1. Maharashtrian poha
This nutritious meal is not only tasty but will make you feel fuller longer.
Ingredients : Poha, chopped onions, boiled potatoes, chilies, lemon juice, sugar, salt, oil, mustard seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, ground nuts and fresh coconut to garnish.
How to prepare:
- Wash and rinse the poha and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in the pan. Add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add asafoetida, turmeric powder, onion, boiled potatoes and green chillies.
- Add a pinch of sugar and salt as per your taste.
- Add water and poha and mix everything well.
- Add fried ground nuts as toppings.
- Cover and cook for five minutes and garnish with fresh coconut and stir fried nuts.
