For the young, raging, full of zeal factories of our age, Valentine‘s Day is one of the those occasions we celebrate enthusiastically. It’s quite obvious that you would be ready with your plans of celebrating V-day with your loved one or ones. But here are a few things that we suggest you should NOT do on this special day. Read on!
Call up your ex
You go out for a party with your friends a day before. You get all sloshed and while your friends are busy enjoying with their partners, you miss the moments spent with your ex. That is the time when you are high and all senti-ed up. So smell garlic, eat onions or just gulp a litre of caffeine, but do NOT call up your ex. You agree totally, don’t you?
Announce your V-Day plan on social media
Alright people, everybody knows what day is it and they have their own plans. If you want the world to know what you did for your loved one on this day shout it off near a cliff or on the mike. Do not flood the social media websites with status messages. Nobody’s really interested in your love life or in knowing what color dress you and your loved one is wearing. Even if you want to share your “personal”moments with others, please put a pic rather than putting statuses every 10 mins.
Curse your loved one for buying a gift for less than 100 bucks
Oh yes! Something is always better than nothing. No gyaan, but I personally believe that as long as you’re happy with the person you love the most, expensive gifts doesn’t really matter much.
Propose for marriage
Thinking of proposing on Valentine’s day? How romantic! “Whole world” celebrates this day as a day for love and you, are so original. You asked her/him to marry you today? How lame is that. Why not choose a special day other than this to ask her out for matrimony.
Don’t cook if you cannot cook
If you’ve tried your hands on cooking earlier and it turned out to be a big failure, refrain from cooking this day. Agreed that you’d love to prepare something for your special one and he/she would just gulp it down, without even thinking; but for the sake of the surprise that could follow(growls in stomach), try not doing it.
Forget what day it is
This is the worst you could do. If you belong to the forgetful category, please add reminders, to-do notes on the mobile; make use of sticky notes for once or even ask a friend to remind you.
