Enjoy a grilled feast on Friday night with Salt, pepper and meat

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 8-10 minutes

Serves: One to two

What you need:

2 strips of mutton/lamb steak, ½ pound each


Freshly ground black pepper

Butter/Oil (optional)

How to make:

  1. On a medium heat place a grill about 4 inches above the heat source. Place steaks on the grill and sprinkle some salt followed by pepper.
  2. Refrain from touching and cook for about 3 minutes. Turn and cook the other side. Check for tenderness by peeking inside with a sharp knife.
  3. When the steaks start turning brown from red, remove it from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle more salt, if you want, and serve with raw onion rings and mint leaves. Add a mint based dip if you want it a little juicy.
