Among snakes, there are non-venomous to venomous whose bites can kill an animal or a person. There is a sense of spreading danger whenever snakes are around. But mongooses are the only animals that snakes want to stay far away from. They both cannot stay side by side, snakes are sure to be defeated. There are many reasons that the venomous bite of the snakes can do on its only enemy in the world.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="size-medium wp-image-77419 aligncenter" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2fd6d5932605d0766a874e31367dcc6e-262x400.jpg" alt="Venomous snakes 4" width="262" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2fd6d5932605d0766a874e31367dcc6e-262x400.jpg 262w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2fd6d5932605d0766a874e31367dcc6e-393x600.jpg 393w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2fd6d5932605d0766a874e31367dcc6e.jpg 419w" sizes="(max-width: 262px) 100vw, 262px" /></p>
<h3>Why Mongoose is able to win even against venomous snakes?</h3>
<p>Mongoose is almost undefeatable, it is the reason that this animal is banned in New Zealand. It can kill any animal; an increase in its population is a sign of danger for the survival of other animals. Even snakes are not able to survive when encountered in any fight with their enemy. The weird nature of the destroyer is not at all liked as a pet or even in forests. Snakes are allowed in zoos but mongooses are not. Venomous snakes can spread the terror of death wherever it goes but their poison does not act on the flexible and fur-coated body.</p>
<p>Between the fight for life and death the snake&#8217;s bite, the poison does not work on the mongoose. The presence of the acetyl chlorine receptor (AChR) alpha subunit in the muscles nicotinic makes it the winner. It acts as a great protector against poisons. This helps them to survive even against the bite of the cobra; they can defeat the most venomous one.</p>
<p>The muscles are thick coats with specific chemical presence disabling the poison to work on it. Above all the outer part of the Mongoose body is covered with fur. The flexibility of the animal is an essential feature that allows escaping the bites of any type of snake.</p>
<h3>How does a mongoose kill a snake?</h3>
<p>Killing a snake is not easy; it has the ability to escape with quick and flexible body movements. When they find their prey around or any enemy nearby, it is their venomous teeth that help them to escape and survive. Hunting of snakes is exceptional, as mongoose has an extraordinary ability to move. Their high-rated flexibility and speed do not allow the serpentine to win.</p>
<p>In the initial stage, the mongoose continuously plays with the target until it gets tired. Once the target gets tired it is easy to hunt them. Highly energetic and flexible animal with a protective coating, mongoose can fight till the end, first playing with them and then slowly bringing them into their control and continue fighting with them unless they stop moving.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-77420 aligncenter" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/main-qimg-84be34b5c40d2bf9112713e48be38d05-pjlq.jpg" alt="" width="442" height="328" /></p>
<p>Even when venomous snakes bite and try to run away the quick movements of a mongoose stops them to escape. Indian mongooses are trained as pets and kept at home. It is because of the destructive nature they keep unwanted animals away from the property boundary. Rarely snakes are seen to win as they can hardly bite consecutively two to three times at once. About 80 percent of the mongoose winning records confirms against the venomous cobras.</p>

There are countries that don&#8217;t practice any of these and there are a few that have set example in the global forefront by abiding by those simple rules. The societal ills and atrocities tend to tarnish the overall image of a country and when we take personal inventory into corrective methods, our small steps bring big changes. Every citizen, after all, should imbibe some basic ethics that make a country a better place for the generations to come. Here are handful of names of such countries that teach us a thing or two about unity, empathy, altruism and living for others:</p>
<p><strong>Sweden:</strong></p>
<p>This tops the list of happiest countries of the world consistently because of the satisfaction level of the citizens. For example, if you want to probe into the fact as to what makes these countrymen so happy, simply visit a small coffee shop where you will be faced with the tradition of <em>Fika, </em>which is &#8220;break time&#8221; where locals meet, greet and eat pastries together in an act of merrymaking.</p>
<p><strong>Australia:</strong></p>
<p>The main reason why Australia is deemed to be the happiest country in the world is that it has very low pollution level and of course, high level of civic engagement. Australia, aside from that, is very popular for arranging barbecue in national parks or outdoor places where they offer free or coin-operated grills which unites people over food.</p>
<p><strong>New Zealand:</strong></p>
<p>This is a thriving ecological paradise beaming with the gorgeous sight of Blue Mountains to the wild Penguins. This biodiverse paradise in the world prides on the ecological balance which obviously is accredited to human hard work. If you are in New Zealand, you should not miss visiting the Volcano, ancient Maori sites and raters at Tongariro and Whanaguni National Parks.</p>
<p><strong>Canada:</strong></p>
<p>Canada is the symbol of unity and boasts on being the most culturally diverse country in that bargain. visitors can learn the art of mushing during winter’s dogsledding season in the parts of the northwest along the old Trans-Canada Highway. The adventure junkies can hike the slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and Canada&#8217;s many national parks are there to take your breath away.</p>
<p><strong>Finland:</strong></p>
<p>A rather interesting custom that lures the visitors in the country is the Sauna. Yes, you can drain your worries in the Finnish Sauna. More interestingly, it has 3.3 million saunas throughout the country despite of having 5.2 million people.</p>
<p>Well, we believe that you have already figured out that these are the best travel destinations in the world whose law and order are in place too. These countries are, over the year, largely thronged by visitors and no wonder they return all contented.</p>

