Playing Sports/Exercising

EXPECTATION: You’re going to the Gym and get in your daily workout and feel refreshed healthy.

REALITY: Haha you’re kidding right? Gym? You will probably get in your sweats and nap for the rest of the day.

Wearing Clothes

EXPECTATION: You’re going to wear anything you feel like white or black! Form fitted or loose!

REALITY: You’re going to wear only dark colours because what if you stain! And form fitted clothes when you are feeling that bloated! NOOOOOOOOO.

In every student’s life, your 10th class is always one memorable year.

Everyone agrees that it is one hell of an emotional roller coaster with everyone in your family joining in on the “joyride”.

Everyone is staying up till wee hours of the night helping you study or preparing of memory boosting delicacies (Whatever the hell that is).

These efforts have reached new heights in Bihar both literally and figuratively. Parents and well-wishers of students appearing for these exams have been seen scaling walls as high as 3 stories to help their children cheat.

You heard it right Cheat.

With chits and everything.

How did they even come up with a plan like that?

Did the kids go up to their Mums, like “Ma will you climb a building to help me cheat on the exam?”

You know what my mum would do? Whoop my ass with her Chhapal and ask me to quit studying entirely. Even if they do pass in these exams what will these kids do next? Oh wait. I know open an institute where they will train parents to scale walls and help other kids cheat. And when it isn’t exam season they could be extras in the next installment of the Spiderman films.

Hell, maybe soon we will even have a Desi Spiderman.

Let’s face it, to all my sisters out there who say they dress for no one but themselves, I call Bullsh*t. I know that most women at least own two pairs of black leggings and wearing them consecutively for more than two days is a strict no no. why? Because “people” will think that you own only a single pair of pants.

2.Impulse Purchases

How many times have we strolled through the store looking at that hot crop top that we “may” fit into? Unfortunately it doesn’t happen, does it? Buyer’s remorse is basically the story of every woman’s life and happens way too often to the best of us.

3. Messy closets

For all those who say women are organizational wizards, it may be true but in most of our cases our closets are an organized mess! How many of us have gone in looking for something but settled for something else because we couldn’t find what we looking for? Well ain’t nobody got time for clearing up their closets! Till someone doesn’t invent a closet organizer I guess we are on our own.

4.“Classic Pieces”

Most women have the tendency to cling on to the past, and holding on to that dress from your 18^th birthday? Girl, it isn’t helping anybody. The only time it was probably classic was in 2007. It’s time to let it go.

5. The Vogue effect

All women want to look as fabulous as Sonam Kapoor or the models you see in the magazines, but you know what they have that you don’t? An inventory of designer clothes and shoes not to mention an army of makeup artists.

Girl, let’s be realistic, with those expectations, you are probably going to be left staring at your closet in your towel.
