Sitting all day in front of a computer is not really good and beneficial to the body. No matter what, our body needs movements and if we’re not able to give that then there are certain problems that we’ve to deal with e.g. problems like back pain, muscle pains, cramps, and eye strains etc.

If you’re a 9-5 worker and have started experiencing any of these body problems, then I’m telling you that you must start doing the exercises now.

These exercises will not only keep your body parts relaxed but it will also keep you away from all the body related problems.

Here are 8 exercises to do while sitting in front of your computer.

  1. Neck

Start with your neck and stay focused while doing it. So, move your head backward and forward, turn it left to light. Keep doing this simple neck exercise whenever you’re free doing nothing.

  1. Shoulders

Roll your shoulders forward for around 10 times and then backward for around 10 times too. Do it whenever you’re free.

  1. Wrists

If you spend a lot of time doing the typing work then this exercise is a must, as it’ll help you prevent the carpal tunnel syndrome quickly. So, roll your wrists at-least 10-12 times after every 1 hour.

  1. Elbows

Place both your fingertips on shoulders and extend your elbows (Stretch). Now, touch your elbows together in front and join them. Repeat this exercise 10-12 times. Also, there is one more method that you can try and it is, place both your fingertips on shoulders and now raise your elbows both up and down at-least 10-12 times.

  1. Stomach

Breathe in, and hold it in that way for about few seconds and then breathe out. Keep repeating the same for 5-6 minutes.

  1. Leg

Firstly, sit on your chair in a straight position. Now, raise your one leg and extend it in front in a way that it levels your hips equally. Now, hold it as long as you can. Later, repeat the same with your other leg.

  1. Chest

Stretch your arms wide apart and then try to pull your shoulders back. Keep repeating it 10-12 times daily.

  1. Use Elastic Band

Yes, using elastic band is an absolute benefit to keep body in shape. All you need to do is, stretch your arms while pulling the elastic band. Repeat it 10-12 times after every 2 hour.
