Especially in India it has no boundaries of dramas associated with it. Love relationships of many young couples are also can be measured on similar lines. Few people are very outgoing about their relationships and have no problem in telling the world of how madly they are in love with each other.
While on the other side, some of them love playing behind the bushes and are not comfortable enough to be outspoken about their relationships. One reason can be the great Indian taboo of seeing the couples with a fierce eye as if love is some sin. So, many people, who hide their relationship from the world often, find some comfortable words to keep their relationship in a shell.
People who have been through such a saga can relate to this very well and yes many of us have been through such a stage may during our teens or early college days.

Remember the movie Queen? When the hero tries to catch Kangana’s hand in library, a teacher comes and questions and the hero answers that she is her sister! Yes this is the most common excuse that people give when they are caught red handed that the girl is their sister so that they can clear out the air.

Another tag that is most commonly used is the couple being just friends and then you will find such people celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friendship’s day. Yes, it’s true that people don’t want to name their relationship anything beyond friendship. Friendship and relationship does go hand in hand but mixing up such relations mind be disastrous at some point of time.

Well, with much of personal experience, if the above things don’t work well, then girls try out to be more creative. When unable to move alone with the boyfriend, girls do hangout with her boyfriend and any of her girlfriends so that if caught they can simply give such an excuse!

Thinking about a more dramatic situation, what if a girl is found at a guy’s place by his friend and disturbing their private make out session? She is instantly tagged as the classmate to catch up on some ‘group studies’ and can be out of a very odd situation by having such an excuse. It does take a lot of courage to make such thing happen.

People also give such great excuses, when they are teased by their friends. They simply say that the girl already has a boyfriend. Who knows that boyfriend is the same guy who is giving such explanations? Same thing at times go with the girls too when they are caught in a similar situation.

Last but not the least; people usually dodge on such situation by saying that the girl for whom they are teasing already has number of guys after her. Adding to this, he might also question of why the hell she will choose me? So that he can give a new direction to the whole story.
So, yes as you can see how people try to hide their relationships.
It does make them play safe at that moment. But then, why to hide from the world when you love someone?
