Actress Drew Barrymore is “thrilled” and “overjoyed” about her second pregnancy.
She had kept it a secret, but the buzz about her pregnancy spread when she was spotted in a baby bump-concealing gown at the LACMA Art+Film Gala on Saturday. Her representative confirmed the news on Monday.
“Last time I never commented on it and people just stalked me the entire time,” the 38-year-old told People.
“So yes, it’s happening, it’s true. I tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible,” she added.
She already has a 13-month-old daughter named Olive with husband Will Kopelman.
“When I found out (about the pregnancy) I was overjoyed. It always feels so surreal, it’s incredible,” she said, and added: “(I’m feeling) incredible, that sort of here we go again feeling. And blessed. Blessed.”
The whole family is thrilled.
“Will is just thrilled – we both are – (because) we just wanted so badly for Olive to have a sibling. In some ways, it’s really for her. So congratulations, Olive,” she added.