<p>Maybe it was fatigue, nerves or whatever, our tall-order batsmen lost it and India failed to achieve the score set by the Kangaroos or even getting close to it!</p>
<p>Well, what is done is done and now New Zealand meets Australia in their first ever Cricket world cup final matches. New Zealand already brought South Africa to tears after winning a match most people thought they wouldn’t!</p>
<p>Here are 5 reasons why New Zealand might just clinch their first-ever world cup victory in their first-ever final match:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Australian Middle-Order Isn’t That Strong</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>If Australians Aaron Finch, Steve Smith and David Warner’s wickets are clinched in the early overs, the Aussie middle order containing Glenn Maxwell, Shane Watson and Michael Clarke might choke to pressure since they have performed below par in this World Cup in comparison to their actual strike rates and their capabilities. If New Zealand can keep up their pace attack like they did against SA, their match win is imminent.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div id="attachment_27004" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/australia.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27004" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-27004" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/australia.jpg" alt="Australia" width="650" height="365" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27004" class="wp-caption-text">Australia</p></div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Melbourne Cricket Ground Factor</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>Yes, it might be the home ground to the Aussies and a mecca of cricket for them, but the NZ players have played a lot of matches on this ground in the erstwhile tri-series. Australia played their opening match against England at this ground and had won the match, but England was a much weaker team in comparison to NZ.</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<div id="attachment_27007" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/mel-ground.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27007" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-27007" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/mel-ground.jpg" alt="Melbourne Ground" width="650" height="434" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/mel-ground.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/mel-ground-599x400.jpg 599w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27007" class="wp-caption-text">Melbourne Ground</p></div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Corey Anderson–The All-Rounder!</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>This fiery bowler is himself capable of knocking down the Aussie army. His 3 wickets for 72 runs are what broke South Africa’s attack in the Semi-finals. He may be costlier on the runs side, but he takes crucial wickets, especially when his attack is complemented by Daniel Vettori and Trent Boult’s spells. He can score big runs with the bat too to compensate for lost runs. AB de Villers broke his record of the fastest hundred in ODIs. Corey’s personal best was 100 runs in just 36 balls!</p>
<div id="attachment_27019" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/corey-anderson1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27019" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-27019" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/corey-anderson1.jpg" alt="Corey Anderson" width="650" height="650" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/corey-anderson1.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/corey-anderson1-400x400.jpg 400w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/corey-anderson1-600x600.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27019" class="wp-caption-text">Corey Anderson</p></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Grant Elliot – The Superman! </strong></li>
</ul>
<p>This man decimated South Africa in the Semi Finals and is sure to repeat the process for Australia as well! His 84 not out against SA in just 73 balls is what won New Zealand that nail-biting match which most experts had thought NZ will lose. He is like the Dhoni of New Zealand – 100% dependable!</p>
<div id="attachment_27020" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Grant-Elliott1.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27020" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-27020" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Grant-Elliott1.jpg" alt="Grant Elliott" width="650" height="434" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Grant-Elliott1.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Grant-Elliott1-599x400.jpg 599w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27020" class="wp-caption-text">Grant Elliott</p></div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Unbeaten Record </strong></li>
</ul>
<p>Yes, you guessed it right! NZ is still unbeaten in this world cup! Like a Spartan against the 4_time World cup champions! This team has not lost any match, but Australia lost a few during their sojourn towards the finals.<strong> </strong></p>
<p>If NZ wins this final, they are going to create history for themselves – beating champions Australia, at their home ground in their first ever World Cup Finals! Imagine the headlines that would be, if this actually happens!</p>
<p>The Aussies have tasted world cup success 4 times and it would be exciting to see what New Zealand, the first-time final finishers bring in to the game that promises to be a nail-biter owing to New Zealand’s thrilling display of sportsmanship this season right from the tri-series against Australia and India and this World Cup.</p>
<p>We feel the Aussies might choke just like India or the South Africans at the last moment and might accidentally gift a befitting victory to the New Zealanders.</p>
<div id="attachment_27015" style="width: 660px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/unbeaten.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-27015" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-27015" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/unbeaten.jpg" alt="Unbeaten" width="650" height="414" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/unbeaten.jpg 650w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/unbeaten-628x400.jpg 628w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/unbeaten-95x60.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-27015" class="wp-caption-text">Unbeaten</p></div>

