Salman Khan is going ballistic with the promotions of his new film Jai Ho which releases this Friday. Not just that he has also been asking Aamir and SRK to give his film the much needed promotional boost. Making an appearance in various reality shows, from Nach Baliye to Comedy Nights With Kapil, Khan is all around to remind people to go the theatres in their vicinity and applaud his next endeavor.

While Salman and his millions of fans have been coming up with a zillion reasons to watch Jai Ho, I tell you why you shouldn’t waste you precious money watching this one…

#1. There’s nothing that can be achieved with in-your-face-jingoism. Hindi films should stop taking this route. It may be a sure shot route to box office success but Hello! Aren’t we tired of portraying the ‘same ol’ same ol’ concept of a hero fighting all by himself, against all that corruption, trying to instill a sense of guilt among people by dancing to a tacky song like ‘apna kaam banta, bhaad mein jaaye janta.’ Patriotism is good, but excessive of anything can make you feel purely nauseous.

#2. Do we still want to see a hero resorting to flying kicks  mid-air, packing a punch that only hurts the villain and not him, ‘coz his fist is made of iron I presume! Enough…please!

#3. Do we want to spend 500 bucks for a movie just so that we can whistle watching Sallu bhai doing some pelvic thrusts, shaking his turquoise bracelet, yanking at his jacket in absolute ishtyle; doesn’t he do this practically in all his movies. You still wanna root and hoot for THIS, then go ahead.

#4. Corny dialogues. We just don’t know what subtlety means, do we? Jai Ho is going to be full of them, be prepared!

#5. Mind numbing songs. Whoever has a taste for even slightly decent music, will loathe the loud and tacky songs in the film. Hear it at your own risk; it might damage some part of your brains!
