This Laptop, Powered By Google’s ANDROID, Will Totally Change Your Computing Experience!

Though there is no announcement on the launch & price of the HP Slatebook 14, but this laptop with its good looks, powerful processor, and contemporary features, promises to give tough competition to its rivals.

A video leaked from the website of HP, the ace laptop manufacturer, brought to limelight the next offering from the company – the HP Slatebook 14.

An Italian website spotted the video and disclosed its features. HP promptly deleted it, but we have the basic information about this 14-inch notebook powered by Google’s Android Operating System. The HP Slatebook 14 video revealed a sleek & lightweight notebook that comes with a host of exciting features, including the Google Play Store and Google first-party apps.

Though there is no news of the launch of the HP Slatebook 14 Laptop, but we expect it to happen soon.

Features & Specifications:

Donning a 14 inch, full HD touch screen display, the gadget comes in an ultra-slim design with a chic and vibrant yellow frame, which complements the black body. The overall look of the laptop is certainly enticing.

Powered by an NVIDIA Tegra Quad-Core processor & Google Android software, the laptop has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The gadget apparently runs on a normal tablet version of Android. Though, there is no clarity on the Android version, the video reveals that the laptop would run either on Android 4.2 or 4.3.

The other HP Slatebook 14 Specifications include a microSD card slot, audio jack, Beats Audio, HDMI port, 3 USB ports, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth. The gadget may also come with a SIM card slot for cellular connectivity. Another significant feature of HP Slatebook 14 is its keyboard with dedicated keys for Android functions. The keys for ‘Recent Apps’ & ‘Home’ replace the standard ‘Windows’ key, and the Android’s ‘Back’ button substitutes the ‘Escape’ key.

We would have to wait for the official launch to get information on the NVIDIA Quad-Core processor version. We expect a Tegra 4 chip or a NVIDIA Tegra K1 to power the HP Slatebook 14.

Price:

HP is yet to confirm & launch the product, and hence, there is no announcement on the HP Slatebook 14 Price too.

With its good design, powerful processor, and a superb Google Android Operating System, the HP Slatebook 14, looks promising. Backed by a guarantee from the HP brand, this laptop may give stiff competition to the existing laptops. However, the future of this much talked about gadget depends on the price tag that HP would give it, as well as, the features, on which there is not much clarity at present.