<p>All the cricketing nations would be watching this match closely (especially India and Australia) to know which team would make its debut as the finalist.</p>
<p>Yes, <strong>neither South Africa nor New Zealand has ever reached the final of a cricket World Cup before</strong>.</p>
<p>Where New Zealand has successfully maintained the unbeaten record in this tournament, South Africa made their way into the semi-final for the first time ever.</p>
<p>Though New Zealand appear as the clear favourites, South Africa would try their level best to not ‘choke’ under what appears to be a pressure situation for them.</p>
<p><strong>Team Form</strong></p>
<p>The Proteas faced Sri Lanka in their quarter-final match eventually gaining a comfortable win as their bowlers bowled out the Asian team for a measly 133. The Africans won that match big with not only 9 wickets to spare, but also 18 overs.</p>
<div id="attachment_26504" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sa-vs-sl.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26504" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-26504" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sa-vs-sl.jpg" alt="South Africa beat Sri Lanka by 133 runs in the quarter-final" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sa-vs-sl.jpg 630w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sa-vs-sl-600x400.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26504" class="wp-caption-text">South Africa beat Sri Lanka by 9 wickets in the quarter-final</p></div>
<p>The Black Caps, on the other hand, dominated the West Indies. It is officially time for the likes of Brendon McCullum and Trent Boult to step aside and pave way for Martin Guptill, who the highest score by a New Zealander ever (237*) against their opponents to set them a target of 393.</p>
<div id="attachment_26507" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Trent-Boult.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26507" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-26507" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Trent-Boult.jpg" alt="Trent Boult has performed consistently in this edition of the World Cup" width="600" height="339" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26507" class="wp-caption-text">Trent Boult has performed consistently in this edition of the World Cup</p></div>
<p><strong>The Players</strong></p>
<p>South Africa’s bowling seemed to have been enjoying the party from the back till the Pool games, but it really came to the party against Sri Lanka in the quarter-finals. The spinners decimated the Sri Lankan batting line-up with Imran Tahir claiming four-for and <strong>JP Duminy</strong> claiming his hat-trick and ending up with the figures of 3-29.</p>
<div id="attachment_26506" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jp-duminy-v-sri-lanka.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26506" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-26506" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jp-duminy-v-sri-lanka.jpg" alt="JP Duminy's hat-trick proved fatal in Sri Lanka's defeat in the quarter-final" width="600" height="450" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jp-duminy-v-sri-lanka.jpg 806w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jp-duminy-v-sri-lanka-533x400.jpg 533w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jp-duminy-v-sri-lanka-799x600.jpg 799w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26506" class="wp-caption-text">JP Duminy&#8217;s hat-trick proved fatal in Sri Lanka&#8217;s defeat in the quarter-final</p></div>
<p>New Zealand, on the other hand, has been in spectacular form, with the bat and the ball. Though initially Brendon McCullum took charge in regards with scoring runs, the last two matches have seen <strong>Martin Guptill</strong> step up to the occasion scoring a century and a double-century, respectively. Even Trent Boult and Tim Southee have troubled the batsmen with their in-wing and out-swinging deliveries.</p>
<div id="attachment_26505" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/martin-guptill-double-ton.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26505" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-26505" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/martin-guptill-double-ton.jpg" alt="Martin Guptill will have to play a big innings to ensure New Zealand's win" width="600" height="343" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/martin-guptill-double-ton.jpg 700w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/martin-guptill-double-ton-660x377.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26505" class="wp-caption-text">Martin Guptill will have to play a big innings to ensure New Zealand&#8217;s win</p></div>
<p><strong>Face-to-Face</strong></p>
<p>In the World Cups, the two teams have faced each other on six occasions. <strong>New Zealand holds an edge over its opponents with four wins as compared to South Africa’s two</strong>. The Proteas would definitely want to get the win tomorrow and enter the finals for the first time.</p>
<div id="attachment_26508" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/new-zealand-team.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-26508" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-26508" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/new-zealand-team.jpg" alt="New Zealand are 4-2 ahead against South Africa in World Cups" width="600" height="338" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/new-zealand-team.jpg 1280w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/new-zealand-team-660x371.jpg 660w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/new-zealand-team-1000x563.jpg 1000w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-26508" class="wp-caption-text">New Zealand are 4-2 ahead against South Africa in World Cups</p></div>
<p><strong>Prediction</strong></p>
<p>We hope the match to go till the last over, making the bout a lot more interesting than it already is. Both teams have never reached World Cup finals before which would only elevate their hunger to outdo their opponent.</p>
<p>Looking at the line-up, the form and history concerning both teams, New Zealand should enter the finals.</p>

