Rolls Royce, the British luxury carmaker unveiled the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II at the Geneva Motor Show. Synonymous with luxury, the Ghost Series is already a hit with the young and ambitious.

This year, the car gets an upgrade. The auto giant plans to launch the car in UK during mid-2014 and at the end of the year in India. Festooned with new headlights and wake channel on the bonnet, we expect the upcoming model to get slight tweaks. Characterized by superior workmanship, and the finest materials, this hand-built car is undoubtedly a priceless possession.

Design, Built & Exteriors:

With its elegant design, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II shares its platform with the BMW 7-Series. The 2014-upgraded version would differ slightly in looks, as compared to its predecessor. The notable changes include new LED headlamps, a redesigned bumper, and chrome garnished lower grille. The 21-inch wheels add to the classiness of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Exteriors. The auto giant gives its prospective buyers the option to choose from five different wheel designs with two different finishes.

Interiors:

Each and every segment of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Interiors is simply incredible. Designed to perfection, the car flaunts stylish seats with hand-stitched leatherwork which takes over 15 days to complete. All upholstery is pre-shrunk and drum-dyed to avoid squeaking or cracking. The veneers used in the car come from a single tree giving it a flawless interior. Rolls Royce also offers a bespoke audio system for the pleasure pursuit of its customers. With 18 speakers the audio system delivers an unmatched acoustic experience.

Another important feature of this car is the Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller which provides directions, and gives access to the internet. The touchpad enables the driver to enter navigation instructions or make calls.

The other notable Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Features include a 10.25-inch high-definition screen, Satellite Aided Technology (SAT), on-board Wi-Fi, infrared camera, and more.

Engine & Performance:

There are no significant changes to the engine of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II. Equipped by a 6.6-liter V12 mill, we expect it to yield 563 bhp of power and 780 Nm of torque, similar to its predecessor. It would also accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in just 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 250km/hr.

Price:

The company is yet to reveal the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Price. The existing Ghost model comes at a price of Rs 4.36 Crores in India and we expect a bit higher price for the series II.

This car is undoubtedly for a selected class – for those who dream big and who wish to achieve the best!
