XOLO Q1100 with 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU has been launched in India at Rs 14,999. It will rival the recently launched Motorola Moto G in the Indian market
Just within days of Motorola launching its latest budget smart phone, XOLO mobiles have presented its all-new Q1100 device to rival the Moto G. Expanding the Q series of smart phones, XOLO has now listed the new Q1100 on their official website with a price tag that reads Rs 14,999. However, the company has not yet released the details about the availability of the smart phone. But we reckon, the official announcement will come forward in the next two or three days.
The highlight of the XOLO Q1100 is the fact that it comes installed with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which makes it the latest Android version in XOLO’s smart phone line up. Furthermore, it also makes is easier for the user to update their devices with the latest Android updates.
Specs-wise, the XOLO Q1100 features of a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720X1280 pixel resolution and boasts of One Glass Solution (OGS). It comes equipped with a more than decent 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM. The device also offers dual SIM (GSM-GSM) support. Stock internal memory is only 8GB, but users will be able to expand up to 32GB via micro SD memory card. On the flip side, the smart phone packs an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper that features autofocus, LED flash, BSI sensor and full HD (1080p) video recording. At the front there is a 2-megapixel camera for video calls.
Other highlights of the XOLO Q1100 include HSPA+ and HSUPA connectivity, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS support. It is also worth noting that the smart phone is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, which is yet to be rated by the company. The battery pack is said to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time and 600 hours of standby time on 2G network.
The XOLO Q1100 is being offered in a Black color variant. The XOLO Q1100 is mid-range phone that boasts of quite a few decent features for the price it demands. Yes, the Q1100 costs a little more than the Moto G.
However, to be honest both the smart phones, the XOLO Q1100 and the Moto G have their own pros and cons. It boils down to the matter of user preference, depending upon their individual needs.
