2. Innovation
When I say that the managers, irrespective of the organization they work in, are expected to be innovative I do not mean that other job profiles are not. However, a manager is expected to bring new ideas for the organization and cultivate them among employees so that they match with, and contemplate for the increasing competition. The payment is totally worth the amount of effort they put in.

3. Result oriented
Anticipating what the organization’s priorities are, is the foremost role a manager is paid for. Dividing and attributing roles to employees perfect for a particular job to get the best result possible, is not an easy thing to do. A manager is not just expected to perform and produce results, but he is expected to do that in the most effective way. That’s probably the reason he was hired.

4. Stress
With the amount of responsibilities and duties a manager is supposed to fulfil, the results won’t come in just handy. Being innovative, delivering social responsibility, and being an agent of change involves a lot of stress as well. From production to products to quality management to customer satisfaction and to profit of the organization- nope, not even close to easy.

The responsibilities of a manager arise out of various social interactions the firm is engaged with. Delivering the role of a philanthropist, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, incorporating ways to run the organization smoothly and what-not, their pay cheque is totally worth the pressure they undergo.
