Genius day celebration is in honor of Albert Einstein. On 14^th March of each year, the day is celebrated. It is a way to develop the awareness of science and the requirements of intelligent people to dedicate themselves to science. The day is also considered the scientist day to cherish the achievements of discoveries, studies, and inventions.

Though Einstein’s level of intelligence is still impossible to find, still there are scientists who have brought in development through changes and inventions. The day is specifically to remind society about the importance of science and the Genius of Einstein.

Achievements of Albert Einstein

The discoveries and inventions of Albert Einstein are the results of his far-sighted thoughts. His innovative thinking, trials, and practices for inventions have given rise to theories including their implementations. Some of his popular theories are

• The general theory of relativity
• The special theory of Relativity

The special theory of relativity was invented in 1905, and the General theory of relativity was in 1916. One of the common examples that describe the importance of his General theory of relativity is the Clock. The rule of the curve or graph between space and time which is inclined to a movement that is faster, it makes to move about 45 microseconds per day.

Another common example of the special theory of relativity is the GPS system that is used to track the position of any object. Vehicles have a GPS system and it allows them to track the passengers as well as the movement of cars.

In 1921, Albert Einstein received the Nobel prize in physics for his genius inventions. His discoveries in form of theories have been a pathway toward developments in science and technologies. Scientists and technology together are working on his theories to gift new age with technologies.

Why was the day considered Genius Day?

Albert Einstein is considered as the scientific Genius for his inventions in energy release formula. Often his invention is related to the nuclear bombs but it was not his advent to discover the weapons. The theory does not describe or provide any clue on the composition or formula of bomb discovery.

His invention of the relation between energy and mass has pushed science and technology to modern and useful inventions. Several scientists and researchers are working day and night to provide new thoughts and inventions. It is the reason they are given the honor of scientists, to recognize their achievements. Also, recognize the inventions of famous scientists who have contributed to science and provide the power of education and knowledge to the upcoming generation.

The day started to dedicate and remember Albert Einstein. Later it became famous as Genius as well as Scientist day.  14^th March is his birthday, he was born in Ulm, Germany but he lived in New Jersey, US.

Inventions from the past so a success while some are failures. But few top inventions were never in practice. People hardly know about these inventions but it has been historical inventions that would have really made a difference in life. Now the thoughts may seem to be weird but it changes to new inventions in past that are preserved as valuable. 

Forgot weird historical inventions

Forgot but useful inventions have now turned to become a weird history that will give an idea about the use and priority of science and knowledge. The presence of these inventions from the 1900s would have given additional benefits to the present world. 

Welte Mignon

One of the weird inventions was the Welte Mignon, which was a method in piano that played pre-recorded music. It was done by using automated cylinders. Best for the piano players who liked to record their music. The Welte Mignon recorded the music on rolls and then the players could listen to their pieces whenever they wanted. It was a famous invention in the world of music. 

But only a few people learned piano and with the slowing down of the players, this invention is ended with the use of automated piano. 

Submarine Tube

Another classy scientific invention was this submarine tube. It was invented by Charles Williamson in 1910. It was mostly invented to find out treasures and other essential things underwater. A tube was attached to the submarine through which treasures and pearls could be found at once. It became a famous historical invention as it helped in various underwater discoveries. 

Later it was a great option to explore underwater photography but as time moved on discoveries and ideas have ended the era of the submarine tubes. 

Spring Designed Spokes for cars

The changes in structure and designs of the wheels of the cars are never-ending. One of the remarkable changes that were a diverted history was the Spring Designed spokes. The designs of the spokes for providing a better ride were not much use, the use of wooden wheels was common. 

The idea did not succeed due to the discoveries and ideas on making better tires or wheels. Finally, the concept and invention were no longer in use. 

The Frisk reading machine

Weird historical invention for the readers, the frisk reading machine was handy. Carrying it can be easy instead of belongings of heavy books. The concept of this invention was to print tiny pages of a book. Then use the magnifying glasses to read the letters and words written on the tiny pages. 

The advantages of using these reading machines were many that made it popular. It was cheap, less need of paper, above all best for book worms. 

These were valuable and popular historical inventions but did not survive long. The ideas diminished with the advanced use of ideas and technologies. Discoveries were for the convenience of the people’s uses but with the alternate opportunities, the classy inventions were not able to move to future extents.

Some undoubtedly created great things and made our LIFE easier. Others got screwed over for the inventions they made because it turned about to be worst. Today, in this article, we are going to talk about inventors who never made enough money or got enough credit for the inventions they made.

Yeah, I know, that not getting credit AFTER making the invention so popular is the worst thing ever. Sadly, some inventors experienced this worst thing and never got credit. IT HURTS. But, there’s a reason “why” they didn’t get any credit.

1. FIDGET SPINNER

For all those who never missed any Instagram stories will agree, that they came across many stories that shows people enjoying Fidget Spinner. You might’ve purchased it too. We all know Fidget Spinner created buzz all around the world. Whether Fidget Spinner is good or bad, that’s another thing, but many made sure to get their hands on spinner to experience how it works. Fidget Spinner original inventor “Catherine Hettinger” revealed her idea to the vice president of popular toy company “Hasbro”, but he rejected the idea. Just when her patent ended, Hasbro introduced this toy and earned money, giving no credit to the original inventor Catherine Hettinger.

Catherine revealed that she doesn’t regret anything, as the only motto behind the Fidget Spinner was to calm the kids.

2. BALLPOINT PEN

Yes, the pen that we use while writing. Isn’t this shocking? It is, right? Inventor “Laszlo Biro” invented ballpoint pen when he got frustrated by the ink in Fountain pens. Well, he did have credit and he made money, but not as much as you think he should have. Due to some money problems, he had to sell the patent to businessman Marcel Bich, who made A LOT of money.

3. FRICTION MATCH

We all know that match is a tool used to start a FIRE. The small wooden sticks that are used to start a FIRE, yeah, many uses it to light their cigarette, was invented by John Walker. The only reason he didn’t make money is because he refused to patent his invention.

Later, others copied this idea and made money.

4. KARAOKE MACHINES

I know many will be like, “What? Seriously? C’mon, the inventors deserve the credit and money.” But hey, I know it hurts but the man behind this invention made very less money. Daisuke Inoue was a drummer in Japanese brand and one day, someone asked him to record the tracks so he could enjoy the songs alone. Thus the invention was born but sadly, he never patented this idea.

5. HOVERBOARD

No doubt, Hoverboard is the coolest thing invented. We are in love with this vehicle and I’m sure that many who don’t have this, secretly wish to have one. Shane Chen patented it under the brand name “Hovertrax”, but sadly, didn’t made enough money. Later on, Chinese companies made millions.
