Syria suffering from humanitarian disaster

The Syrian war has already killed more than 100,000 people and driven millions out from their homes. Syria blames rebels, fighting to topple President Bashar al-Assad, for the attack. The US had alleged that Syrian forces were responsible for last month’s chemical attacks around Damascus and a team of the United Nations had visited the rebel-held areas, taking blood and tissue samples from victims. This war threatens to spread violence across the Middle East, with countries supporting the sectarian divisions that brought civil war to Lebanon and Iraq.
