A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology is an undergraduate degree, duration of which is three years.  The basic difference between a B. Sc  IT and B.E. in IT is that the latter focuses on mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing, rather than emphasizing specific technologies, while the former focuses on various subjects like software, databases and networking. They are also involved in the planning, development and troubleshooting issues of the database. 3. IT Manager

An Information technology Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining an organization’s technology infrastructure. More than seventy percent of business rely on central information processing system to support efficient data management and communications. As an IT manager you’ll be required to monitor the organization’s operational requirements and technological solutions.

4. System analyst

System analysts are responsible for the complete life cycle of a new or modified IT system. From analysing the existing arrangements to implementing new system and provding training on the same, is what a system analyst is required to do.

5. Lectureship

Those who possess a Master’s or higher degree in this field are eligible to apply for the post of lecturers or professors in universities. You will need to take the NET (National Eligibility Test) or SET (State Eligibility Test) to be eligible for such a position.
