What else can be good but apna Sallu bhai’s return to the big screen! That is correct guys. The long wait is over, the veil of darkness will soon be lifted and the true superstar of Bollywood, Salman Khan will spread the light with his presence. We are talking about his upcoming flick, Kick, going to release on July 25th this year! The first official trailer of the movie is out and my oh my, it is nothing but sheer entertainment for his true blue fans!
The trailer shows a perfect mix of stuff Salman is famous for. Outstanding action that has gone a few notches higher and his famous one-liners, a perfect blend of high-adrenaline fun-filled entertainment. However, from the trailer it seems he is playing a baddie but it doesn’t matter. As long as we get to see Sallu bhai doing all those dangerous stunts and giving us some paisa-vasool entertainment, our votes go for him!
One thing that is standing out is the mask he is wearing in the flick. Is it inspired by Hrithik Roshan’s hit series, Krrish? Or the ill-fated Drona starring wannabe superhero, Abhishek Bachchan? The mystery will be solved only after the movie releases but one thing is for sure, Salman will give a new meaning and a new popularity to even something as ordinary as the mask!
First time director, Sajid Nadiadwala seems to have left no stone unturned in making a project that looks cool, stylish and yet retains the simplicity of Salman’s kind of cinema. Bringing Jacqueline Fernandez as the female lead gives the required oomph and glamour as the sexy lass is looking awesomely hot! And then, there is Randeep Hooda acting out the good cop, looking very much in control. Even though this is an out and out Salman Khan film, one actor who is definitely standing out is Nawazuddin Siddiqui! He is an actor par excellence and seems to be going great guns.
Salman’s one-liners like, ‘Main dil mein aata hoon, samajh mein nahi’ are a sure-shot whistle-producing kinds. Only Sallu bhai can mouth such lines and generate mass hysteria. The film has been shot in some of the best looking locales all across the world with some stunts promising a high-octane entertainment. Whoever said Salman is ageing, should go and bury their heads in sand and spend their life like that only!
The trailer is absolutely impressive, let us just hope that the film will be a treat to the eyes as well. Coming during Eid holidays, it will definitely make the festival more festive and an event to look forward to.
