The Strangers made $82 million on a budget of just $9 million, which means that Hollywood definitely sees it as a viable franchise. And that is why, The Strangers 2 is really happening and it’s set for a release in the last quarter of 2016. Away from the masked killers in the original picture, this sequel may have something different on palette. Although the plot revolves in a similar manner. The Strangers 2 will reportedly hone in on “a family with a troubled daughter attempting to bond on a family vacation together.” When said family arrive at the trailer parker home of a relative, though, they discover that he’s been murdered – horrifically killed at the hands of the titular “Strangers.”
These sequels might be hated by some and loved by some, but Hollywood does get a large chunk of its movie evenues from India, without a doubt.