<p>Where West Indies convincingly beat UAE, Pakistan took their own time to strike the final blow against Ireland.</p>
<p>Though it was an easy win for West Indies, they had to chase whatever the target set inside 36 overs. They managed to do that in the 31st over after losing 4 wickets.</p>
<p>Jason Holder, the West Indies captain, was extremely pleased with the result and must have revelled in his own individual performance of 4 for 27.</p>
<div id="attachment_25917" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jason-holder.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25917" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-25917" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jason-holder.jpg" alt="West Indies captain Jason Holder celebrates a wicket" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jason-holder.jpg 630w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jason-holder-600x400.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25917" class="wp-caption-text">West Indies captain Jason Holder celebrates a wicket</p></div>
<p>“We needed to win by a certain margin. We had to show positive intent. We knew we had to finish the game inside 36 overs and we did it”, is what he said during the post-match presentation ceremony.</p>
<p>The final Pool match between Pakistan and Ireland saw Pakistani wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed become the first man since 2007 World Cup to score a century for his team in this major tournament.</p>
<div id="attachment_25920" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sarfraz-ahmed.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-25920" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-25920" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sarfraz-ahmed.jpg" alt="Sarfraz Ahmed scored an unbeaten century against Ireland" width="600" height="338" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sarfraz-ahmed.jpg 768w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/sarfraz-ahmed-660x371.jpg 660w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-25920" class="wp-caption-text">Sarfraz Ahmed scored an unbeaten century against Ireland</p></div>
<p>The conclusion of yesterday’s matches meant that the World Cup has its eight quarter-finalist teams – South Africa, Sri Lanka, India, New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and West Indies – that will compete against one another for the coveted prize.</p>

<p>The first quarter-final match will be played on 18th March between Sri Lanka and South Africa. Defending champions India will take on their Asian adversary Bangladesh on the 19th in Melbourne. Australia, the four-time former World Cup champion, will face Pakistan on March 20. The quarter-finals will end with co-host New Zealand taking on West Indies on the 21st of March in Wellington.</p>
<p>Where the post-match programme Cricket Live yesterday saw the cricket legends predicting winners of the quarter-finals as South Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand, it will only be on the match day when we get to witness as to which teams handle the pressure better.</p>
<p>In case any of the quarter-final / semi-final matches gets abandoned or tied, the team that finished in a higher position than their opponent would move on to the next stage of the competition.</p>

All teams – the frontrunners and the minnows – are prepping for one of the toughest battles they will ever face.</p>
<p>If the 2011 World Cup in the Asian subcontinent was a difficult tour for cricketing nations, the pitches in Australia and New Zealand will have their share of troubles to offer.</p>
<p>This time around, however, the ICC has decided to make certain tweaks to the already existing rules; the format though will be similar to the previous edition with ten teams participating.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Two New Balls</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_23748" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/two-new-balls.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23748" decoding="async" class="wp-image-23748" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/two-new-balls.jpg" alt="two new balls" width="600" height="600" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/two-new-balls.jpg 1024w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/two-new-balls-400x400.jpg 400w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/two-new-balls-600x600.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23748" class="wp-caption-text">Two new balls will be used</p></div>
<p>White ball degrades sooner than the red cherry, which is why, not too long ago, ICC came up with the rule to replace the new ball with a semi-new ball after 34 overs. This caused a lot of troubles for fast bowlers, as they reported not being able to reverse swing the semi-new ball, which actually is possible with an old, worn out ball. During the 2015 edition of the World Cup, teams will be provided two new balls each, which is sure to make batting all the more interesting. Again, reverse swing will be rarely be in the picture.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Powerplays and Fielding Restrictions</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_23749" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/umpire-signalling-powerplay.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23749" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-23749" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/umpire-signalling-powerplay.jpg" alt="umpire signalling powerplay" width="600" height="379" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/umpire-signalling-powerplay.jpg 1061w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/umpire-signalling-powerplay-632x400.jpg 632w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/umpire-signalling-powerplay-949x600.jpg 949w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/umpire-signalling-powerplay-95x60.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23749" class="wp-caption-text">Powerplay will be divided in two sections</p></div>
<p>The change of having four fielders instead of five within the 30-yard circle was made in 2012 and ICC will stick to that rule. You will also notice that there will be only two sections of powerplay instead of three. The first powerplay will be the mandatory one that comes into play in the first ten overs. The second one will be used by the batting side, but before the 40th over, where three fielders will be allowed outside the 30-yard circle instead of two.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Decision Review System</strong></p>
<div id="attachment_23750" style="width: 610px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/decision-review-system.jpg" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery'><img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-23750" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-23750" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/decision-review-system.jpg" alt="decision review system" width="600" height="393" /></a><p id="caption-attachment-23750" class="wp-caption-text">The DRS will be altered</p></div>
<p>The Decision Review System has always been seen as an interesting addition to cricket, as more often than not, it helps umpires make the right decision. Real-Time Snickometer and Hot Spot are often part of the DRS. This year’s World Cup will not include Hot Spot, but Real-Time Snickometer will be made available. Also, the initially practised 2.5 metre rule for lbw has been increased to 3 metres.</p>

