There is a place in the world that is the smallest country in the world. Sealand is the place which has the highest population of only 30 people. It is situated within the British Territorial waters. It is not at all recognized by any of the sovereign states.

The Rough towers offshore of the Northern Sea were decommissioned after 1967. Finally, this was occupied by Paddy Roy Bates. Later it declared the micronation as a sovereign state.

Administration of Sealand

The legal system of Sealand follows the British common law. While being a country it has its own currency and passports. So, those who attempt to visit this micronation will need a passport to enter the country. The Sealand also issued passports which they call a fantasy passport. But it is not valid for any international travel.

The countries have their own stamps, passports, and coins which have their own motto. It says “E Mare Libertas”, “From the Sea, Freedom”. This micronation country is in the books of Guinness book of world record for having the smallest area. The country is within an area of 4000 square meters.

The ruler of the Sealand is royal and Roy Bates styles as well as adorns himself as Prince Roy and his wife as Princess Joan. Their son is known as “His Royal Highness Prince Micheal”.

Business and sports in the highest population

The highest population of 30 persons is not all-sufficient to participate in any international games or sports. But it has an official team of players who play as national athletes. They are not entirely the people of Sealand, few are Non-Sealand who play as a national team. They take part in various kinds of games such as minigolf, football, athletics, fencing, and curling.

In 2003 the initiative was taken and Darren Blackburn of Canada was appointed as the first athlete to play for Sealand. After which they have started to participate in various sports for local games and won a few medals and awards.

The business of the Sealand has many commercial businesses that provide a good economic backup to the country. The coins and postage stamps have also been included in a great part of the business. It also has an offshore internet facility or a data haven.

The establishment of the Data haven in the micronation with the highest population of 30 people turned popular as Haven Co. It also took control of the Roughs Tower from 2000. But later after two years, the co-founder of HavenCo left his partnership with the Bates family. It was due to the disagreements between the co-founders.

The highest population of micronation’s Recognition

Though Sealand is known as the smallest country it does not have any official recognization by any of the sovereign states. There is still a question mark on the recognition of the country but according to Micheal Bates, they are receiving applications for issuing passports every day.

A day to spend without any work, stay at home and relax after dedicating a few minutes to the National holiday. Feels like heaven but, what about the countries like Germany and Britain? Germany has recently been rewarded with Unity day which is on 3rd October. Publics have to go to work and spend the day at home.

Comparing to other countries globally Germany has one national holiday while Britain does not have any. History already mentions the Superiority of the British ruling over the world. By 1913 British was able to occupy 23 per cent of the world population.

No National holidays in Britain and Denmark

Rulers who have been ruling for centuries actually did not realize to have any kind of independence day. The country itself is responsible for the awarding with different parts of the world with National holidays. There are different holidays to celebrate from valentine’s day to Christmas round the year but no specific day to remember about dependency or slavery. Seems like the people have been in heaven for years.

Other countries from different parts of the world celebrate their national holidays. Somehow or another Britain has been responsible for them. To celebrate, formally they did not need any such kind of day to celebrate. No schools, offices and organization are closed on the occasion and dedication on the honour of nation in Britain. Britain celebrates the birthday of the Queen but does not have any holiday.

Denmark’s constitution day

Another country is Denmark that does not have any such day to celebrate. The country has the constitution day but no official closings are on this day. The constitution day is celebrated on 5 June which is in honour of the first as well as present that was declared in the year 1849 and 1953. They believe it as the day of democracy but without any break from work or schools.

Now, the day is treated as a normal working day but earlier from 1891 to 1975, there was half-day work for the people of Denmark. Denmark is one of the countries in Europe without any national holiday. It was hell in past is now heaven!

Unity day from 1990 in Germany

Germany was another country that did not have any such kind of day. It was in 1990 that they have Unity day. They stay at home and enjoy their day off from regular activities. The rulers who invaded or captured the regions have claimed their day of independence. But with the changes the days were shifted, such as during the Nazi power the day was May 1st from 1933 while Hitler came into rule it was on 9th November 1939.

The Unity day was declared after East Germany and West Germany was able to reunite in 1990 on 3rd October. Finally, it has one unity day but there is no off from work.

These are the three countries which have many holidays round the year but it does not have any specific National holiday. They do not have any requirement to celebrate independence day which ensures freedom as heaven!

But the cemeteries of Denmark is the only place that people love visiting. The place is one of the socializing areas similar to the parks when people come to enjoy the company of nature. What are special about the cemeteries that are inspiring the people of Denmark to visit?

The beautiful scenes that bring human close to nature. The most attractive cemeteries covering a large area is the Assistens locates in Norrebo. People regularly explore the scenic beauty as it is a paradise for them. The main intention of most to visit is to realize and feel the peace that exists in the area.
The beautiful gardens with flowers, green leafy trees, and the expansion of the greenery to large areas are the reason to attract people. Not only for the people of Denmark but it is slowly turning to become the attractions for visitors and the tourists from different part of the world.

Peace in the cemeteries of Denmark

The truth of death and the peace lies in the cemeteries are never hidden to anyone. The peace of the area makes the Assistens of Norrebo. The large silent area can easily pull a person’s busy and stressed mind away from the silence of the area. The serene beauty of nature separates to ensure people feel the ambiance of paradise.
Danish come to the place in search of relief and peace. The regular increase in the visitors ensures that the people can continue with the activities. While roaming around Danish are found to simply sit and feel the green nature. Few spend hours reading books while many are seen taking walks around the paths of the cemeteries.

Why changes to cemeteries from public parks?

Most of the countries worldwide use cemeteries for burial purposes. No one really prefers visiting such areas unless any cause to death of their close ones. Activities similar to the public areas are not really encouraging. This is due to the lack of scenic beauty, maintenance as public property, and somewhere a fear of death.
But the cemeteries of Denmark have given a great inspiring treat to the natives and also the tourists. They have beautified their traditional place, bringing a closeness of the peaceful nature to the user to the human cause.
Concerts, cultural events, and many theatre shows are organized in the area of the Assistens.

It is one of the popular cemeteries that have different shows and functions around the year. The place builds for resting of the soul covers an area of 25 hectares. People who want to avoid the crowds come and spend long times in the cemetery.

Hereby people do not like to spend time in cemeteries as there is no mode of attraction for the human eyes. The Assistens is one of the cemeteries in Denmark, the favorite place for all groups and ages of people. The sculptures, lakes, sounds of birds, and the greenery of trees altogether is the reason to attract the public to the cemetery.
