The cast of Dedh Ishqiya look fab and fashionable in the teaser poster of the film. The actors look sexy in a very Indian way and I kinda love that rustic feel. While Naseeruddin Shah goes all ‘nawabi’ in his bandh gala and Karakul hat, smelling a rose and striking a poet like expression, Mad’s fashion truly reflects aesthetic allure. The way she’s gazing coyly through her transparent dupatta is sure to make the men all weak in the knees, especially the two stylish goons in the film.
Arshad Warsi has kept it plain and rustic in this Abhishek Chaubey flick. The checkered ‘gamcha’ around his head, his black ‘chashma’ and the unabashed carefree grin is so Gangs of Wasseypur-ish. Loving the whole hype around the film…the raw look and the rural appeal makes this one a must watch on my wish list.
