How Sonakshi Sinha Has Upped Her Fashion Quotient

Look at her, just look. Sonakshi Sinha, who has never been known for her sartorial choices, has suddenly turned into a diva. Gone are her awkward fashion sense and behenji-esque outfits, her clothes are now hipper, cooler and more her age. Despite our slight issues with her meh hair, the masala queen totally rocks this Manish Malhotra creation.

It’s not every day that we see the conservative Sinha baby in a backless kurti. We can expect this kind of boldness from a Sonam or a Deepika, but never from Sonakashi. Perhaps that’s why we were surprised when we saw her do this sexy number at Mijwan Welfare Socity’s fashion show.

So how has this ‘Gandi Baat’ babe upped her FQ? By being herself than anything else. She doesn’t fall into the ‘experiment’ trap, but doesn’t shy away from pulling one-offs like this either. She is comfortable in her voluptuous frame and rustic Indian looks, which makes one of the most endearing actresses in Bollywood right now.

We love the bold lippie that’s adding the much needed pop to her otherwise sombre outfit. Her accessories are perfectly paired too. Kudos to her for leaving her hair open because a fierce hairdo would have made her look older and more mature. We are still waiting for her to go the fringes route though. She has come this far and we are sure that she would choose that style tip as well. Are you listening, Ms Sinha?

After being written off for her poor fashion sense, she has definitely bounced back with much aplomb. Because everything about this look screams ‘hot’, right down to her tan wedges. The split sharara kurta could easily have overwhelmed her and made her look lot heavier than she is, but the sleek hair and peppy make-up takes care of that. We totally approve. What about you guys?
