India is on a verge of a change. May 16 will see a radical change in our Indian ministry and it is most likely to be touted towards Narendra Modi.

India is on a verge of a change. May 16 will see a radical change in our Indian ministry and it is most likely to be touted towards Narendra Modi. Even if politics and elections continue to hog the limelight, don’t forget the razzmatazz and the hullabaloo of the Indian Premier League. A blend of Indian cricketers and foreign talent, is taking the country by storm. Even though Indian cricketers remain true to their sport, what if for one day, they could have been our ministers? So here it is our Indian cricketers as Parliamentarians. Check them out:

MS Dhoni – Prime Minister

No ideas for guessing for this post. MS Dhoni has been one of India’s successive skippers home and abroad and if there was any post that the man from Ranchi could take on in the Parliament that would be the PM! Dhoni for PM anybody!

Yuvraj Singh – Finance Minister

collage2

The Finance Ministry requires an individual who could keep all the budgets of the country in check. Yuvraj Singh fits the bill here since the southpaw has done well with the 14 crore splashed on him and we think the Punjab-born has the brains to lead a sound budget for our country.

Cheteshwar Pujara – Defence Minister

collage3

Known to have the best defence in the Indian Test team, there is no doubt that Cheteshwar Pujara can handle the rigours of protecting the country too.

Virat Kohli – Home Affairs Minister

collage4

With a string of ‘affairs’ surrounding him, you surely know why we awarded the Home Affairs Minister to Indian vice-captain Virat Kohli. Do you want to know who could be his secretary here? Any guesses.

Rahul Dravid – External Affairs Minister

collage55.[1]

‘The Wall’ of Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid had a penchant for overseas tours. The former India player always performed well on overseas tours and there are no prizes for guessing, he is our External Affairs Minister.

Sachin Tendulkar – President Of India

collage5

If Cricket is a religion, Sachin Tendulkar is it’s god! This statement is truly etched in every fan of this country. If we had to give away a post to the Master Blaster, the President of India could be the ultimate seat.

Sunil Gavaskar – Law and Justice Minister

collage62

After the BCCI went through a rough phase, the interim head post was handed over to former India skipper Sunil Gavaskar. ‘Sunny’ decided to dish out all the corruption and false claims that had stained the BCCI and the IPL. With that said, Gavaskar could easily handle the Law and Justice ministry with much ease.
