly they are playing against England right now!

4) While Virat Kohli is on fourth spot on the list of best batsmen, Shikhar Dhawan is at 7th spot and M.S. Dhoni is at 9th spot!

5) Coming to Dhoni, this will really test his equation with Virat Kohli. After taking over test captaincy and right during the test match conference, Virat gave a statement that the era of learning is over and it is time to play to win the test matches! This is stark opposite to what Dhoni has been saying for all these years about learning from every game and taking home the lessons to prepare for next game.

Virat’s aggressive attitude and change in body language was clearly visible during the match and his approach towards the game might come across as contradictory to Dhoni’s style of captaincy! Can they work on it or will it create internal secret feuds?

There can be many more surprises going into the game, but we really hope that things remain smooth and beneficial for the ultimate benefit of the game.

Let the best team win. However, we really wished if this series mattered to India more than it matters to Bangladesh!

No ways we are saying that the team should be taken lightly, but then our cricketing heroes got to play some difficult teams to come out shining rather than taming the minnows!

Let the game begin and with that, the fun!

Benaud was renowned for being one of the best all-round cricketers displaying skills in lower order batting and leg spin bowling. In first-class cricket, he amassed 945 wickets and scored over 11,000 runs at an average of 39.50.

The former Australian cricketer and captain retired in 1964 after a successful international career thereby focussing on broadcasting and journalism. The last time Benaud was heard commentating was during the 2005 Ashes series.

Richie Benaud commentated the last time during the 2005 Ashes series

When it came to cricket commentary, many individuals in the commentary box looked up to him for not only the fashion in which he delivered updates, but also his witty puns. One of his popular witticisms included Glenn McGrath, when the Australian tail ender got out for two runs, “And Glenn McGrath dismissed for two, just ninety-eight runs short of his century”.

The news of Richie’s death led to tributes flooding on different social media platforms. He had an inspiring career and was glorious when it came to mic skills.

The story of Benaud becoming a true Test cricketer begins in Australia’s 1957 tour of South Africa. The following year, he was handed the team’s reins, which was a massive achievement in his personal career.

Richie Benaud as photographed in 1961

Richie Benaud was also responsible for Australian cricket team opening its arms to the media, which was not a common practice before he became the captain.

The person who was responsible for teaching leg spin to Benaud was his father. Richie went on to master the art of traditional leg spin bowling and added other weapons like the flipper, googly and top spinner to his arsenal.

Since making his international debut for Australia in 1952, Benaud was part of 63 Test matches (28 of which he captained). As captain, he won five out of the seven Test series taking Australia to the top of world cricket in the process.

The former Australian cricketer was also a hit among the local cricket followers. On numerous instances, the fans parodied his look in the stands wearing a white wig, posh suit and a microphoneRichie Benaud was part of the Channel Nine commentary team that included legends such as Tony Grieg, Ian Chappell and Mark Taylor.

In 1961, Richie was offered the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his contributions towards the game of cricket. He is survived by his wife of 48 years and two children.

Maybe it was fatigue, nerves or whatever, our tall-order batsmen lost it and India failed to achieve the score set by the Kangaroos or even getting close to it!

Well, what is done is done and now New Zealand meets Australia in their first ever Cricket world cup final matches. New Zealand already brought South Africa to tears after winning a match most people thought they wouldn’t!

Here are 5 reasons why New Zealand might just clinch their first-ever world cup victory in their first-ever final match:

Australian Middle-Order Isn’t That Strong

If Australians Aaron Finch, Steve Smith and David Warner’s wickets are clinched in the early overs, the Aussie middle order containing Glenn Maxwell, Shane Watson and Michael Clarke might choke to pressure since they have performed below par in this World Cup in comparison to their actual strike rates and their capabilities. If New Zealand can keep up their pace attack like they did against SA, their match win is imminent.

Australia

Melbourne Cricket Ground Factor

Yes, it might be the home ground to the Aussies and a mecca of cricket for them, but the NZ players have played a lot of matches on this ground in the erstwhile tri-series. Australia played their opening match against England at this ground and had won the match, but England was a much weaker team in comparison to NZ.

Melbourne Ground

Corey Anderson–The All-Rounder!

This fiery bowler is himself capable of knocking down the Aussie army. His 3 wickets for 72 runs are what broke South Africa’s attack in the Semi-finals. He may be costlier on the runs side, but he takes crucial wickets, especially when his attack is complemented by Daniel Vettori and Trent Boult’s spells. He can score big runs with the bat too to compensate for lost runs. AB de Villers broke his record of the fastest hundred in ODIs. Corey’s personal best was 100 runs in just 36 balls!

Corey Anderson

Grant Elliot – The Superman!

This man decimated South Africa in the Semi Finals and is sure to repeat the process for Australia as well! His 84 not out against SA in just 73 balls is what won New Zealand that nail-biting match which most experts had thought NZ will lose. He is like the Dhoni of New Zealand – 100% dependable!

