Building on the popularity generated by Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, the corporate giant announced the next-generation tablet series, which will thrill its users with its portability and outstanding multimedia experience. Available in three variants, Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, with display sizes of 7 inches, 8 inches, and 10.1 inches respectively, the device boasts of its sleek design and lightweight. While most of the features remain similar to its predecessor, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Series dons a more premium look, delivers brilliant viewing, and comes packed with a host of fun & shareable services, making the device ideal for the entire family.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Series features a textured look with a slim design, enabling users to enjoy great graphics. While the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 weighs 276 g and measures 7.36×4.25×0.35 inches, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 weighs 320g and has dimensions of 8.27 x4.88×0.31 inches. The biggest of them all, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a weight of 487 g and measures 9.57 x 0.31 inches. All the devices will sport black and white color options.
Powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, and WXGA display with resolution of 1280 x 860 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 models run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. Other Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 features include Group Play, Samsung Link, WatchON, Multiwindow, Voice Call, ChatON, HW Key, and many more.
All the devices come loaded with 16 GB of internal memory which can further expand to 64 GB with the help of a Micro SD card. However, Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 may feature 8 GB or 16 GB of internal memory.
All the three models come equipped with a 3mega pixel rear end camera and a 1.3mega pixel front facing camera.
Connectivity features for all the variants include BT4.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, WiFi Direct, and USB2.0.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 packs a whopping 6800 mAh of battery, while Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 brings onboard 4450 mAh of battery. There is no exact information about the battery backup of Galaxy Tab 4 7.0.
