Website selling tickets for Sachin’s last Test crashes!

Kyazoonga.com, the website that was given charge to sell tickets for the Master Blaster’s final showdown in India whites, has crashed

If you thought getting a ticket for Sachin Tendulkar’s final Test at Wankhede was going to be a walk in the park, hold your horses! Kyazoonga.com, the website that was given charge to sell tickets for the Master Blaster’s final showdown in India whites, has crashed. When you log onto the page you get to know that the ‘Server is too busy’ .

Earlier, MCA had stated that the tickets will be available online and the booking for the same would begin from November 11, Monday.  The second Test match between India and West Indies starts from November 14 and the MCA is already in full swing to make all the adjustments for the auspicious day.

The tickets are priced at Rs500, Rs1,000 and Rs2,500 and only two tickets per person can be booked. The MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) had also stated that out of the 33,000 tickets only 5000 tickets will be available to the general public for Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell Test at the Wankhede Stadium which has a capacity of nearly 33,000.

Here are some points if you are going for the Test:

  • After one books the ticket online, he/she has to collect it from redemption/ ticket pick-up counters which will function between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Mumbai Hockey Association from November 12.
  • Buyers are requested to bring their credit/ debit cards, a valid photo ID proof with its photocopy and a print out of the page of the ticket confirmation.
  • If someone else is collecting the ticket, then the person needs to carry an authorisation letter and the buyer’s original photo identification with its photocopy.
