Based on the undying love and respect between Rama and Hanumanji the Chaitra Navaratri has a special offering for Bajranbali.  Lord Hanuman has been the only closest follower of Lord Rama. His contribution to saving and serving Rama and Sita is an example of love and dedication in mythological history. Devotees offer him various kinds of sweets, food filled with rituals. He has believed to be the lord who removes the obstacles, hardships, and guides us to the pathway of glory.

Hanuman is also known as Bajrang Bali, who had carried the Gandhamardan Parvat. It was to save the life of Rama when he was sent to bring herbs for medication. But as he was not able to identify the herbs, Sanjeevani Booti,  so he lifted the mountain and brought it to Lord Rama.  In other words, he was the savior of Rama.

Chaitra Navaratri and Rudra Avatar of Hanumanji

Hanumanji has been a devotee of Lord Shiva. In the medieval ages Sanskrit books, he has been described as Lord Shiva. It is the reason his presence in the rituals of Chaitra carried out by Rama has been auspicious and successful. Hanumanji is also known as the Rudra Avatar. His incarnation of devotion and strength has given him the avatar of Rudra.

It was during the abduction that he reached the islands of Lanka. The Goddess of Island blessed him and mentioned that the month of Chaitra and Ashwin will be observed and prayed. She realized that he was the Rudra Avatar.

Worship the power and energy of Hanumanji

On the celebration of Chaitra Navratri, the idol of  Hanumanji is worshiped as the symbol of power and energy. The nine days are especially the festival to observe Navratri in the month of Chaitra. But apart from it, Bajaranbali is also offered with prayers. It is carried out effectively for 10 days from Pratipada to Dashami.

Hanumanji is adorned with flowers, Chandan, and a garland of cloth. He is offered chickpeas as Prasada, after which the Hanuman Chalisa is chanted 7 times. Of all the rituals one of the essential is the Hanuman Upasana.

The Upasana is carried out with a belief that it generates positivity. Drives away the financial obstacle and business issues. Devotees have an intense belief in the Hanuman Upasana.  People who suffer from a lack of confidence and strength in taking decisions. It is the time they pray and acquire the blessing to overcome difficulties and obtain better times ahead.

Applying sindoor is also an essential part as it was a boon from Lord Rama that if his devotees will apply sindoor on Hanumanji then they will be blessed with a long and happy life. So, those who apply sindoor or vermilion to Lord Hanuman will have a blessed life.

Devotees have to worship Hanumanji in Chaitra Navratri. It is a part of the festival apart from worshipping Lord Parvati. The celebration stands as one of the popular festivals of India in which Hanumanji takes a special place.
