#Breaking: BJP MP Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Narrowly Escapes Bullets In UP

In the fourth case of attack and third case of murder, body of Rakesh Rastogi, 40, the divisional vice-president of BJP’s Nainital unit, was found tied with a nylon rope in his car.

Update: BJP MP from Fatehpur, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti narrowly escaped shots fired at her by unknown assailants in the morning today.

It seems Akhilesh Yadav doesn’t want to return as Uttar Pradesh chief minister in the next elections.

While the rape cases in the state are not coming to a halt, the attack on Bhartiya Janata Party leaders is also not ceasing.

According to Times of India, a senior office bearer of BJP, who had gone missing on Friday evening, was found dead in his car on Baheri-Nainital highway on Saturday with multiple injury marks. The body of Rakesh Rastogi, 40, the divisional vice-president of BJP’s Nainital unit, was found tied with a nylon rope, leading to suspicion that he had been murdered.

This is the fourth case of attack and third case of murder of a BJP leader in the state.

Before this case, BJP leader Vijay Pandit was gunned down in Dadri area of Gautam Budhha Nagar (Greater Noida) in west UP on June 7, vice-president of BJP unit in Mirapur town in Muzaffarnagar district Om Veer Singh was shot dead on June 10, and another leader Puneet Singhal was shot at in Bulandshahr who continues to be in critical condition.

The BJP had swept Lok Sabha elections in the state and the state BJP unit fears that the attacks are a form of retaliation by the assailants. Pandit’s wife Geeta who is the chairperson of the Nagar Palika, Dadri, alleged SP leader Narendra Bhati and two others were behind the murder of her husband.

The attack on BJP leaders in the light of their landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections is quite disturbing.

BJP leaders and supporters were shot at in Mamata Banerjee’s West Bengal too by her own Trinamool Congress men. The TMC goons had opened fire on the celebrating lot injuring as many as 26. A delegation of senior leaders had gone to West Bengal to assess the situation and had reported the same to party chief but the fear prevails among people over there.

Apart from brief information and snippets from party spokespersons, no word has come from party chief or the prime minister himself. There was no news of PM Narendra Modi or BJP delegation talking to Banerjee.

What transpired in the Modi-Akhilesh meeting two days ago is not known.

The top leadership in BJP needs to take note of the situation as soon as possible because it was the hard work of these ground soldiers that they won the big fight.