Grant Elliott

Unbeaten Record

Yes, you guessed it right! NZ is still unbeaten in this world cup! Like a Spartan against the 4_time World cup champions! This team has not lost any match, but Australia lost a few during their sojourn towards the finals.

If NZ wins this final, they are going to create history for themselves – beating champions Australia, at their home ground in their first ever World Cup Finals! Imagine the headlines that would be, if this actually happens!

The Aussies have tasted world cup success 4 times and it would be exciting to see what New Zealand, the first-time final finishers bring in to the game that promises to be a nail-biter owing to New Zealand’s thrilling display of sportsmanship this season right from the tri-series against Australia and India and this World Cup.

We feel the Aussies might choke just like India or the South Africans at the last moment and might accidentally gift a befitting victory to the New Zealanders.

Unbeaten

Where West Indies convincingly beat UAE, Pakistan took their own time to strike the final blow against Ireland.

Though it was an easy win for West Indies, they had to chase whatever the target set inside 36 overs. They managed to do that in the 31st over after losing 4 wickets.

Jason Holder, the West Indies captain, was extremely pleased with the result and must have revelled in his own individual performance of 4 for 27.

West Indies captain Jason Holder celebrates a wicket

“We needed to win by a certain margin. We had to show positive intent. We knew we had to finish the game inside 36 overs and we did it”, is what he said during the post-match presentation ceremony.

The final Pool match between Pakistan and Ireland saw Pakistani wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed become the first man since 2007 World Cup to score a century for his team in this major tournament.

Sarfraz Ahmed scored an unbeaten century against Ireland

The conclusion of yesterday’s matches meant that the World Cup has its eight quarter-finalist teams – South Africa, Sri Lanka, India, New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and West Indies – that will compete against one another for the coveted prize.

The first quarter-final match will be played on 18th March between Sri Lanka and South Africa. Defending champions India will take on their Asian adversary Bangladesh on the 19th in Melbourne. Australia, the four-time former World Cup champion, will face Pakistan on March 20. The quarter-finals will end with co-host New Zealand taking on West Indies on the 21st of March in Wellington.

Where the post-match programme Cricket Live yesterday saw the cricket legends predicting winners of the quarter-finals as South Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand, it will only be on the match day when we get to witness as to which teams handle the pressure better.

In case any of the quarter-final / semi-final matches gets abandoned or tied, the team that finished in a higher position than their opponent would move on to the next stage of the competition.

All teams – the frontrunners and the minnows – are prepping for one of the toughest battles they will ever face.

If the 2011 World Cup in the Asian subcontinent was a difficult tour for cricketing nations, the pitches in Australia and New Zealand will have their share of troubles to offer.

This time around, however, the ICC has decided to make certain tweaks to the already existing rules; the format though will be similar to the previous edition with ten teams participating.

Two New Balls

Two new balls will be used

White ball degrades sooner than the red cherry, which is why, not too long ago, ICC came up with the rule to replace the new ball with a semi-new ball after 34 overs. This caused a lot of troubles for fast bowlers, as they reported not being able to reverse swing the semi-new ball, which actually is possible with an old, worn out ball. During the 2015 edition of the World Cup, teams will be provided two new balls each, which is sure to make batting all the more interesting. Again, reverse swing will be rarely be in the picture.

Powerplays and Fielding Restrictions

The change of having four fielders instead of five within the 30-yard circle was made in 2012 and ICC will stick to that rule. You will also notice that there will be only two sections of powerplay instead of three. The first powerplay will be the mandatory one that comes into play in the first ten overs. The second one will be used by the batting side, but before the 40th over, where three fielders will be allowed outside the 30-yard circle instead of two.

Decision Review System

The DRS will be altered

The Decision Review System has always been seen as an interesting addition to cricket, as more often than not, it helps umpires make the right decision. Real-Time Snickometer and Hot Spot are often part of the DRS. This year’s World Cup will not include Hot Spot, but Real-Time Snickometer will be made available. Also, the initially practised 2.5 metre rule for lbw has been increased to 3 metres.

Super Overs Only in Finals

Super Overs will be applicable only for the Finals

In the 2011 World Cup, ICC introduced Super Overs in all matches that ended in a tie, in order to decide a winner. In 2015, Super Overs will feature only in the Finals, if the need be. The earlier edition featured the one-over eliminator in the knockout stage, but has been eliminated altogether for this year’s tournament.

The Winner’s Fee

The winning team will make 25% more money

The winner’s fee for the 2015 ICC World Cup has been increased by 25% as compared to the set prize money for the 2011 World Cup. If a team goes unbeaten throughout the tournament, like Australia did in 2007 World Cup, it can earn more than $4 million. Also, for the first time in World Cup history, the teams that do not reach the quarter-finals will also be compensated.
