Making sweets for any sweet dishes requires sugar is mandatory. It can be e a porridge or just a cup of tea without sugar there is a lack of taste. Sugar as spice not sweetener? Days have changed

In the Modern Times, sugar is used less due to the different problems related to obesity and other diseases. Sugars are used in candies chocolate cakes and various other sweets. This fine Spice was later extracted from honey it was in 10,000 BC that in Asia and Africa beehives were the only source of sweeteners. In 8000 sugar was cultivated in New Guinea therefore after several centuries it was traded to India. Till then India was using honey, when sugar reached India history mentions that the first refined sugar was produced here itself, from 100 AD.

But as the demand for sugar increased it led to the production of crops by exporting slaves from countries such as Brazil. Television is important in Britain culture but for kids, it is after 9 pm. To reduce the increase of junk food the Britain Government is banning the advertisements on the same. No unsuitable movies or series for kids to be telecasted till 9 pm.

Life is different in the USA, kids gear up with the modern cartoon and movie channels. They do not have any bans on unsuitable shows on television.

Marriage culture

American’s marriage seems to be luxurious compared to the Britain weddings. Weddings in the UK are simple and are mostly casual dresses. It may be casual but the guests wear the hats, so-called the meal of the wedding night served is called the wedding breakfast. Britain wedding cake must be a fruitcake but in the USA the wedding cake is beautifully decorated including cupcakes.

Britain doesn’t get easy with strangers

British people love to mind their own business and never like to talk to an unknown or stranger. They do not like to speak or talk when traveling around in public. But the lifestyle of Americans varies as they love to talk to strangers if can be while purchasing goods in a shopping mall or while walking on the roads.

Houses are small but beautiful in Britain

All the rich people, billionaires, or trillionaire indeed have their luxurious apartments in the USA. As it is the country that people enjoy luxury in their lifestyle. But another difference between the Americans and British is the latter have small houses, they are happy with it. The expenses variation can be pointed with a bottle of coke when a regular coke in Britain is small to 150 ml quantity. They believe to have small and happy with much time in leisure.

On one side the life runs at a fast pace, people are busy working hard for a high salary and increasing the standard of living. While on other hand Britain live the life of minimalists.

Over more than five centuries that Native Americans are still called Indians. It has been years that discoverer and explorer Christopher Columbus had found America. Confusing America with India he had introduced this continent as India. Indigenous people were known as Indians after its discovery. 

Through the sea route, Columbus had traveled throughout the world was looking for the Indus valley civilization. In the 15th century instead of reaching India, he reached to American continents. Native are thereafter known as Indians. 

Native Americans are still called Indians

Often people may confuse Indians with the Asian country. But it is true that apart from India, Asia the natives of America are known the same. The languages of the Native and the First Nations people differ but the former is believed to know the Algonquian group’s language. There are changes and differences observed even after many years with the formation of the New World. 

The Algonquian group’s language is from the Northern part of America. The groups range from the North to the Rocky mountains. Though the continent has been changing with time adapting to modern ways and people. Open-minded to new ideas and life but the changes in languages can be realized from one range to another. This language has given many words or vocabulary to the English language. Inspired by the Algonquian nation there are also few names of states and cities. Michigan, Connecticut, and Delaware are stated from the origin. Odawa people live in Ottawa, which is the capital of Canada. 

The connection of the indigenous people, language have now blended with the First Nation. They are separated from the rests part of the continent but their individuality can still be realized. Few more groups that are added to the lists are the Eskimos and Native Alaska. 

 Culture of The Indians 

Though the continent was discovered a few centuries back they were living in the continent from 12,000 BC approximately. There were widespread of not one but various indigenous groups with changes in culture. It proved that the settlement in South America was longer. Variations in culture, lifestyle, and food existed which pointed at the years of developments. 

Utes people are the settlements that are seen at the Great Basin. Utah is the state in the US, one of the oldest places that were named after its people Utes. Similar to the name of ancient places, the state was renamed, another well-known is the Okla Homma, derived from Oklahoma.

America is the world’s only superpower yet!

Yes, there are a lot of countries trying to replace it and amongst them India is a worthy contender. However, we are still far away from occupying such an envious position of power!

Do we want to be a world superpower?

Of course, yes!

Can we become one?

Well, there are no clear answers for this as a lot depends on how we act, rather than our boastful statements of predicting that this century belongs to India thanks to ever growing population and nothing else to support the superpower status! Truly speaking, we have become wannabes of being a superpower than rightfully deserving of the coveted title!

Let’s bring to you 5 topmost reasons as to why India is not a superpower yet!:

1) Disrespect for Our Own History

For a country’s growth, it is important for its people to understand and respect its cultural history and legacy. Knowing is not enough! One has to know and then learn lessons so as not to repeat the mistakes. All we care about as a nation is our independence struggle and that too in bits and parts. On top of it, we hardly learn anything from it; leave aside implanting the lessons learnt! Try visiting any museum in the country and watch people behaving there. You’ll get what we’re saying!

2) Discipline Missing

Are we the disciplined lots? Do we throw garbage in bins? Do we spit on the walls? Do we urinate in public places? Do we behave like mature people when in a public place? There are tons of questions like this and sadly the answer to all is same: we are not disciplined at all! It doesn’t take only the military capabilities to be a superpower, but also the people power that yes, the citizens are sensible and grown-up enough to handle such a position of power!

3) Responsibility of Actions Severly Unavailable

Again, we are the first ones to blame everyone and everybody for anything wrong happening in life. May be it is the government or the neighbours or family or anyone who can be made the scapegoat for our own collective failures. The day we learn to take responsibility for our own actions, the entire nation will change!

4) Utterly Crazy About Money

There is no harm in being a capitalist country, but one should not ignore other aspects of life. Earning money and making huge profits is the basic right for every human being, but there has to be a balance when it comes to quality of life, following ethics, morals and principals and making sure that the value of money is not more than the intangibles that make life worth living!

5) Equalled Value of Human Life Diminishing

Only one individual or only his near and dear ones should succeed is not the right way for a country to grow. Till the time we don’t value human life on a broader level, there can’t be any substantial growth. The quality of life of every individual has to be on par. No differentiation on the basis of caste, colour, creed or religion should be followed so that everyone gets equal opportunities to contribute to the society and achieve their dreams and desires. Every death due to some stupid preventable accident or dowry death or a cold-blooded murder (read abortion) of a foetus should hurt us for change to happen!

We have to work together if we want our country to progress and be a land of happiness and prosperity. Nothing can be achieved by blaming the government and past experiences for our today’s failures.

Let’s join hands and make our country proud and let it reach the position, that it so very well deserves!
