Hosts Brazil will play Croatia in the opening match of the 2014 World Cup that takes place on June 12 in Sao Paulo, as the draw was completed on Friday. 32 teams will be seen battling, for one coveted prize – the World Champion. We take a look at the some of the groups that could grab more eyeballs, after the draw ceremony was held…

Group B
This group includes current World champions Spain, former runners-up Netherlands, Chile and Australia. Somewhat a tricky group that will see Spain and the Dutch go head to head again, a rematch of 2010 World Cup final. Also, Chile and Australia will be no pushovers.

Group D
Certainly a ‘Group of Death’ for the English atleast. This group lists those from Uruguay, Costa Rica, former champions Italy and England. With the likes of Mario Balotelli, Andrea Pirlo, Luis Suarez, Wayne Rooney all in a platter; keeping eyes off this group will be a total sham!

Group G
This group contains the likes of Germany, Portugal, Ghana and USA. Odds might be stacked against the Ghanaians and the USA but football is a tricky game. Will Cristiano Ronaldo be able to lead his side into the finals? Can the Germans win the World Cup this time? This group will give the answer.

Group A
Hosts Brazil compete against the likes of Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon in this group. Playing on home soil will add to the pressure of delivering but the Samba boys will be up to the test to take on the other nations.
