Xolo Q600S: This SmartPhone is Smarter Than Motorola Moto E!

Xolo Q600S is an extremely affordable and feature-packed smartphone. It has an edge over the famous Motorola Moto E, in terms of bigger screen, faster processor, capacious battery, and front-facing camera, all of which are available at a price similar to its competitor.

The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Xolo, has come up with its new budget Android smartphone in India, the Xolo Q600S. Touted to challenge the very popular Moto E, this phone holds power-packed functionalities, with a price below the 10,000 mark. With the launch of Xolo Q600S, the Indian brand brings yet another addition of a competitive entry-level smartphone in its Q series.  Powered by the latest Android OS version, quad-core processor, and big display, the handset promises to deliver easy multi-tasking and accelerated performance.

Flaunting a thickness profile of 7.9mm, the Xolo Q600S is probably one of the slimmest smartphones available in the market. Gleaming in black and white colors, the handset boasts of a premium design.

Sporting a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, with OGS technology, Full Lamination, 960×540 pixels resolution, 16 M colors, and 244 ppi pixel density, the Xolo Q600S delivers clear, crisp, and vibrant viewing experience. It runs the versatile Android 4.4 KitKat version, and brings onboard 4 GB of internal storage, with an option to further expand to 64 GB, with the help of a Micro SD card.

The new 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom processor teamed with 1 GB of RAM provides power to the phone and accounts for a lag-free smooth performance. The VideoCore IV GPU also offers superior gaming experience.

Other Xolo Q600S features include 3.5 MM audio jack, Dual-SIM support, FM radio, HD playback, capacitive screen, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and more.

At the rear, is a 5 MP camera, loaded with features, such as, LED Flash, BSI Sensor, autofocus, 720p video recording, scene detection, face recognition, geo tagging, Panorama, and more. Additionally, the device also houses a VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS & GLONASS. It packs a 2,000 mAh battery which offers a total standby time up to 400 hours and talk time up to 11 hours on 3G networks.

The price of Xolo Q600S is approximately INR 8,500. However, the handset is exclusively available on the famous e-commerce website, Snapdeal, for an introductory price of around INR 7,500. 

Equipped with amazing Xolo Q600S specs, this is the only device which proves stronger when compared to Moto E, atleast on paper. Owing to its configurations and aggressive pricing, it also directly competes with the likes of Micromax Unite 2 and Lava Iris X1. However, the future of the smartphone will primarily depend upon its real-life performance.