<p><strong>Super Overs Only in Finals</strong></p>

<p>In the 2011 World Cup, ICC introduced Super Overs in all matches that ended in a tie, in order to decide a winner. In 2015, Super Overs will feature only in the Finals, if the need be. The earlier edition featured the one-over eliminator in the knockout stage, but has been eliminated altogether for this year’s tournament.</p>

<p><strong>The Winner’s Fee</strong></p>

<p>The winner’s fee for the 2015 ICC World Cup has been increased by 25% as compared to the set prize money for the 2011 World Cup. If a team goes unbeaten throughout the tournament, like Australia did in 2007 World Cup, it can <a id="_GPLITA_0" style="border: none !important; text-indent: 0px !important; float: none !important; font-weight: bold !important; height: auto !important; margin: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important; text-decoration: underline !important; vertical-align: baseline !important; width: auto !important; background: transparent !important;" title="Click to Continue &gt; by Browser AdBlocker" href="#" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">earn more<img decoding="async" style="border: none !important; text-indent: 0px !important; float: none !important; font-weight: bold !important; height: 10px !important; margin: 0px 0px 0px 3px !important; padding: 0px !important; text-decoration: underline !important; vertical-align: super !important; width: 10px !important; background: transparent !important;" src="http://cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png" class='wp-img-bg-off' rel='mygallery' alt="" /></a> than $4 million. Also, for the first time in World Cup history, the teams that do not reach the quarter-finals will also be compensated.</p>

<p>But here’s the big deal – the Indian hockey men have to face the Kiwis without their influential midfielder, Sardar Singh.</p>
<p>The skipper has been suspended for one match following his second dangerous offence in the tournament.</p>
<p>Sardar was reprimanded during the Australia game and was followed by a yellow card against South Africa. The authorities initially had handed him a two-match ban but after an appeal by the Indian contingent, the suspension was reduced to one.</p>
<p>So how will the Indian hockey team do without their midfield maestro in the semi-final clash against the Kiwis?</p>
<p>Coach Terry Walsh has taken a balanced team to the CWG that saw the Men in Blue win three out of their allotted four matches. Walsh’s side has a fair combination of experience and youngsters and no wonder; the results are there to see.</p>
<p>The likes of VR Raghunath, Rupinder Pal Singh add the vital experience to the side with the likes of Akashdeep Singh and Yuvraj Walmiki adding the youth side to it. Rewinding the clock back to the 1998 at Kuala Lumpur, Team India had tasted success over the Black Sticks but in 2006 Melbourne edition, New Zealand emerged victorious, beating India 2-1 in the 5-6 position playoff. India did not play the Kiwis in 2010 Delhi Games where the hosts settled for silver while the New Zealand took away the bronze medal.</p>
<p>New Zealand are current favourites going into this tie with former ranked number 6 in the world and New several players in the side have more international experience to their name. Their main man will be penalty corner specialist Andy Hayward, who will look to pile up more goals and misery for the Indian hockey team.</p>
<p>Clearly from the outset, Team India looks a bit shaky and deflated (without Sardar Singh). The steel and nerves of Sardar will be missed immensely in the midfield but some of the seniors have to step up the plate and take the team home. Its either make or break for the Hockey side who might not see the light at the end of the tunnel after all!</p>
