Rajasthan Royals: Men who mattered

We take a look at the men who have been instrumental in their journey to the finals

Rahul Dravid-led Rajasthan Royals have continued their winning run at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium as the team beat the Perth Scorchers easily by nine wickets to cruise to the semi-finals. We take a look at the men who have been instrumental in their journey to the finals:

Pravin Tambe
Spinner Praveen Tambe has shown that age is just a number. The 40-year-old spinner has been one of the key players for Rahul Dravid this CLT20, picking 6 wickets in 2 games, which includes 4/15 vs. Higveld Lions. The legbreak bowler will look to continue his dazzling performance with the ball till the finals.

Sanju Samson
In three games played so far, Sanju Samson is the highest scorer (116) amongst the Royals’ batsmen in the tourney. His innings of 54 against the Mumbai Indians was a standout performance and the team would like to see the Kerela batsman add more runs.

Kevin Cooper
The West Indian pacer has been a good addition to the Rajasthan outfit with 4 wickets in the CLT20 so far. The lanky Kevin Cooper played a crucial role in the team’s win against Perth Scorchers and knows that this form has to be continuous.

Rahul Dravid
Yes, the skipper Rahul Dravid does need a mention. The past few months have been a nightmare for him and his team with the spot-fixing scandal but Dravid has led his team out of it with amazing leadership skills. With this being his last tournament with the Royals, the Bangalore-born star would like to take the CLT20 trophy as a souvenir.
