And we begin our second part of the IPL 7 Preview where we highlight the next four teams in the league. Here are their strengths and weakness:

Mumbai Indians:
Strengths – The batting looks solid with the inclusion of Kieron Pollard, Rohit Sharma and Michael Hussey. The bowling duo of Zaheer Khan and Lasith Malinga can provide breakthrough’s when needed. And more importantly, Sachin Tendulkar will be ‘present’ in the dugout for the Mumbai Indians. A timely boost indeed!

Weakness – The absence of veteran Sachin Tendulkar might hurt them a bit. Harbhajan Singh will be under a lot of pressure to deliver (with the national recall on his mind). Corey Anderson is new to IPL and might take time to settle in the side.

Rajasthan Royals:
Strengths – With Shane Watson as skipper, expect the Royals to go with an ‘attack’ mindset. The Aussie all-rounder provides a great bit of experience and also can be handy with the ball. Ajinkya Rahane is a known quantity in the IPL as well as the inclusion of iconic Brad Hodge can come in handy for the Royals in vital stages.

Weakness – Besides the overseas bowlers, none of the Indian talent provide quality. There are no big stars (besides Ajinkya Rahane) in the Royals set-up.

Royal Challengers Bangalore
Strengths – A team of talented superstars with the likes of Virat Kohli, 14 crore man Yuvraj Singh, Vijay Zol, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers leading the batting line-up. The bowling attack too looks strong with Oz pacer Mitchell Starc and West Indies bowler Ravi Rampaul too in the fray.

Weakness – Besides Muralidharan, there is no other spinner to compliment the veteran bowler. Yuvraj Singh has come under a lot of stick recently and will have to deliver the best when required.

Sunrisers Hyderabad
Strengths – The team includes a list of power hitters with Shikhar Dhawan (captain), David Warner and Aaron Finch leading the attack. Spinner Amit Mishra too has been in form recently and will be definitely eyeing few scalps in the IPL. Speedster Dale Steyn is also in prime form and with a mixture of great batsmen and bowlers, Sunrisers Hyderabad can be touted as challengers in this tourney.

Weakness – Shikhar Dhawan failed to lead the side during last year’s CLT20 and might struggle against other teams. The team has a good mixture of youth and experience but can they go afar, remains the issue.
