Digvijay Singh is some sort of a clown who shoots his sound off, resulting in humiliation to his party colleagues with his politically incorrect statements.
Veteran Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader MG Vaidya on Saturday attacked the Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh for his latest tweet that RSS is the Hindu version of the Taliban.
Singh had tweeted “I hate all those who advocate Ideology of Hate including Taliban and I won’t allow the Hindu version of Taliban to succeed in India.”
Vaidya said Singh need not be taken gravely as he is mentally unbalanced. He added that he fails to understand why the media takes Singh so seriously.
In his tweet, Singh also questioned whether Modi was ‘ditching’ RSS seniors in the course of commandeering Patel’s inheritance.
Singh tweeted “Is Narendra Modi ditching RSS Icons Golwalkar, Deen Dayal Uppadhyay & Shyamaprasad Mukherji? Now trying to hijack Patel’s legacy? Can’t blame Modi. This is what RSS indoctrinates its Cadres! History as RSS sees it!”
Reportedly, Vaidya commented “I don’t understand why people take Digvijay Singh seriously. I have said several times that he is not mentally stable. The elections are approaching and so these kinds of things will continue.”
Well this is not the first time that Digvijay Singh had received this compliment. He has received such flattering remarks several times.
In September 2011, Digvijay Singh had said that there is RSS hand behind Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement. Replying to these remarks, Hazare said that Singh lost his mental balance and people like him should be kept in a mental asylum.
In July this year, Digvijay Singh raked controversy when he described party MP Meenakshi Natarajan as ‘totally pure’. While addressing a rally of party workers in Madhya Pradesh, Singh had said, “Our party MP, Meenakshi Natrajan is a Gandhian, simple and an honest leader. She keeps going from place to place in her constituency… Meenakshi Sou Tanch Khara Maal Hai.”
Reacting to this statement, BJP leader Vinay Katiyar had said, “Digvijay Singh has lost his mental balance. We request the government to make him undergo treatment at the earliest at a mental hospital.”
Such compliments are very usual and frequent for Digvijay Singh. He is some sort of a clown who shoots his sound off, resulting in humiliation to himself and his party colleagues with his politically incorrect statements.
